In 1993 the internal market within the European Union was formed and ensured free movement of goods, services, capital and people. This led to the removal of trade barriers between members of the European Union. When opening up for competition, price differences between countries decreased and more jobs were created. A single currency was introduced by eleven countries in 1999 with the goal of reducing transaction costs, eliminating exchange rate risk and to further simplify trade. In 2001 Greece joined the collaboration and introduced the euro.

The construction industry has been heavily criticized in the past few years for its development of productivity compared to the manufacturing industry. In 2009 the Social Care Center developed a report that treated och criticized different errors within the construction industry. For instance competence, construction errors and performance had showned bad results which had to be improved. A common sentence within the building industry is that ?every project is unique?. Today it?s common for a construction company to have costs for material and services which exceeds two-thirds of the total cost.

The first regulation concerning the protection of shores was introduced in 1950. The purpose of that regulation was to "secure the general publics condition of an outdoor life". The protection has been sharpened over the years and in 1975 a general protection of the shores was introduced, which meant that all land was protected within 100 meters from the shoreline. In 1994 a supplement was made with the purpose to "preserve good conditions for animal and plants on land and in water". The Swedish Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) did an inquiry of the shore protection regulations commissioned by the Government in 2001. The inquiry pointed out that there were big lacks in the exemption decisions.

This study has its background in the debate about religion and the existence of God, which has been an ongoing issue throughout the Western cultural tradition. Today´s information society has been an impact on the increasing interest for this subject. The essay?s main task is to accomplish a rhetorical analysis of two books, Illusionen om Gud (2008) by atheist Richard Dawkins and Guds dödgrävare (2010) by Christian John Lennox, in order to investigate the authors? use of rhetorical strategies to influence their audience. The texts are studied using a qualitative approach with the theoretical basis of some well-defined rhetorical variables: ethical, logical and pathetic means of persuasion, propaganda, and the important factor that a message always is presented in a certain context in which the recipients both have their own values and subjects to general truths and common frames of reference.

AbstractBuying real estate property is a complex process for the uninitiated. Apotential buyer has to keep track of laws and regulations affecting theproperty. The purchase of a property is for many also the largest deal made inlife and because of that it is especially important to make sure everything getsdone correctly.A real estate property purchase contains a number of different elements, suchas engineering data and inspection of the property and documentation to makesure that the signing of contracts and clauses are done according to the laws ofthat country. These purchase process steps are ordinary people not familiarwith, and therefore they hire the help of a real estate agent.Buying a property abroad complicates things because the countries have theirown laws and rules that make them different from the Swedish rules which theSwedish real estate buyers are accustomed to.Our thesis is about exploring if a Swedish buyer knows the buying process inforeign countries, or whether they rely on the broker they hired. The countrieswe have chosen to examine and compare against Sweden is Spain, Thailandand Turkey.Our questions will be answered by interviewing buyers about how they feelabout their buying process, if they encountered any problems before, duringor after their purchase, and if they are happy with their purchase after theevent.Our study shows that the buying processes in all four countries are generallyequal to each other.

Fo?r att kunna tillfredssta?lla dessa patienters grundla?ggande behov och leverera en individanpassad va?rd, beho?vs o?kad kompetens kring kulturella skillnader och likheter.Syfte: Syftet med denna litteraturstudie var att belysa va?rdpersonals erfarenheter av att va?rda patienter med annan kulturell bakgrund.Metod: I litteraturstudien har tio kvalitativa empiriska studier sammansta?llts och analyserats genom en inneha?llsanalys pa? manifest niva?.

Sverige befinner precis som många andra länder i en omstrukturering av sin försvarsmakt, där syftet är att reducerastorleken samt anpassa Försvarsmakten mot de nya uppgifter som den förändrade omvärlden kräver. En av deuppgifter som har fått ett större fokus är det ökade deltagandet i internationell verksamhet. Men hur ser relationen utmellan officerskåren och de villkor som FM ställer med anledning av den ökade internationaliseringen?Denna uppsats kommer genom dokumentstudier och enkät undersökning att ge svar på följande frågor.Min övergripande frågeställning är: Skiljer sig officerskårens syn på den egna professionen markant frånFörsvarsmaktens syn?Resultaten i arbetet visar att officerskårens syn i de flesta fall väl stämmer överens med den syn som Försvarsmaktenhar.Den första delfrågan som jag ställer i uppsatsen för att svara på den övergripande frågeställningen är:Finns det skillnader mellan de som har skrivit kontrakt som förbinder dem till utlandstjänstgöring, dvs. de undersöktaMHS eleverna, och officerarna från FHS ChP som ursprungligen utbildades mot invasionsförsvaret, och därmed intehar skrivit kontrakt som förbinder dem till utlandstjänstgöring?Svaret är att det föreligger flera olika signifikanta skillnader mellan de undersökta MHS eleverna och officerarna frånFHS ChP.Nästa delfråga som jag ställer lyder enligt följande:Påverkar det land som missionen genomförs i samt tiden för tjänstgöring viljan att tjänstgöra i internationell tjänst?Svaret på frågan är att det land som missionen genomförs i påverkar viljan till tjänstgöring, däremot är intetjänstgöringstidens längd något som påverkar viljan att tjänstgöra.Den sista del fråga som jag ställer lyder:Finns det skillnader i de undersökta populationerna som inte går att härleda till MHS respektive FHS tillhörighet?Inom de undersökta populationerna föreligger det flera olika signifikanta skillnader som inte går att härleda till MHSrespektive FHS populationen..

