Traditional product features such as price, quality and supply service have been extended and nowadays includes environmental aspects as well. It raises new and increasing demands on haulier companies. The transport sector is responsible for a large part of the pollutants causing today?s environmental problems. The business is being closely monitored and to operate environmental friendly is seen as one of the most important elements for the industry?s future development.

This report is a master thesis performed by Adam Lundin at the company Sandvik Coromants production facility in Gimo. The work started in January 2013 and went on for the duration of 20 weeks, which is equivalent to 30 hp. The project was executed at the department GVR10. The scope of the project was to create a base for improvements in the purchasing process of direct material to the production. The background to the project was that the centralized purchasing department has gone through changes and decision was taken to decentralize the purchasing of direct material to Gimo.

De omvårdnadsåtgärder som utförs är inte evidensbaserade i samma utsträckning som den medicinska behandlingen. Det som är ?naturligt? för en sjuksköterska att utföra som omvårdnadsåtgärd, är inte alltid naturligt för en annan. Syfte Syftet med denna litteraturstudie var att belysa de omvårdnadsåtgärder som vidtas för att förebygga eller behandla postoperativt illamående och kräkningar, samt vilken effekt dessa åtgärder har ur ett omvårdnadsperspektiv.

Syfte: Syftet med denna uppsats är att ta reda på i vilken omfattning kooperativ och ideella organisationer använder sig av social redovisning. Vi vill undersöka hur och varför de redovisar det sociala ansvarstagandet och om de använder sig av riktlinjer, rekommendationer eller andra verktyg i arbetet med den sociala redovisningen. Metod: Studien har utförts med hjälp av en kvalitativ metod då vi ansåg detta vara en lämplig ansats med tanke på de många ?mjuka? variabler som finns i den sociala redovisningen. Två personliga intervjuer har genomförts med respondenter från Basta respektive Barncancerfonden. Informationen vi erhållit har sammanställts och jämförts för att sedan kopplas till teoristudierna.

Sweden is one of five nations in the world manufacturing fighter aircrafts. Highly advanced technology is needed in order to develop a fighter aircraft. When developing advanced technology, new applications, other than those initially intended occur, spin-off. Some of Sweden?s largest companies are spin-offs from the fighter aircraft industry.

We are heading towards a huge switch of how energy is produced with fossil fuels being replaced by renewable energy sources. It is not difficult to replace the energy you use in the house and there is no need for futuristic technology. There are already many established products on the market such as high efficiency vacuum solar collectors, heat pumps & small wind power stations that can supply the energy being used in a house. The company Sol & Energiteknik SE AB in Huskvarna has many different products which can reduce the need for an outside energy distributor. An average house in Sweden uses 15 000 kWh for heating, 5000 kWh for tap water and 5000 kWh for electricity.

In a dynamic and unpredictable reality, either rigid structures or silo architectures areappropriate ways to organize an agile organization. This thesis enlightens these relationsbetween Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) and an organization who acts in a varied andconstantly changing business environment. In other words, this thesis enlightens the question:?How suitable is SOA to organize the enterprise who will meet a constantly changing andheterogenic business environment?.The thesis presents a model where an efficient organization must be agile to be able to actquickly in the business environments with constantly changing desires, needs, expectations,desires etc. According to the same model a Service Oriented Architecture organizes theenterprise elements such as processes, resources, competences, responsibilities, informationsystems etc.

Södra is a Co-operative of private forest owner organisation which is owned by 35 000 private forest owers in southern Sweden. Forest owners in Sweden can choose to certify their Forestry. Södra uses PEFC (Programme for the Endorsement of Forest Certification Schemes) as their certification scheme for their members. Those who choose to certify their forest are obligated to follow the demands for forestry which PEFC requires. A ?Green? forestry plan is another important tool in the ambition to reach a sustainable forestry.

This essay has been made on behalf of the Co-operative society Mäster Grön, which is selling ornamental plants to retailers in Sweden. The aim of this study has been to find out what added value Mäster Grön gets from their co-branding with the Swedish Seal of quality. The main topic of discussion was; how much value added does this co-branding give to Mäster Gröns pot plants? Are there differences from a customer point of view in value added between a garden center and a retail store? How much weight does the costumer put on the branding when buying a plant? Does the customer know what the values of Mäster Grön and Swedish Seal of quality mean? Two questions of lesser worth were asked to the consumers about what they thought about the protective plastic around the plant, and if they were interested in getting more information about the origin as well as the method of production of the plant. The study was divided into two parts, one in which customers were observed and one where the customers answered a survey.

