Students at Jönköping School of Engineering were given an assignment from Jönköping municipality, to evaluate their decision support system, QlikView. The students have also developed proposals for improvement with focus on usability.The Jönköpings municipality has currently got 11000 employees and consists of nine different administrations. The target group for QlikView is approximately 600 first-line managers.The intention of QlikView is that the users can get an overall picture of their business by having all information in just one system.The purpose of the thesis is to obtain a picture of what the users think about the system today and present relevant suggestions for improvement, which the Jönköping municipality can use when the introduction of the new version of QlikView takes place. The research questions that the study aims to answer are:? Has QlikView got a user friendly interface?? The aim of our study was to examine the oral health status using an oral assessment guide, ROAG, among elderly people in a block of service. Another aim was to evaluate the elderlys perception of there own oral health using a questionnaire. The study were undertaken at a ward in Kristianstad, with 39 caretakers. 21 caretakers participated in the study. The assessment of the oral health status was done on the same individuals (n=21) who answered the questions in the questionnaire.

For the company to work well, it is necessary with a good economy, a high qualitative production and a well working system concerning the environment: the whole cycle on the farm needs to be working. At the same time, debaters about the environmental impacts are also requiring higher demands for the dairy farmers and therefore also the management programs. Management programs for feed evaluation calculations have been more developed over the years. Big amounts have been invested in the new feeding system with NorFor, but no one seems to have asked the dairy farmers what they themselves want to spend their money on, and what they need help with. For the dairy farmers it is necessary that the whole company is controlled in the right way, and much more than just feed evaluation is included in this.

The purpose of this paper was to study how the death is described in some books for children and how the books may affect the readers. I chose five books where the leading character was a child who lost a close relative like a parent or a sibling. I asked the book questions like you would do at an interwiew.The main questions were:· What do the children think about the death?· How does the child react when it finds out that a parent or a sibling is dead?· What does the child think about seeing the dead person and how does it react at the funeral?· From what or whom do they find the strength to move on?· What support does the child have from people in the surroundings?· How may the books affect the readers?The results showed that the books give you an image close to the reality. The children had different ways to mourn.

Context: In cooperation with ICA, we chose to investigate how much the auditory and visual stimuli in combination affects consumer behavior in grocery store. There are few studies in the area, which gives good practical and theoretical implications.Research question: How much influenced consumers' purchasing, movement and inspection behavior during exposure to auditory and visual stimuli in the fruit and vegetable department of a grocery store?Purpose: The purpose of this paper is to describe and analyze how much the auditory and visual stimuli affect consumer behavior in the grocery store. We do this through a quantitative experiment of our partner?s fruit and vegetable section, where we observe customer behavior in stores.

In this thesis we focus on the issue of crowdfunding and especially how a project relates to and embraces its community. While a lot of related research focus on what makes people give, our research instead delve into whether a creator looks upon the sponsors as something more than just a financial resource. To manage this task we used a triangular perspective consisting of a case study, a questionnaire and a netnographic study. The goal was to gain the perspectives of creators, crowdfunding platforms and sponsors on how the communication between the community and the project works and can be improved.       The three crowdfunding platforms we reviewed (Kickstarter, IndieGoGo, Rockethub) all had fairly similar models on how to attract sponsors and make them involved in the project, while the questionnaire and netnographic study demonstrated how a community could contribute in different ways.

Habituation to an automatic milking system (AMS) for cows in their first lactation differs from habituation to other milking systems. In AMS the cows are supposed to visit the milking station (MS) voluntarily. The milking takes place individually during the whole day, except when the milking system is cleaned. Milking is carried out without any human survey. The aim of the study was to describe the cow?s introduction in AMS in their first lactation.

The Civil Engineering office in Skellefteå needs to develop the users' participation in the planning of parks and playgrounds. In order to get such a procedure to work one have to find a method that can work in the daily activity. My work aims to find such a method and to implement it in practice. Apart from helping the Parks departement to find an functional method I will also develop a deepened knowledge about users?participation wich can be very useful i my future profession. This work can be divided in three stages.

Denna studie ville ta reda på om intagna med partner eller barn harett bättre välbefinnande, jämfört med intagna utan partner eller barn.Andra syftet var att ta reda på om god kvalité i familjerelationernager ett förbättrat välbefinnande. Tidigare studier visar att socialt stödi förhållanden kan motverka stress, det kan hjälpa människor ochförbättra personens hälsa och välbefinnande. Ett tredje syfte var att tareda på om det finns ett samband mellan välbefinnandet och de trecopingstrategierna, problemlösning, informationssökning ochflyktbeteende. Tidigare undersökningar visar att copingstrategier ären skyddande faktor mot ohälsa och är relaterat till välbefinnandet.Studien baseras på en enkätundersökning, där 58 män på en slutenanstalt deltog. Resultat visade att det inte fanns signifikanta effekterpå välbefinnandet av partnerskap och föräldraskap, i de fall det fannsen god kvalité i familjerelationen uppnåddes ett förbättratvälbefinnande.

Syftet med studien var att undersöka vad som får män som brukar våld mot sin kvinnliga partner att motivera sig att få professionell hjälp, samt att påbörja och fortsätta ett förändringsarbete. De frågeställningar som använts handlade om hur männen hittar motivation, vad som gör att de vill förändras, vad i den professionella relationen de tycker är positivt respektive negativt för förändring samt vad i deras övriga tillvaro som hindrar eller främjar förändring. För detta användes en kvalitativ metod som bestod av halvstrukturerade intervjuer med tre män som gick i ett behandlingsprogram via frivården efter att ha utövat våld i nära relation. Det insamlade materialet strukturerades upp i teman som var centrala i männens berättelser och som kunde kopplas till syftet. Resultatet analyserades med hjälp av ett ekologiskt systemteoriperspektiv samt begrepp från generell systemteori och socialpsykologi.

Bakgrund: Stroke är västvärldens tredje vanligaste dödsorsak. Varje år får ungefär 30 000 människor stroke i Sverige. När någon insjuknat i stroke berörs även deras partner. Syftet med studien var att belysa hur partnern till den som insjuknat i stroke upplevde sin livssituation utifrån väsentlig litteratur. Metod: I studien användes latent innehållsanalys som analysmetod för de kvalitativa artiklarna som var inspirerad av Graneheim och Lundman (2003).

Today's urban centers become denser, which contributes to higher demands on sound and noise. It is therefore highly relevant to build homes with good sound environment while maintaining living space. This thesis aimed to reduce the current concrete walls and see how the mass law affects the reduction index value and flanking transmissions. Handmade calculations were calculated according to the Swedish standard SS-EN 21354-1, where only air sound was calculated.Calculations we­­­re performed on wall elements with different weights and thicknesses, and compared with results from Bastian.In Bastian calculations of flanking transmissions were also made, this was made to see the impact of the flanking transmission when changing the mass per unit area. Mass law's impact was examined by flanking transmission and the result shows that they are not affected as long as the ratio between the thickness and the density remains the same.A questionnaire survey was conducted to determine the actual sound experience; this questionnaire was conducted on three concrete buildings in Växjö.

We are two students at Malmö Högskola, writing our final essay for obtain our teacher diplomas. On our partner schools, we have been facing but little information about how to invite the parents to collaborate with the school. Our thought is that the schoolwork is favorable to the pupils if both school and home are working together side by side. Therefore, we decided to dig deeper into this matter of how one particular school is working with parental collaboration, to be able to see if their method is useful. This particular school is offering studies in a course form so called family class. Here the pupils can get extra help from remedial teachers and their parents are also invited.
