AbstractPresentation of the problem: The goal with this graduation project is to produce a new visual concept for the student newspaper Campus, this will be expressed in the form of page templates. The page templates will have a visual concept that appears through graphical elements. The Client's wishes were that the student newspaper should be audience appropriate, attractive, inviting, reliable, modern and functional to work with.Theory: In order to implement the wishes and in a good way produce a consistent visual concept, we took a starting point in theory of graphic design. This theory has taken many of its principles from aesthetic theory, and therefore have we also used aesthetics to provide a deeper theoretical aspect. The principles we used in graphic design is; how to create a unity in the layout by using basic elements such as text, images, and white space.

This master thesis examines the development of the two earlier independent IR protocols Z39.50 and SR (Search and Retrieve, ISO 10162/10163), now Z39.50/SR, from the beginning of the 80s to 1996 and their functionality in the Client/server environment.Z39.50 applications in library systems will allow easy access to information regardless of platform or location. The use of Z39.50 will create a new user environment. Almost all the library systems of the market support the Z39.50 and surprisingly the use of it in Sweden lied on a very low leve! in 1996. This thesis was followed-up by an interview and a questioner among the Swedish Z39.50 users. They could see a huge potential of development concerning the future IR process.

How canan ATC in Musoma be developed into a stimulatingand educational park suitable for teaching agroforestrymethods to peasant farmers and other potential users?To answer that a field study was conducted to investigatehow our Client Vi Agroforestry Programme (Vi) and thetarget groups of the Client can benefit from the site.The thesis begins with a short explanation of thecontext, in which the ATC plays a part followed by amethodology chapter. Next are three chapters presentedwhich introduce the reader to the research conductedbefore starting the proposal, these include: results ofliterature studies, study of precedents, and results of fieldstudy.

I en arkitektur med tunna klienter körs all programvara centralt från servern, medan med tjocka klienter körs programvaran lokalt på varje enskild klient. I denna uppsats har vi tagit fram teorier om för- och nackdelar med tunna och tjocka klienter och gjort en fallstudie vid Luleå tekniska universitet på en avdelning som nyligen bytt från tjocka till tunna klienter. Utifrån de teorier vi läst och den empiri vi utfört drog vi slutsatsen att tunna klienter oftast passar bättre i arkitekturen än tjocka klienter..

Denna studie undersöker bemanningsanställdas integration inom lagerverksamhet. Tyngdpunkten ligger på att öka kunskapen kring vilka faktorer som påverkar hur bemanningsanställda integreras i tjänsteköpande företag samt fördjupa förståelsen för vilka möjligheter dessa företag har att öka integrationen på ett kostnadseffektivt sätt. Studien närmar sig problemområdet genom att undersöka hur bemanningsanställda inom lagersektorn upplever de faktorer som påverkat integrationen samt deras åsikter om dessa faktorer. Studiens teoretiska referensram baseras på teorier kring organisering, HRM samt sociala och legala begränsningar. Det empiriska materialet baseras på kvalitativa intervjuer.

Förväntningsgapet är sedan länge ett definierat fenomen som kvarstår trots upprepade försök att minska det. En anledning till att gapet kvarstår påstås vara att revisorer själv har introducerat det. Detta i kombination med att förväntningsgapet troligtvis kommer att fortsätta att existera, medför att det finns anledning att undersöka om revisorer kan dra nytta av det i sitt dagliga arbete.Syftet med den här studien är att utifrån revisorers perspektiv undersöka förväntningsgapet och revisorers möjlighet att med hjälp av gapet utöva inflytande över klienter. Undersökningen är baserad på intervjuer med revisorer från olika byråer.Studiens teoretiska referensram är baserad på antaganden från professionsteori för att beskriva revisorers kunskap, vilket är väsentligt för att undersöka om revisorer har ett kunskapsövertag de kan nyttja för att utöva inflytande. I detta avseende presenteras även antaganden från agent-teorin för att beskriva den informationsasymmetri som kan förekomma.

?A culture center should be visually welcoming as well as attract a diverse range of visitors with different backgrounds.? This was the Client?s request for a new cultural center in Nairobi. The location is in the heart of Nairobi?s industrial area, near several existing buildings that are already in use by the culture organization known as Go Down. I have chosen to keep most of the existing buildings and to use my new building as a complement for the desired program.

The starting point for the question at issue has been the Client's experience of their financial situation the reception and expectations towards the social welfare.In our B-level study we carried out qualitative interviews with social welfare officers to find out how they applied the "child perspective" in granting financial support and to what extent they felt that they succeeded in meeting the need of the Client. The conclusion was that there is still room for improvement in this field and particularly a wish to focus more on the child's situation and development. The officers told us that they tried to pay closer attention to the child's situation through asking about the children and by visiting the families at home.They expressed awareness of the importance to a child's well being the financial situation of their family. They also expressed the need for the child to be able to take part in leisure time activities and having an active social life.In this study our research method is based on qualitative interviews.

The title of the study is: "Stories about helpful conversations - a narrative study of active processes in therapy and treatment." The purpose of this study was to examine Clients' stories of what has been helpful to them in therapy / treatment. The study has been made in light of the ongoing discussion in society about the requirements for empirical studies within welfare areas. The choice to make a narrative study comes from the desire to have Clients' own stories at the centre of what has been helpful in the therapeutic process. The author has interviewed and talked with four people (Clients) who told us about their experiences of therapy / treatment. Narrative research methodology is based on people's life stories.
