This study has the purpose of looking at the current and future position of record labels from a context involving the technological developments, while the opportunities for the artists are changing. As the actors inside them music industry find themselves in an ever changing climate where traditional supply chains are threatened by new technology, the record labels need to change the way they work in order to maintain their existence in the music industry. The study has been conducted by interviewing a number of people involved in the music industry, by using a qualitative method approach. The conclusion of the study shows that the traditional way of doing business by treating music as a product that makes revenue is gone. Instead the labels have to take on new roles formerly run by third parties in order to survive and be profitable, especially since artists can now in control of activities that used to be controlled by the record label..

In the Swedish governing document for the mandatory school (Lpo94) it is laid down that The school shall strive for being a living social community that gives safety and the will and desire to learn. The social community and the social relations in the school everyday existence are thereby without hesitation very important for the students' learning. The teacher always wants to engage the students and create order, comfort and a good work environment. In this essay, the relationship between students' work climates, matter interests and average grades is studied. This gives understanding and awareness in these important parts of the schools´ daily activity.

Syftet med denna studie var att se om ljus respektive mörk väggfärg hade någon inverkan på affekt och minnesprestation samt hur väggfärgen upplevdes/skattades. Ett experiment med en 2 (färg) x 2 (kön) mellanpersonsdesign genomfördes där 34 försökspersoner (20 män och 14 kvinnor) deltog. Resultatet visade att den ljusblå väggfärgen skattades som ljusare och skrikigare, jämfört med den mörkgrå väggfärgen som skattades som mörkare och diskretare. Inga signifikanta könsskillnader påvisades och inga signifikanta effekter av väggfärg på affekt och minnesprestation erhölls. Resultaten visade dock att försökspersonerna återhämtade sig emotionellt över tid samt att minnesprestationen samvarierade med affekt..

Abstract The goal of the study was to conduct an in-depth investigation of how conflicts are resolved in schools, from a pupil- and a teacher perspective. Our intention was to view and compare pupils and teachers different opinions in the school environment. A major focus was put on different ways teacher handle conflicts and how they try to prevent them. The material was acquired by interviews with both teachers and pupils. The study is based on Jean Piagets and Lev Vygotskijs visions about the cognitive developmental stage for children. The result of the study shows the teachers need to be attentive and also that the pupils generally do not notice when the teacher works to prevent conflicts.

The Swedish building and property management sector are responsible for about 30 % of the total energy use. In order to take environmental consideration, different environmental assessment tools and standards are used. Miljo?byggnad, Svanen, FEBY12 and PHI are some of these. There has been increased interest to certify buildings and therefore it is of interest to evaluate the assessment of the energy field to see if relevant energy aspects are assessed.

I en allt mer föränderlig omgivning utgör innovation ett nödvändigt redskap. Syftet med denna studie är att undersöka om arbetskrav och arbetskontroll samt interaktionen dem emellan har en betydelse för ettgruppklimat som främjar innovation. Arbetskrav och arbetskontroll definieras i denna studie utifrån Karaseks teori om krav- och kontrollmodellen. Innovation definieras utifrån Wests teori om de fyra gruppklimatfaktorerna som främjar innovation. Resultatet baseras på en enkätundersökning med 83 respondenter fördelade på 20 arbetsgrupper inom den privata sektorn.

Vi har under vår verksamhetsförlagda utbildning, utifrån egna erfarenheter och genom att läsa forskning fått en förståelse för att barns föreställningar om naturvetenskapliga fenomen inte stämmer överens med verkligheten. Det har också gett oss en uppfattning om att det saknas läromedel inom astronomi för barn i de yngre åldrarna. Grundat utifrån detta valde vi att utveckla ett läromedel inom astronomi.Läromedlet är tänkt att vara lättillgängligt och lättanvänt för lärare, samt att läromedlet ska uppfylla ett av de centrala kraven i Lgr 11 för årskurs 1 till 3 inom naturvetenskap: ?Jordens, solens och månens rörelser i förhållande till varandra. Månens olika faser?.För att kunna ta reda på vad ett bra läromedel är och på så sätt få tips till vårt eget så genomfördes en enkät på våra partnerskolor.

Om man vill skapa ett realistiskt hav inom Computer Graphics är det viktigt att man har snygga övergångar till andra material. Ett exempel på detta är stränder och det är precis där fokusen på den här studien har legat. Studien gick ut på att hitta en enklare lösning på att visuellt förbättra stränder inom Computer Graphics. För att göra detta så testade två olika metoder i olika experiment. Den ena tekniken som testades var att simulera partiklar för att få fram en bättre strandlinje och de andra var att skapa en shader för att förbättra den.

AbstractThe purpose of the study was to examine if manual signs used as support to spoken and written language can be a god mnemonic for learning of word-pictures. I performed my study as an experiment in which I made a Memory game with word-pictures. I played the game with the children twice. The first time, we played without manual signs and the second time I used sign as a support. I observed the children and noted the words they learned to read with and without the support of manual signs.

För att undersöka resursallokering av processresurser vid informations-bearbetning av hotstimuli har ett ?Dual Task? experiment utförts med spindelrädda försöksdeltagare. Uppgiften bestod av att respondera på olika probe-stimuli som exponerades, direkt på bilder av olika djur (däribland spindlar), med olika tidsintervall. Latens och träffsäkerhet mättes, för ett mått på prestation, och EKG användes för att kontrollera att spindel-bilderna faktiskt utlöste rädsloresponser. Resultaten visar att större processresurser allokerades till spindelbilderna jämfört med alla de övriga bildkategorierna, men att denna differentiering inte verkar ske innan en kognitivt kontrollerad bearbetning och utvärdering av stimulus ägt rum.

I dagens samhälle finns det en mängd olika maskiner för att underlätta ardagssysslorna, såsom batteridrivna dammsugare och gräsklippare. Gräsklippardomänen används i detta projekt, för att undersöka vilken av monolitisk och hierarkisk kontrollarkitektur i en batteridriven gräsklippare som har bäst generaliseringsförmåga. Gräsklippardomänen används som testdomän därför att det finns en oändlig mängd olika yt-fromer. Med generalisering menas hur bra gräsklipparen klipper på ytor som den nyligen eller aldrig tränats på. Experiment har utförs på båda kontrollarkitekturerna i en simulator.

Induction motors, often referred to as the workhorse of the industry, play an important role in production today. Therefore, it's important to diagnose any faulty induction motor prior to failure to avoid costly and time consuming production stops.This thesis compares methods for diagnosing induction motors in operation, MCSA, Park's vector approach and the standard method used by Swedish industries today. By simulating broken rotor bars and short-circuit in one of the windings, each method is tested and the results are compared using matlab.The results need further verification due to uncertainties of the condition of the test motor, even though the experiment gives a hint of the different advantages of each method. A combination of the methods should be able to tell if the motor needs further examination..

En router kan i dagsläget bestå av vanlig X86/PC-hårdvara vilket medför att hårdvaran inte är lika låst som den hos vanliga hårdvaruroutrar. Vidare kan dessa X86/PC-routrar köras med öppna programvaror. Många gånger är även dessa programvaror gratis och det gör att dessa mjukvaruroutrar är billiga att införskaffa. Detta arbete har studerat ett urval av tre mjukvaruroutrar för att se ifall det fanns några skillnader mellan dem. Det som undersöktes var prestanda, funktionalitet och support.
