For states it is important that the transfer pricing is correct to defend their tax base. Incorrect transfer pricing can also have dire effect on the enterprises. They run the risk of both double taxation and tax penalties. Some of the most difficult assets to put a transfer price on are intangibles.

This thesis will show you how to build and construct a interactive website with a web shop and a web based administration system. The website is developed for a company called Varett. Varett will use the website to reach out for a larger group of customers and also for promoting new products. I have develop this site mainly using ASP, MS Access and HTML. I have also developed a graphic profile for the company to use at the homepage and at other commercial products.

AstraZeneca undersöker fördelarna med att kunna ombilda en del av sin verksamhet till ett Europabolag. För att kunna bilda ett Europabolag måste dock AstraZeneca AB göra en del koncerninterna förvärv. Syftet med denna uppsats är att undersöka hur dessa koncerninterna omstruktureringar kommer att gå till samt att se hur eventuella övervärden som uppkommer genom förvärven skulle kunna påverka AstraZeneca AB och hela AstraZeneca plc´s koncernredovisning.

I?ve chosen primary to analyze commercial form of advertising by world leading companies; McDonald?s, Coca-Cola and HP due to their implementation of global advertising. The fourth campaign that?s being analyzed is not of commercial type instead it?s characterized as an informative campaign that the ideal organization Amnesty is carring out.  The study has been successful in gathering data that could be presented in correlation with already established theories and then comparing the results. The goal of the research is to create an understanding regarding global advertising as well as the scientific debate that?s going on within the subject.

This master thesis encompasses an inventory and risk classification of four disused landfills within the municipality of Uppsala, Sweden. The model of the classification; ?Method of Surveying Contaminated Sites? is developed by the Environmental Protection Agency and can be used as a framework to investigate and describe the environmental damage and the level of risk for each object. The risk classification model has a rating from 1 to 4, where 1 represents a very high risk while 4 is a small risk. Risk class depends largely on the type of land use that exists on the object, and hence, various benchmarks must be taken into account.

Syftet med studien är att belysa frivillighetsorganisationers arbete med hemlöshet i Sverige, Polen och Kanada genom att, utföra en komparativ analys av deras tillvägagångsätt och metoder i relation till olika välfärdskontexter. Studien insamling av primärdata är gjord genom semistrukturerade intervjuer med tre nyckelrespondenter från respektive land. Intervjufrågorna är framtagna utifrån det syfte och frågeställningar som genomsyrar studien och för att få fram frivillighetsorganisationernas egna upplevelser om relationen till hemlöshet och välfärdsstaten. Materialet analyserades därefter utifrån en historisk och traditionell komparation av organisationernas ökade utrymme i den tillbakadragande välfärdsstaten. Slutsatsen i denna studie är att frivillighetsorganisationerna bör kräva mer utrymme i samhället, främst i Sverige och Polen.

The following thesis is a study of the forest history on the island of Ängsön-Marskär concentrating on the last three hundred years. The island is located in the administrative province of Stockholm, the local community of Haninge and it is situated approximately seven kilometres east of the island Ornö in the south of the Stockholm archipelago. The questions this thesis attempts to answer are: How where the natural resources on Ängsön-Marskär used through the centuries? How has the state of the forests developed since the 16th century? How will the nature develop onwards? The thesis is based on archival sources for Ängsön-Marskär and the surrounding areas. A field study was conducted where the entire island was investigated using an objective forest inventory method. The first map material existing over Ängsön-Marskär is from the year 1711.

The purpose of this report is to increase the awareness about the problem that occur when the waste hierarchy is applied to management of contaminated land. The work with remediation of contaminated land in Sweden is part of the efforts towards reaching the national environmental objectives. Therefore a subsidiary aim is to analyze how this influences the prospects of reaching the objectives. The work consists of two parts; a case study and a comparative literature study that focus on England, the Netherlands and Sweden. The case study is intended to provide a practical perspective through a comparison of the climate impact from two methods.

Förhållandet mellan handel och miljö är kontroversiellt inom The World Trade Organization (WTO) och arbetet på området präglas av motsättningar. WTO-kritiker har pekat på ett antal tvister inom WTO där WTO:s tvistlösningsorgan beslutat till nackdel för det land som har infört handelshindrande åtgärder för att skydda miljön. Utfallet kan tolkas som att miljöintresset förlorade mot handelsintresset. Det är dock tveksamt om man kan dra några slutsatser enbart genom att se till utfallet. Denna uppsats syftar till att bringa mera klarhet i hur WTO-reglerna balanserar frihandelsintresset mot miljöintresset.

This essay discusses the Laholm?s bay and its eutrofication problems. The question of issue is: Have the efforts to limit the eutrofication in the Laholm?s bay been effective? What is the local actor?s opinion whether the measures have been effective or not? What efforts have been made to prevent the leakage of nutrients from fields and forestland? The Laholm's bay is located in the south part of the Swedish west coast. The problem was noticed in the 1960´s by local fishermen that experienced a lack of catch.

Internationella företag världen över väljer att i allt större utsträckning förlägga sin forskning och utveckling, FoU, utomlands och Sverige är det land där utvecklingen går snabbast. Syftet med uppsatsen är att undersöka vad som förklarar internationaliseringen av FoU, samt vilka möjligheter och utmaningar utvecklingen medför för Sverige. För att besvara detta genomför vi en studie av Sveriges största internationella industrikoncerner. Resultaten tyder på att anpassning till lokal marknad och stöd till produktion är de dominerande motiven, vilket indikerar att verksamhet i utlandet snarare kompletterar än ersätter svensk FoU. Utvecklingen medför dels en möjlighet för Sverige att dra nytta av den kunskap företagen erhåller utomlands, och dels att svenska företag blir mer konkurrenskraftiga på utländska marknader.

This thesis focuses on the construction of drystone walls in the county of Sm?land, as well as their historical value and significance to the county. In Riksantikvarie?mbetets Plattform Kulturhistorisk v?rdering och urval, a directory for historical evaluations of buildings and objects, the first clause is to describe the object and its history. When trying to do this, the lack of literature focusing on the constructional elements of drystone walls and their history became an issue and is what prompted the writing of this thesis. With a study of different handbooks, a compilation of the constructional elements of the walls were put together.

Avsikten med uppsatsen är att undersöka vilka handelseffekter Sveriges inträde i EU 1994 har medfört på handeln av frukt och grönsaker. Vi har även undersökt hur inträdet har påverkat handeln med tredje land. Med hjälp av Trumans metod har vi analyserat frukt och grönsaker på aggregerad samt disaggregerad nivå. Analyserna samt diskussionerna som förs i uppsatsen utgår ifrån handelsomfördelning och handelsalstring, vilka är de två handelseffekter metodens sex olika utfall påvisar. Då vi studerade en tullunions uppkomst och dess konsekvenser på handeln förväntade vi oss en handelsalstring inom unionen samt en handelsomfördelning gentemot tredje land.
