The present study sought to examine the collaborative role of the student organization Here 4 U and the impact of this collaboration on the organization and its partners. As a point of departure a questionnaire was distributed to supervisors, principals and other cooperation partners of Here 4 U, the most prominent quantitative results of which were related to previous research, new institutional theory and empowerment theory. It turned out that partners interacting with Here 4 U felt that the collaboration was necessary and wanted to continue with it. The respondents to the questionnaire were asked to define the concept of collaboration. Factors emphasized by respondents included feeling of community, security, and common goals.

Till följd av den globala finanskrisen år 2008 ställdes det europeiska samarbetet på prov. I och med detta presenterade EU ett förslag till ett direktiv angående en finansiell transaktionsskatt för samtliga länder inom EU. Elva av EU:s 28 medlemsländer har valt att ställa sig bakom förslaget om en finansiell transaktionsskatt, vilket innebär att dessa länder avser införa en finansiell transaktionsskatt. Tidigare empiriska erfarenheter har dock visat att en finansiell transaktionsskatt är mindre effektiv än vad förespråkarna gör gällande, varken påverkan på skatteintäkter eller marknadens volatilitet har i dessa fall levt upp till de önskvärda effekterna.Denna uppsats syfte är att analysera vad som ligger till grund för ländernas ställningstagande och uppsatsens hypotes ger vid handen att det föreligger ett positivt samband mellan finanskrisens påverkan på respektive EU land, inhemsk opinion och ett positivt ställningstagande till en finansiell transaktionsskatt inom EU.För att testa hypotesen används en induktiv metod vilken är uppbyggd på vetenskapliga artiklar och ekonomisk litteratur. Vidare genomförs flera regressionsanalyser i syfte att påvisa de positiva samband som hypotesen antar föreligger.I de uppvisade resultaten framgår att det går att stödja uppsatsens hypotes.

This study aims to describe the influence of natural law on the common concept of justiceamongst Swedish officers around 1700. Through this study I intend to establish that therewere discrepancies and expressions of other norms in 17th and 18th century military culture.Both from natural law but also from Christian belief. A secondary aim is to establish howsuch variances were manifested and how they can be explained.A few theoretical starting-points have been used as a guide in developing the purpose andrelevant questions for this study. I intend to describe the key features of the concept of naturallaw as thoroughly as needed, through relevant legal literature. The next step will be to mapthese outlines against texts from the time, through a qualitative close reading.This study has investigated, at least, seven diaries from the time.

Purpose: The purpose with our study is to accomplish a quantitative research of all municipalities in Sweden and see why they apply Balanced Scorecard. The study will also investigate the spread of Balanced Scorecard, even the benefits and how they use it. Method: In our study we have chosen a quantitative research. The study has been accomplished with a questionnaire survey which we sent to all of the Swedish municipalities. We have also done a literature study to get more knowledge about relevant theories. Finally we have compiled the questionnaire in Netigate and Excel, and analysed the result from the questionnaire. Results: Balanced Scorecard is well-known in the Swedish municipalities and 36 percent of the municipalities use this scorecard in whole or in parts of the organisation.

Networking is an important part, for organizations, in the recruitment process. This since the emergence of Internet networking has become more common and the organizations finds that networking is applied more frequently in the recruitment process. Organizations have noticed that networking often is a more cost efficient option compared to traditional recruitment. Since networking in the recruitment process has increased, we intend to investigate if and how it affects the composition of organizations. This thesis aims to examine networking in the recruiting process, and aims to make no differences between networking offline and online.

Imagery is an individual and cognitive process (Morris, Spittle, & Watt, 2005). This study has therefore qualitatively examined following objectives: (1) elite powerlifters imagery experiences and (2) if elite powerlifters use imagery deliberately. Five elite powerlifters participated in the study (3 men, 2 women), they were 21-37 years old (M = 27.6; SD = 6.1). The Individual Profile of Imagery Experiences in Sport (IPIES; Weibull, 2008b) was modified and used to meet the objectives for the study. Imagery was used by all elite powerlifters.

The purpose of this essay was to describe how individual members of the self-help group Al-Anon discuss the importance and the influence the group has/have concerning their own lifestyle and self-image. To find answer to this I carried out qualitative interviews with five female members of a local Al-Anon group and later on analyzed the interviews using various concepts based upon the symbolic interactionism. I have mainly used concepts as; role-taking, significant symbols and referencegroup. Through the analysis of the interviews I have seen that the respondents self-image and thereby also their self-esteem has changed since they became a part of their local Al-Anon group. I have also noticed changes in their behaviors in their way of life.

