Bakgrund och problem: Goodwillpostens behandling i redovisningen är ett ämne som diskuterasflitigt i branschrelaterad litteratur. Problemet är att bolag i olika grad identifierar immateriellatillgångar, en skillnad som får följder för om värdet skrivs av eller nedskrivningsprövas. Dånedskrivning i litteraturen anses medföra högre resultat kan underlåtelse att redovisa immateriellatillgångar användas i syfte att påverka resultatet. Denna resultatpåverkan kan även utnyttjas som ettmedel för att gynna företagsledare i samband med särskilda situationer i företaget.Syfte: Syfte med studien är att se huruvida de studerade bolagens redovisade resultat påverkas avatt företaget har identifierat samtliga immateriella tillgångar som ingår i goodwillposten, vilkaskrivs av över en bestämd nyttjandeperiod, jämfört med nuläget att posten nedskrivningsprövas.Givet att resultaten skiljer sig åt undersöks om indikationer på resultatmanipulering finns i detempiriska materialet.Avgränsningar: Studien omfattar de bolag, inom branschen för konsumenttjänster, som vidstudiens tidpunkt var noterade på någon av listorna Small Cap, Mid Cap eller Large Cap på NasdaqOMX Stockholm. De år som studeras är 2008-2013.Metod: Materialet som studeras är huvudsakligen inhämtat från årsredovisningar tillhörande deföretag som ingår.

In Sweden today many municipalities and sport clubs chooses to build artificial turfs becauseof the increased period of using the turfs during the year and less maintenance requirementsthan for natural grass fields. What could be problematic with artificial turfs is the rubbergranules used as infill material in the turf matt. The rubber granules are often made fromrecycled tires, which may contain for the human health and the environment, harmful substances.This was the reason why the Swedish Chemicals Agency commissioned a statusreport in 2006 which, among other things, concluded that the environmental and health risksassociated with granules made from recycled tiers in artificial turf fields were small, but thatthere could be a local environmental hazard. The purpose and objective of the risk assessmentwas to identify how artificial turf plans granules can affect recipients in the area closeto the pitches and provide input to reduce the spread of metals and substances harmful forboth human health and the surrounding environment. The work was divided into three parts:(1) the construction of artificial turf pitches and their material content, the spread of granulatesoutside the fields and disposal of artificial turf pitches.

The aim was also to test the method's applicability by using the municipality of Uppsala and the Uppsala climate protocol project in a case study. Uppsala climate protocol is a project consisting of participants from business, government and organizations that voluntarily want to commit to reducing their carbon footprint by reducing their energy use and thus work to achieve the municipality's overall climate goal. Public reporting of energy use and climate impact has been studied in order to examine the nature of indicators and accounting figures that are commonly used in the field and how long-term forecasts are formulated. In connection to this, the type and sources for the kind of data needed was also examined.

During 40 years of industrial production, from the end of the 1890?s until the end of 1930?s, coal and wood distillation products were manufactured in AB Carbo?s tar factory along the River Gimån in Grötingen, in the county of Jämtland, Sweden. In accordance with the Swedish Environmental Protection Agency?s Methods for Inventories of contaminated sites, MIFO, the site in Grötingen has been identified as a potentially contaminated site. In order to determine whether toxic substances pose a threat to human health and ecological systems in the area, there was a need to investigate the presence of contaminants, their levels and potential for migration.

The plants in the genus Elatine are characteristic for oligo and mesotrophic lakes. This study focuses on Elatine hexandra one of the four species in Sweden. In the Swedish market, there is a wide selection of herbs as supplement to the horse´s feed. A trend today is that many companies are marketing herbal remedies with allegations of medical effects. If you want to sell the product for that purpose it must be verified and approved as drug or natural remedy by the Medical Products Agency. Some herbs may contain active substances. Nevertheless, only a few studies have been conducted on single herbs to investigate safe doses for horses.

The fungus Gremmeniella abietina causes damage to conifers that can lead to tree death. In 1999 and 2001 the pathogen caused severe attacks in Sweden, where about 500 000 ha of pine forest were affected. Trees of all ages were attacked, but mainly forests between 30-60 years that were ready for their first commercial thinning. After recommendations from the forest agency, sanitary fellings were made to trees that had more needle loss than 85%, a total of about 50 000 ha. Economic losses have been estimated to more than one billion SEK.
