The aim of this study is to describe and analyze how the European union relates to the different dimensions of abortion. What kind of problem is abortion and whose right is it? Does difference framings of the problem enable different solutions?By analyzing debates from the European parliament through Carol Lee Bacchis method ?What?s the problem approach? I have come to see that different representations of a problem changes the problem it self. This emphasis that a problem is a problem in one context, but not in an other.Depending on the work of, among others, Barbara Hobson and Ailbhe Smyth I have focused upon the European union as a economical project, leaving social issues to national competence. This makes the EU a patriarchal project that fails to guarantee women?s rights.

Svensk musikindustri har under de senaste årtiondena åtnjutit stora framgångar på den internationella marknaden. Export Music Sweden grundades för att stötta och marknadsföra svensk populärmusik utomlands. VD Christer Lundblad sade 2003 att intäkter från konserter ökar kraftigt. Anledningar till detta kan vara att den ökande illegala nedladdningen av musik ger ett ökat ekonomiskt utrymme för konserter, samt att människor idag värderar upplevelser högre än tidigare. Eftersom mer pengar spenderas på konserter blir prissättningen mer betydelsefull.

The right to freedom of conscience is protected by international conventions and declarations of human rights that have been ratified by Sweden. Nationally, the issue of health professionals? right to freedom of conscience in the abortion care is not resolved by public inquiry. This has led to that Sweden has been notified to the European Committee of Social Rights on the grounds that the country is considered to be violating the Council of  Europe Resolution 1763 and that the proper question to be determined by regulations of the interests that are balanced, based on their legal value in relation to each other. This study is based on the discussion of the rapid development and use of the Internet and its role in transforming the religious landscape. More specifically it focuses on the Swedish Muslim cyber landscape and how this has changed over the passed twelve years. Göran Larrsons study Svenska cybermuslimska miljöer i början av det 21 århundradet (Swedish Cybermuslim Enviroments in the start of the Twentyfirst Century) from 2001, is being used as a starting and reference point. The general purpose of this essay is to study religious change online. The specific aim is to investigate if and in that case, how and why the Swedish cyber-Islamic landscape has changed and developed in the last twelve years.The questions to be answered in this study are:- What Muslim actors (groups, individuals and organizations) are represented on Swedish web pages in 2013?- Have the Swedish Muslim cyber landscape changed with respect to the number of web pages, content and actors since 2001, and can these changes be understood and analyzed with the help of existing research on religion and new media and Islam and Muslims in Sweden?The result of this essay shows that there has been a dramatic change regarding the activity in the Swedish Muslim cyber landscape.

This study is based on a proposition about the legislation regarding sexual offences prepared by a commission initiated by the Swedish government in 1972 which was presented in 1976. The purpose of this study has been to ascertain the commissions views on rape based on their representation of the problem, their presuppositions and assumptions regarding it and future consequences in behavior for victims and offenders of the crime. The key results of this study is that the commission regarded the ?problem? of the then current legislation to be non-consistently with the time being. In their opinion the legislation needed to be loosened from its moral strings and be adjusted to the ?new? sexually liberal era.

Studiens syfte är att se hur individualistiska och kollektivistiska värderingar kan förstås ur ett intersektionellt perspektiv med fokus på kulturell identitet. I ett bekvämlighetsurval hittade vi respondenter från Mellanstadskommuner i klasser för SFI (Svenska För Invandrare) och SAS (Svenska som Andra Språk) samt kollektivboenden för ensamkommande flyktingbarn. Genom att utföra studien på svenska studenter på två olika gymnasieskolor samt japanska individer erhölls referenspunkter i förhållande till Hofstede?s data gällande kulturella värderingar och dimensioner. Respondenterna fick svara på ett enkätformulär som är utformat av Ph.D.

The purpose of this study was to investigate to what extent  young adults use media to create the image of themselves. The questions we wanted to answer was as follows: what does the media use of young adults look like compared to their attitudes towards media content; what awareness do they have of other young adults attitudes concerning media content; and finally, how do these attitudes affect their own media use?Media consumption is a great part of  the daily lives of young adults living in Sweden: the national  average media consumption is seven hours a day, for 15-24 year olds. This provides a new way for young adults to express their identity - by showing their use of different media content, they can change other's perception of themselves.The method we used in our study was a combination between a quantitative and a qualitative method. We first made a survey in three classes with senior year high school-students, in a Swedish school.

