Bakgrund: Redan år 1936 gjordes undersökningar i USA som visade på att oro kunde minskas genom god information inför medicinsk behandling. Syfte: Beskriva barnets behov av förberedelse inför operation. Metod: Detta är en systematisk litteraturstudie där artiklarna söktes i databaserna PubMed, Cinahl och PsycInfo. Fjorton artiklar inkluderades och som har analyserats. Tre kategorier bildades; Ångest, förberedelse och delaktighet.

This master is a study of the co-operation between "Angered?s culture schools" and compulsory schools. In many reports of today one can see that there is a lack of co-operation between compulsory school and other cultural institutions. This master aims to study a ?good example? to see what makes it successful in the terms of organizational conditions, profession, authority and legitimacy as well as knowledge creation.

The purpose of this master thesis is to find out if library activities in civil society may be seen as a complement to public activities. The incitement lies in a discussion in the research activities of social sciences and among politicians, where the opinion is that civil society may function as a complement to governmental policy. The NGO-library Föreningen Miljöbiblioteket i Lund and the municipality of Malmö stad where chosen as units for examination. The common feature of the two units is the global task introduced by the UN, to create a sustainable development. The material used is exclusively concerning domestic information activities.

This study was conducted by using a qualitative textual analysis on UNICEF Sweden?s website with the purpose of problematizing the role of UNICEF Sweden in today?s globalised society. This was done in the context of how organisations of civil society have gained influence. Following questions were answered: How does UNICEF Sweden legitimise its operation? Which strategies does UNICEF Sweden use to encourage involvement and donations?The study shows how UNICEF Sweden legitimises its work by promoting a unique influence, their unique methods of work and by showing how the organisation helps the most disadvantaged children.

Syfte: Att undersöka hur musik som omvårdnadsåtgärd påverkar patienten fysiskt och psykiskt pre-, peri- och postoperativt. Metod: Deskriptiv litteraturstudie. 12 artiklar inkluderades som granskades, analyserades och sammanställdes. Sökningarna utfördes i databaserna PubMed och Cinahl. Huvudresultat: Resultatet visade att musik i samband med operation påverkar patienten både fysiskt och psykiskt på flera olika sätt.

Bakgrund. Daglig rökning är förknippad med en ökad risk för postoperativa komplikationer. Risken kan minskas genom att vara rökfri minst en månad innan en operation. Rökavvänjning är ett preventivt arbete, där sjuksköterskan förebygger komplikationer samt uppmuntrar till livsstilförändringar. Syfte.

After the fall of communism in Yugoslavia the ethnic resentment grew stronger and escalated in to interethnic civil conflict in 1992. After international intervention the General Framework Agreement for Peace (GFAP) installed peace in 1995. The treaty's aim was not only to establish peace but also to institute democracy in Bosnia. The OSCE were given the task to implement democracy within political institutions and civil society. This in a country with a lack of democratic experience and where great problems with ethnic antagonism still exists.By using democratization and transition theory this single case-study examines how democracy is implemented in Bosnia by the OSCE and clarifies difficulties that this democratization process is facing.

Den här studiens syfte var att undersöka om personalgrupperna som medverkar i överrapporteringen från operationsavdelning till postoperativ avdelning skattar någon skillnad i kvalitén på överrapportering när operationssjuksköterskan medverkar i rapporten. Metoden var en kvantitativ observationsstudie, personal och observatör fick via enkäter skatta kvalitén på 60 st. överrapporteringen mellan operation och postoperativ avdelning vid ett Centrallasarett i södra Sverige. Resultatet visade att kvalitén på överrapporteringen ej uppvisar några signifikanta skillnader vid operationssjuksköterskans medverkan.

In order to do this, we have with the use of the theory of weak states, intervention as well as sovereignty, investigated EU?s document in the question with the use of the idea centered analytical method. There is also opposing opinions whether cyber warfare should be seen as a method to alone force a will on your opponent or if cyber warfare should mere be supporting other military means.

This paper is about the different parts within the officers training that motivate the cadets to continue their employment within the armed forces after graduation, it also brings up the different parts that influences their motivation in a negative way. Six cadets from the 2011 class at the military academy at Karlberg have been interview in order to give their view on the following seven themes; reasons to take employment, collegiate attitude, comfort, study motivation, perceived education quality, the regiment and career. The responses have then been compared to the previous research at a cadet level which have been scarce. The result followed the previous findings about conscript?s motivation to continue their career and officers to end theirs.
