Det kan förefalla som att Human Resources (HR) arbetet under de senaste decennium har gått in i en ny epok. Inom HR arbetets forskning handlar det nästan uteslutande om det strategiska HR arbetet eller om koppling till det. Och detsamma verkar det gälla större organisationer som söker efter olika sätt att organisera sitt HR arbete till att det skall bli mer strategiskt. Med det strategiska arbetet avses på en övergripande nivå att integrera personalfrågorna mer med företagets strategier i strävan efter att uppnå organisationens mest optimala resultat. I samband med förändringsprocessen och vid implementeringen av det strategiska HR arbetet påverkas ett flertal olika aktörer inom organisationen.Syftet med denna studie har varit att undersöka vad en strategisk HR Business Partner (HRBP) roll innefattar.

This Masters Thesis includes a survey of recreational habits and the attitudes towards forests of the people of Sätra, a suburb of the city of Gävle. The study also includes the planning and design of a forest suited for education in the same part of the city. The thesis is a part of a project called Tätortsnära skog, commissioned by the Swedish forest agency. The project aims to survey the recreational habits of the general public in the regions of Dalarna and Gävleborg. Tätortsnära skog is focused on cities with a population of more than 20 000 inhabitants, of which Gävle, Sandviken, Falun and Borlänge all fall within the category.

Under de senaste två till tre årtionden har vårdpersonalen som möter barnfamiljer börjat uppmärksamma att pappan har en egen och självständig roll till sitt barn och i familjens liv.I följande kvalitativa studie får vi ta del av några förstagångspappors erfarenheter av hur deras delaktighet har varit under graviditeten, under förlossning och BB-tiden samt under den första tiden tillsammans med sitt barn. De berättar också om hur deras erfarenheter av stöd har varit under samma tid, ifrån såväl deras personliga som det professionella nätverket. Det visar sig att dessa pappor har varit engagerade tillsammans med sin partner ifrån allra första tiden av graviditeten. De har deltagit i förberedelserna hemma, vid besök hos barnmorskan och vid föräldrautbildningen och de har varit med sitt barn till BvC.Papporna har medvetet prioriterat tid tillsammans med sitt barn och familjen och varit angelägna om att lära känna sitt barn och delta i omsorgen och skötseln på ett självständigt sätt. Samspelet med sin partner har byggt på ömsesidig respekt vilket har inneburit att papporna har haft förmågan att både ta aktiv del i skötsel och omsorg, men också funnits där som ett stöd till sin partner, allt utifrån barnets behov.Det framkommer i studien att papporna har uppskattat stödet ifrån mor-och farföräldrar och syskon när stödet har anpassats och utgått ifrån deras behov. Även stödet ifrån vänner som själva har barn har också haft stor betydelse.Dessa pappors erfarenhet av stöd ifrån det professionella nätverket har varit mycket positivt, bortsett från BB-tiden där de saknade information, praktiskt stöd och bra bemötande.

A questionnaire has been sent out to sawmills in the region Dalarna with the purpose of finding out if sawmills receive moose-damaged timber and what they think about how they foresee future development. There were two causes of the moose explosion, that had effects on the moose population. The first cause was that the moose hunters wanted to raise the moose population, and by raising the calf shooting and by saving the cows they succeeded. The second cause was changing methods in Swedish forestry.

Varje år är det cirka 38 000 personer som vårdas för hjärtsjukdom. Personer som genomgått en hjärtinfarkt kan få problem med sina sexuella relationer som en följd av sjukdomen, medicinering eller på grund av ångest. Syfte: att beskriva vanligt förekommande känslor inför sexuellt samliv hos personer med hjärtsjukdom samt beskriva hur sexualrådgivning kan erhållas av vårdpersonalen. Studien genomfördes som en litteraturöversikt. Artiklar söktes i databasen Cinahl samt genom sökmotorn Elin.

The aim of the study was to examine prerequisites for the changes that are taking place within working with Intimate Partner Violence in Västra Hisingen (a municipal district in Gothenburg, Sweden). My research questions concerned incentives for the new features, their practical consequences and prerequisites for implementation. The study has been performed by three focus group interviews with different parts of the organization represented. The work material has then been analyzed using Implementation Theory, Human Service Organization Theory and theories on breaking up. The study showed that all respondents were motivated to perform the changes, but also that there were significant differences between the groups? conceptions of what implementation demands, and of the organizational support today.

The purpose of this thesis is to examine library users experience encountering exposed literature. Shops and stores expose the products they most of all want to sell, a kind of marketing strategy that influences our inclination to buy. By conducting a quantitative study, at two minor public libraries, and using theories from the marketing area this thesis intended to investigate the subject further. Eighty library visitors, between age 10 and XX filled out a questionnaire asking how the users experience or register exposed literature and what makes users borrow or not borrow exposed literature. The respondents find exposed literature helpful in directing them to new interesting suggestions of books they otherwise wouldn?t have borrowed.