The aim of this essay is to examine how two different schools in Södertälje municipality are working to include and integrate newly arrived high school students in the subject Swedish as a second language. I will do a comparative study in which I study the teachers? completely opposite way of working to integrate newly arrived school students in the subject Swedish as a second language. I have used a qualitative method where I have conducted interviews. My main theory is Peder Haug's (1998) theory.

ABSTRACTThe purpose with the investigation was to find if there is a relation between daily health active and too reusing theoretic learning for health promotion school?s pupil. In the investigation I have focused into if the Health promotion school?s student has better result at the nation?s test (NT) in Swedish, English and in mathematic in the fifths grade, than the ordinary school that isn?t health promotion school. The personal feelings of the two schools are that there is a connection between health active and too reusing theoretic learning.

Med bakgrund till den tidigare forskningen som pekar på en ojämlik arbetsförutsättning och en stark underrepresentation av människor med utländsk bakgrund som intagit chefspositioner har intresset till denna studie väckts. Det är ett viktigt område att studera med tanke på den stora andelen människor som invandrar eller invandrat till Sverige och som ska ta del av det nya landet och samhället. Syftet med studien har varit att undersöka personliga erfarenheter från första linjens chefer som arbetar inom kommunal äldreomsorgen och hur de upplever att deras utländska bakgrund kan ha betydelse i rollen som chef. I föreliggande studie har antidiskriminering och intersektionalitet använts som teoretiska ramverk för denna uppsats. Antidiskriminerande arbete hjälper oss att förstå innebörden av diskriminering, inkludering och exkludering medan intersektionalitet hjälper oss att förstå sambanden i hur olika maktordningar samverkar i ett samhälle. Genom att kombinera dessa teorier får vi en bredare förståelse för uppsatsens frågeställning. För att komma närmare syftet i studien har kvalitativ metod använts och det hermeneutiska perspektivet varit en utgångspunkt, där intervjuer varit förutsättningen för denna studie. Sex chefer med utländsk bakgrund har intervjuats. Resultaten från studien visar att den utländska bakgrunden som chef har betydelse i vissa fall.

Huvudsyftet med projektet var från början att digitalisera och mata in data för särskilda arkeologiska utredningsområden, att skanna rapporter som hör till utredningarna och lagra rapporterna på ett sådant sätt att de blir tillgängliga direkt från ArcMap via hyperlänk. Syftet förändrades dock något med tiden så att det istället blev att skapa ett inmatningshjälpmedel i form av en applikation.Arbetet med att skapa polygoner av utredningsområden grundar sig på så kallad skärmdigitalisering, och någon högre noggrannhet krävs alltså inte. Att koordinater och annan spatial information kan erhållas ur varje polygon får anses vara av mindre vikt i detta projekt. Geodatabasen som skapades i projektet består av en Feature Class, samt nio stycken så kallade Object Classes. För att begränsa möjligheten att mata in data på fler än ett sätt, har vi använt domännamn i geodatabasen.

The perfect competition results when supply and demand appoint the price and quantity of a product. Firms are encouraged to compete then it results in efficiency, quality products and lower prices.

The aim of this master thesis is to investigate and illustrate the measures that parents, teachers and school librarians can take in order to influence childrens reading, and, more importantly, how these attempts performed by the adults in the childs environment affect the reading habits of the child. The methods used include qualitative interviews, undertaken with eight students/children, their teacher and a school librarian, and an observation of a book talk in the studied class. Considering that no interviews have been executed with the parents, the results presented regarding the parents prospects of encouraging childrens reading, are therefore to be seen from the perspective of the children, and analysed as such. Three different theories have been employed in order to elucidate the results of the study; Bourdieus theory about the cultural capital transmitted from parent to child; Aidan Chambers theory on the book talk as promoting reading; and Louise Limbergs theory on the levels of the school library and its consequent prognosis of working to promote reading. The results of the study concur with Bourdieus theory, in that the childrens reading habits in most cases seem to have been affected by the amount of involvement that the parents have given to promote their reading.