The aim of this study is to create a deeper understanding of the disease known as eating disorder. The study is based on four autobiographies written by individuals who themselves have been affected by eating disorders. These stories have been studied using a narrative approach. To achieve the purpose, the study is focused on what participants describe as the factors underlying the onset of the disease, the factors that participants describe maintained their eating disorders, as well as what is described to be the factors responsible for their recovery. By my interpretation of the stories, I have been able to identify common factors that all participants describe to be influential in their disease course.

Detta är en kvalitativ studie som syftar till att undersöka hur individer som inte är födda i Sverige, upplever att det är att leva i landet samt hur identiteten påverkats av flytten till det nya landet. Tidigare forskning visar på att trots att vi haft en flyktinginvandring i 40 års tid så har integrationen inte fungerat fullt så bra som den borde, vilket var en bidragande faktor till vårt intresse kring ämnet.Vi har intervjuat tolv personer som vi ansett vara ?lämpliga? informanter då dessa behärskat det svenska språket samt haft ett annat ursprung än svenskt. De frågeställningar som har använts är: - Hur upplever de invandrare vi intervjuat att det är att leva i Sverige? Positivt eller negativt? ? Hur ser en invandrare i Sverige på sin egen identitet? - Förändras upplevelsen av en persons identitet vid en flytt till ett annat land? - Vilka processer uppstår för en individ vid en invandring till ett nytt land? För vår datainsamling har vi använt oss utav den kvalitativa forskningsintervjun som syftar till att förstå den intervjuades upplevelse av fenomenet.

Svenska företag ligger ungefär tre år efter sina brittiska och amerikanska kollegor vad gäller att köpa IT tjänster från Indien.Capgemini är ett globalt IT tjänsteleverantörsbolag som idag producerar en stor del av sina IT tjänster i Indien. Men bara en liten del av deras produktion i Indien riktar sig mot den svenska marknaden. Capgemini undrar vad det beror på. Syftet med studien var att undersöka svenska hamnars möjlighet att investera i land­strömsteknik och sedan betala tillbaka investeringen genom försäljning av elektricitet till ankommande fartyg. Studien är en systematisk litteraturöversikt baserad på en sys­tematisk litteratursökning som sedan presenteras i en teoretisk fallstudie. Litteraturöversikten utgår från fem studier som beskriver kostnader gällande utbyggnad av landströmsteknik. Första delen av resultatet består av beräkningar för vad investeringskostnaderna för utbyggnad av landströmsteknik till en enstaka kaj kan uppskattas till. Därefter beräk­nades kostnader för att generera en viss mängd elektricitet ombord och jämfördes med kostnaden för att köpa den från marknätet. Sedermera beräknades en vinstmarginal om elektriciteten säljs för samma pris som den kostat om den genererats ombord i dieselgenerator.

Private religion is a faith that isn?t practiced in an organised religious community. Many people do not want to accept a religious concept that is already defined. To choose a conception of faith based upon personal preferences fits some modern man better. The purpose of this thesis is to examine if it?s possible to create a personal religion and how such a process looks.

Purpose/Aim: To describe likenesses and differences between the personal identity of the common Kalmar nation member and the collective identity of the organization Kalmar nation as described by said members.Material/Method: Collecting data through a quantitative survey, where the members answer questions about themselves and Kalmar nation, and subsequent analysis of said data by means of theories about personal, collective, and brand identity.Main results: After analyzing the data from the survey I conclude that there exists both likenesses and differences between the organization and its members. Some likenesses are more pronounced than others, and the same can be said for the differences. However, within the three areas of study (specific identity traits, politics and music) politics and music showed more similarity between the members and the nation than the specific identity traits did. The most interesting aspect of the analysis show that the members have quite a common view of the organization despite their own widely different descriptions of themselves..

This study was made to compare construction companies for gardens way to work with up following, with purpose to see if there was an efficient and not resource demanded system which gave much value. To achieve the purpose a case study was made. The delimitation for the case study was only to compare the work with up following on individual project. The delimitation on the companies in the study was from ten to sixty employees. That because to reach companies were it´s not the same person how calculates on tenders and than perform the projects. The study was delimitated to the west side of Skåne. T o be able to compare the companies and to find trends, an interviewguide was made and was used during the interviews with the companies.