Kondomanvändning vid sexuella kontakter har en betydande roll för att hindra utbredningen av sexuellt överförbara sjukdomar. I föreliggande studie har fokus legat på att undersöka högskolestudenters attityder till kondomanvändning. För att finna svar på frågeställningarna genomfördes en enkätundersökning på den utvalda högskolan. Totalt deltog 287 studenter som besvarat enkäten vilken bestod av frågor kring kondomanvändning vid sexuellt umgänge med sin partner samt vid tillfälliga sexuella relationer. Resultatet från enkätundersökningen har sammanställts och analyserats statistiskt.

I dag är cirka 140 000 personer drabbade av demenssjukdom och en stor del av dessa vårdas av sin partner. Att leva med en person drabbad av demenssjukdom innebär en förändrad livssituation och en förändring av den närståendes livsvärld. Livskamrater till personer med demenssjukdom har enligt forskning behov kopplade till sjukdomen och den nya livssituation som sjukdomen medför både för dem själva och för deras partner. För att kunna möta den närståendes behov har sjuksköterskan ett ansvar att skapa en bild av deras upplevelser. Syftet med studien är att belysa närståendes upplevelser och känslor av att leva med en demenssjuk livskamrat.

This essay in historical archaeology deals with cultural-historical values of buildings and inthis case the old train- and ferrystation in Helsingborg. The building has from the day of itsopening in 1898 been exposed to threats of demolition since its original purpose was as atemporary building with intension of being replaced within a couple of years. After havingseen two World Wars, eventhough Sweden never participated, and the ferrytraffic with its upsand downs the station was an important part of Helsingborg. All the ferrytraffic over the straitto Denmark was handeled by the old train- and ferrystation untill 1955, when a competativeferrycompany was built close to the old station. After a hundred years of service the oldstation was closed down when a new station was built i Helsingborg in 1991 with theintension of gathering all travelers in one building.

Learning from traumatic events: a comparative case study of governmental close protection policies in the aftermath of the murder of Olof Palme and Anna LindhViolent and threatful crimes against politicians are as despicable as any other crime acts against citizen. However, if politicians are targeted solely due to their position ? the act can seriously damage the state and central government.This paper compares reports of government commissions and investigations which were initiated after the murder of Swedish prime minister Olof Palme in 1986 and secretary of state Anna Lindh in 2003. The purpose is to analyse and compare the conclusions and distinguish the main arguments that led to those conclusions and decipher similarities and differences through the lens of Tom Christensen?s instrumental perspective as well as Peter May?s social policy learning theory.

Våld mot kvinnor är ett utbrett samhällsproblem som ofta diskuteras i media. För kvinnor som misshandlas av sina män och söker hjälp, finns ett relativt väl utvecklat skyddsnät i form av ett flertal kvinnojourer. I en rapport från Brottsoffermyndigheten redovisas för första gången också männens utsatthet för våld i nära relationer. Rapporten visar att lika många män som kvinnor uppger att de någon gång blivit utsatta för våld av sin partner, dock sker våldet mot kvinnorna oftare, mer systematiskt och de fysiska skadorna blir mer omfattande. Ett av regeringens delmål för jämställdhetspolitiken är att försöka få mäns våld mot kvinnor att upphöra.  Ingenstans i detta uppdrag nämns kvinnors våld mot män.Syftet med vår studie är att lyfta fram och synliggöra ett problem som tidigare fåttbegränsad uppmärksamhet.

The aim of this project is to investigate the meeting between the city and the sea and tolook into how that could be developed and made use of. I want to find out how you can increase the availability of a specific place and make it more welcoming, I also want to bring life to an already existing space and create a central meeting place in the city. The purpose is to give form to an esplanade along a dock in the central parts of Kalmar. Starting with an analysis of this public place, I want to create a concept that is close to the existing context and communicates the contrasts or associations between for example: city and nature, artificial and natural and indoor and outdoor. The primary object of the project is to add a welcoming, public place to the city where you on an accessible way canfamiliarize yourself with the meeting between the city and the sea.

Man has through out times and in all cultures shaped their bodies to the existing bodily ideals. Men's bodily ideals had changed over the last thirty years to a more muscular, less bodyfat and more V-shaped body. Men and women focus their attention to different body parts. That is why there is a need for a questionnaire witch is specially designed for men. The purpose of this study was to deliniate the body image of men aged 20 to 30 years and to test the reliability of the questionnaire "Mäns kroppsuppfattning".