Syftet med denna uppsats är att med användande av Resource-Based Theory fastställa hur mejeriföretag kan koordinera sitt resursutnyttjande via stategiska allianser så att de kan stärka sina marknadspositioner på sina hemmamarknader. Bakgrunden är de förändringar som sker inom den svenska mejeribranschen, och det samarbete som diskuteras mellan Milko, Valio och Skånemejerier. Svenska mejeriföretag har på senare tid märkt av en allt hårdnande konkurrens på sina hemmamarknader, den europeiska marknaden och världsmarknaden. Dagligvarukedjornas ökande antal egna märkesvaror samt inträdet av lågprismjölk ändrar maktbalansen mellan kedjorna och livsmedelsindustrin. Internationalisering av produktion och försäljning är därför många gånger nödvändigt för dessa företag i syfte att stärka konkurrensförmågan. Detta medför att mejeriföretagen måste vara mer flexibla för att klara sig under de allt mer dynamiska förhållandena.

Bakgrund: Patienter som ska genomgå elektiva operationer kan uppleva preoperativ oro och ångest. Preoperativ oro kan grundas i bristande information, tanken på att mista kontrollen samt vistelse i okänd miljö. Det vilar ett stort ansvar på sjuksköterskan då hon ska möjliggöra optimal delaktighet i vård och behandling för patienten samt uppmärksamma patienter som inte själva uttrycker ett omvårdnadsbehov. Syfte: Att sammanställa kunskap om vilka omvårdnadsåtgärder som kan minska patienters preoperativa oro vid elektiva operationer. Metod: Litteraturstudie, baserad på två kvalitativa och åtta kvantitativa artiklar.

Parallellt med en stark tillväxt av lantbruket i EUs nya medlemsstater har, sedan halvtidsöversynen av den gemensamma jordbrukspolitiken, marknaden för insatsvaror stagnerat i Sverige. I Danmark kan skönjas en liknande utveckling bland annat genom en allt mer reglerad marknad för exempelvis handelsgödsel. Dessutom sker en kraftig strukturrationalisering hos tillverkarna av lantbruksförnödenheter. Den största aktören på den svenska marknaden för insatsvaror till lantbruket är Lantmännen ek för. Motsvarande aktör på den danska marknaden är Dansk Landbrugs Grovvaresellskab a.m.b.a (DLG). Båda företagen är kooperativt ägda av lantbrukare i respektive land.

In many European countries there is an increasing concern about the occasionally high concentrations of nitrate and pesticides in drinking water. The advent of the EU Water Framework Directive particularly highlights this. The directive states that all large drinking water sources should be identified and protected from pollution before 2009 and that by 2015 all water bodies should reach a 'good status'. In Sweden about 60 percent of the drinking water sources have protection areas. This means that about 700 new water protection areas need to be designated before 2009. This will affect many farmers, restricting their farming practices. The purpose of this study was to investigate which methods are used in other countries concerning nitrate and pesticide pollution from agriculture. From this, the expectation was to generate ideas on what could be undertaken in Sweden when designating new protection areas.

In 1993 Sweden introduced a new Forest policy, with a larger freedom of action for the forest owners, but in the same time the forest owners are expected to take greater consideration of the forests and the environment, that is required by the law. This is necessary to be able to obtain the goals of the new policy. Therefore the demand for competence and guidance is larger than before. At the same period of time organisations where slimmed and trimmed during a economic recession and the question is how this has affected the number of employees on different levels in the organisations, the competence of the employees and their internal education and if these changes affects the possibility of implementing the forest policy. This study contains three points in time where measures were made, 1990, 1995 and 2000.

SUMMARY Several studies have shown that weaning pigs are in great need of heat. The reason for this is mainly because the pigs are given very little feed just after weaning. Some of the pig producers of today have tried to get along with these problems by building some kind of hut for the pigs. Some of these pig houses have been included in this study.The study has shown shortcoming functions for the pig cottage. The expected heat increase has not occurred.
