My research interest in the upcoming paper is the increased need for promotion of schools. I. e. the individual school´s needs to be able to show its existence, in the huge flow and availability of information; schools and universities, study circles, streamed lectures on the Internet, public schools and private schools, different educational directions, et cetera. The schools? needs to market itself, make good PR and sell their pedagogical idea, and that has become increasingly important. My purpose is to clarify how music teachers, in the Swedish primary and secondary school, skills and competences are used in outreach activities within but also outside, the school premises.

Undervisning av barn med koncentrationssvårigheter i vanligt klassrum. En intervjustudie med utgångspunkt i tre lärares livshistoria Gunilla Windahl Sammanfattning Syftet med denna studie är att undersöka hur ?erkänt duktiga? klasslärare anpassar klassrumsmiljö, bemötande och undervisning för barn med koncentrationssvårigheter i grundskolans vanliga klasser. Frågeställningarna var: Anser de intervjuade lärarna att man genom anpassningar av klassrumsmiljön kan underlätta skolgången för barn med koncentrationssvårigheter och vilka är i sådana fall dessa anpassningar av klassrumsmiljön? Anser de intervjuade lärarna att man genom anpassningar av bemötande och i undervisning kan underlätta skolgången för barn med koncentrationssvårigheter och vilka är i sådana fall dessa anpassningar av bemötande och i undervisning? De data som används i denna studie är kvalitativa.

This MSc thesis is divided into two parts. The first part deals with the need for information from forest campartments selected for clear cutting, in connection with planning in an integrated forest- and sawmill enterprise. A review of literature is followed by a case stud y, where present conditions in a Swedish forest company are compared with current research in the area. The seeond part consists of a simulation stud y, which aims at camparing the accuracy of inventory estimates using different methods. The estimates are delivery forecasts, covering one month consumptian of timber in a large sawmill.

Sweden has almost 600 000 hectares planted with lodgepole pine, and large areas are soon ready to be clear-felled. The provenances that have been planted are producing high level of permanently closed, so called serotinous, cones. In their natural setting, the Canadian boreal forest, these cones are opened mainly after crown fires when the heat make the resin between the cone scales melt, which releases the seeds. This is viewed as an adaption to the fire regimes that prevail over the natural distribution area of lodgepole pine. Because of the short flame-exposure that occurs in a crown fire, the seeds can survive.

The purpose with this study was to analyze the possibilities to produce organic lambs and to hihglight the most common difficulties in such a production system. A description of current organic and conventional lamb production systems was conducted, both from Sweden and from some other countries. The Department of Animal Environment and Health at SLU in Skara performed the project together with The County Board of Agriculture in Västra Götaland and Värmland and The Swedish Animal Health Service. The project lasted from 2002 to 2004. The student report contains the years 2002 and 2003. In the year of 2003 there were 210 000 adult sheep in Sweden, of which 16 400 adult sheep were certified by KRAV. Of the different countries in Sweden, Västra Götaland and Gotland had the largest number of sheep, 14 and 13 per cent of the total number.