The use of bio energy in Sweden has increased during the last few years and with every passing year, bio energy produces 3-4 TWh´s more energy than the previous year. The increase in the use of bio energy makes it an interesting prospect for forest companies to produce bio energy from the forest. Sveaskog has a fairly extensive bio energy programme, mainly in southern and middle Sweden. Their activity regarding bio energy in northern Sweden has been very restrictive or even non-existent. Because of this, during the winter of 2003-2004, Sveaskog initiated a number of degree projects with the purpose of looking at the use of bio energy in northern Sweden.

The purpose of this masters thesis is to study two subject gate-ways within the field of Swedish higher education and academic research, concerning structuring and selection of Internet resources to facilitate information retrieval for their target groups, and also to study two co-operation projects in the same field, one national and one European, to see how the co-operation is being carried through and how the gateways in the projects can serve from a wider perspective. The gateways, AGORA and NOVAGate, are being studied mainly by their Web sites and two e-mail interviews with persons responsible for the gateways. Facts about the national project are principally based on an interview with BIBSAM. The European Renardus is being studied out of articles and information on the Web site. From the results of the study it is being clear that the purpose of the gateways is to make a quality-selection of information accessible via the Internet and thereby facilitate for their target groups to find usable information.

Föroreningarna i snö kommer främst från avgaser och slitage av väg och däck från biltrafiken, föroreningarna som är i luften och salt och sand från halkbekämpning. Hur stora mängder det är beror på trafikintensitet och hur länge snö ligger på marken.

Hydropericardium or pericardial effusion (PE) is the accumulation of fluid in the pericardial sac and is often secondary to pericardial diseases or diseases related to the heart. It is unusual with clinically relevant pericardial diseases in cats but pericardial effusion is the most common one. Since PE causes serious symptoms and may lead to death it is important with a quick diagnosis and treatment. PE can be acute and cause cardiac tamponade, which gives severe clinical signs. Cardiac tamponade needs to be treated immediately or else the cat will die from cardiogenic chock. More common is chronic PE where the fluid accumulates during a longer period of time and the pericardial sac stretches.

In the present study, the institutional discourse in health care was examined, focusing onspeech therapists and occupational therapists in interaction with a common patient withaphasia. The purpose of the present study was to identify common communication strategiesused in the professional conversation between a speech therapist and a patient and between anoccupational therapist and the same patient. Specific research questions were: Whatcommunicative strategies are used in interaction between a speech therapist and a patient withaphasia and between the occupational therapist and the same patient? Are theredifferences/similarities between how speech therapists and occupational therapists interactwith patients with aphasia?Six people in total, two patients in interaction with a speech therapist and an occupationaltherapist respectively, were recorded during treatment sessions of each profession. Generaland specific aspects of the institutional interaction were then analysed according to principlesof conversation analysis.Similarities in the use of closed questions as a strategy to increase the effectiveness ininteraction could be seen between the two different professions studied.

Nyttjandet av motorfordon i allmänhet och snöskotrar i synnerhet har ökat kraftigt i naturen. Snöskotern har sedan introduktionen i Sverige, i mitten av 1960-talet, brett ut sig över hela Norrland. Många människor kombinerar nuförtiden intresset för friluftsliv med snöskoteråkning. Fordonet används emellertid inte enbart för rekreation utan är också ett arbetsredskap. Det är dock som fritidsaktivitet snöskotern rönt mest uppmärksamhet.

In forestry there are always needs of forest data to make good strategic decisions of different actions and economic winning. Usually this data gets from field-estimations made by forest workers with expensive costs and sometimes unsatisfied quality. StoraEnso Skog is a great forest company in Sweden and they have part of the responsibility of the forest own by Bergvik Skog. Bergvik Skog is owner of 1, 9 million hectares productive forest land. Both Bergvik and StoraEnso have great interest in new inventory techniques to get the important forest data. The company Foran Remote Sensing offers the opportunity with airborne laserscanning of forest and forest land. Foran got the mission of Bergvik and StoraEnso to laser scan Bergviks possession in Älvdalen, Dalarna.

The grain market is facing substantial changes. Tradionally, cereal has been a supply-led market i.e. supply conditions have had a major impact on price level or indirectly, through market interventions implemented through the Common Agriculture Policy (CAP). Just a few years ago, Sweden and the EU were not affected so strongly by world market prices for cereals. EU was a surplus-area and to a substantial degree a local market.
