In a suburb of Stockholm, local polititians descide to close down an elemantary school. Because of its shortage of pupils, the polititians claim they can not guarantee the quality of the school and the public requreiments of equal education. The school-employed teachers and parents of the pupils are all unhapy with the descision, but first and foremost dissatisfaied with how the descision was communicated.Using qualitative methods; interviews and content analisys, this thesis aimes to determine how the involved parties, in regards to the termination of the school, view the concepts of freedom of choice, equal education and quality. Interviews have been made with decision-makers, employees of the school, the school leader, one civil servant and parents; all with the goal of understanding how the involved parties view the events leading to the termination of the school and what causes they see. Furthermore, the thesis analyses if and why the involved parties experience the decision as legitimate..

This study discusses the European Union´s influence regarding the Cyprus Conflict since 1998, when the EU began the official membership negotioations with Cyprus. The first aim of the study is to investigate in what way the EU has tried to practice influence concerning the Greek- and Turk Cypriots, but also Turkey, since Turkey is seen as a relevant party in the conflict. The second aim of the study is to examine what effects the EU´s influence has led to for the parties involved. The theoretical approach in the study is the theory Normative power, the theory stresses that Europe and the EU practices non-military power, and is able to do so because of the fact that the EU is based on internationally acknowledged desirable norms, as democracy and human rights and liberties. Postoperativt illamående och kräkningar, PONV, drabbar 30-35 % av alla vuxna patienter som genomgåren operation under generell anestesi. Konsekvenser som PONV kan leda till är bland annatelektrolytrubbningar, förlängd vårdtid, allmän fördröjning av rehabilitering efter operation samtsårrupturer. Läkemedel mot PONV har studerats grundligt, dock uppnår endast 30 % av patienternatillfredsställande effekt samtidigt som flertalet biverkningar besvärar patienterna. Sjuksköterskan har enviktig uppgift i att motverka komplikationer som uppkommer vid vård och behandling och en kritisk frågavar om den komplementära metoden akupressur är en lämplig metod att använda i detta avseende dåläkemedelsbehandling inte räcker till. Syftet med uppsatsen var således att beskriva och värderabevisvärdet av effekterna vid akupressur mot PONV för att kunna bidra med evidensbaserad omvårdnad.Metoden som användes var, att bidra till evidensbaserad omvårdnad med grund i analys av kvantitativforskning, och 12 kvantitativa studier som ansågs bidra med evidens analyserades i resultatet.

The main aim of this study is to examine the development policies of Sweden and the European Union from a postcolonial perspective. Sweden and the European Union are increasingly coming to be viewed as normative powers rather than military powers. So how does the colonial past of the western societies affect the policies of today? Are there any signs of the power structures of the past, and if so, how are these power structures manifested in the development policies of today? Since both Sweden and the European Union have come to be viewed as normative powers they are compared with each other to highlight their similarities and differences. The results of the study shows that both Sweden and the European Union can be seen as carriers of western values and interests.

Strävan med uppsatsen är att klarlägga de grundläggande faktorer som överraskningen kan sägas bestå av samt att skapa en modell av faktorernas inbördes förhållande och ömsesidiga beroende, syftande till att på ett avgörande sätt överraska motståndaren.Den empiriska undersökningen sker genom en analys av fem erkända militärteoretiker. SAMMANFATTNINGInledning och bakgrundFörekomsten av övervikt och fetma ökar stadigt i Sverige och runt om i världen samt klassas som en allvarlig folksjukdom. Fetma bär med sig en rad konsekvenser som är direkt hotande för hälsan och visar sig i fysiska och psykiska besvär. Den mest effektiva behandlingen mot fetma är överviktskirurgi och det vanligaste ingreppet i Sverige samt det som visat bäst resultat är gastric bypass operation. Vid detta ingrepp minskas magsäcken så endast en liten ficka finns kvar, vilket medför ett begränsat intag av måltider samt ett minskat näringsupptag. Efter operationen kan individen inte längre följa sina gamla vanor och förändringar i kroppen sker vilket kan leda till att många omställningar uppstår.

Vid större olyckor och kriser kan Försvarsmaktens helikoptrar nyttjas för bland annat sjukvårds-, transport-,släck-, flygräddnings- och sjöräddningsuppdrag. Sedan 2010 är Rakel det kommunikationssystem som används av de så kallade blåljusorganisationerna (Polis, Räddningstjänst, Ambulans, etc) samt vid krisledning i Sverige. I och med införandet av Rakel tappade Försvarsmaktens helikoptrar förmågan att kunna kommunicera och samverka effektivt vid olyckor och kriser med blåljusorganisationerna. AbstractAt the UN Conference on Environment and Development in 1992 the nations stated that traditional environmental policies were not sufficient to handle the multidimensional challenges posed by sustainable development. Governments needed to broaden their political decision making procedures in order to coordinate and integrate environmental, social and economic policies. Therefore a new tool was introduced in Agenda 21, National Strategies for Sustainable Development (NSDS). The aim of an NSDS would be to bring together actors from all parts of society to jointly reach a consensus on how to work towards the vision of a sustainable society. An NSDS would be seen as a strategic tool to help focus national policies for SD.
