This thesis aims at studying representatives from three groups in the Egyptian society with an ethnographic method and with regards to their experiences, reflections and stories of the Egyptian revolution. The material of the thesis is based on ethnographic fieldwork and on interviews.The purpose of the study is to explore different themes in the informants? stories related to society, freedom, social justice, human values, peace and civility. The purpose is also to examine the informants' stories with emphasis on various informal learning processes that occurred in the Egyptian social change.The study finds that according to the informants a society should be characterized, among other things, by human values, social justice, non-violence and peaceful methods and approaches. Various informal learning processes involving both individual citizens and active members of civil society and NGO groups were found to be practiced to be able to accomplish these changes in the Egyptian society to create a better future.The degrees of involvement of the various learning processes not only reflect differences between informants regarding the social and cultural background.

This bachelor thesis aims to investigate how social workers in Uppsala describe their procedure when investigating applications for housing assistance (i.e. boendestöd). Boendestöd is a specific type of services for people with disabilities, which aim to assist them in their lives. This welfare service is one of many regulated by the framework legislation that is the social services act (SoL 2001:453). Previous research indicates that civil servants who make decisions based on goal-oriented framework legislations like SoL, have a great freedom to act when they make judgments and decisions.

                                                  AbstractThe development of our society has in many ways changed the relationships between the political parties and the citizens. Fewer citizens are active in political parties, which has contributed to the fact that we see a form of catch-all effect and a development of parties that organizes more in forms of professional organisations. This paper has made a research of modells of democratic ideals and values between leaders and party-members in political parties in the local area. The purpose has been to show how these ideals and values can reflect back on the political development. The result shows that the development has created a form of catch-all effect and a professionalism in the parties.

The intensity of cleaning declined dramatically in the early 1990?s in the Swedish forests. Recession, an economic depressed forestry and the new law of silviculture from 1993, where the duty of cleaning was removed have been considered as sources to the decline. This has led to a situation where huge areas of forests are untouched, which can lead to negative effects for those stands in the future. The purpose of this thesis was to find out how the individual landowner acts and feel when it concerns cleaning activities. Has the landowner noticed Södra?s campaigns about cleaning and what sort of measure should Södra implement to increase the members? cleaning activity? SammanfattningEfter ett riksdagsbeslut 1968 omvandlades den svenska militärmusiken till den civila organisationen Regionmusiken. Det innebar bland annat att alla militärmusiker fick civil status, men också ändrade arbetsuppgifter. Militärmusikerna förväntades spela i både den militära kontext de kom ifrån, och i en civil kontext som innebar allt ifrån kammarmusikkonserter till instrumentvisning i grundskolan. Med tiden märkte man att det trots allt fanns ett behov av ceremoniell musik och utbildning av musiker i en militär kontext, varför man 1982 bildade den värnpliktiga musikkåren Arméns Musikpluton (numera Arméns Musikkår). År 2006 anställdes 15 professionella musiker i kåren, vilket betyder att Sverige åter har en militärmusik under Försvarsmaktens styre.

Syftet med denna jämförande studie är att söka förklaringsfaktorer till varför hälso- och sjukvård respektive civilflyg har utvecklats olika i säkerhetstänkande. Frågeställningen är huruvida de statliga tillsynsmyndigheternas förutsättningar och arbetssätt har betydelse för säkerhetskulturen i respektive tillsynsverksamhet. Till förutsättningarna hör författningarna - skiljer sig dessa åt? Med detta verktyg skapas, utgående från litteratur om politisk-militärarelationer, två idealtyper som anses svara mot de nuvarande och de föreslagna förhållandena.Källmaterialet, remissinstansernas yttranden, debatt och motioner i riksdagen samt debattartiklar i dagspressen,undersöks genom en kvalitativ textanalys och klassificeras med hjälp av analysverktyget.Undersökningen visar att både bland remissinstanserna och bland riksdagspartierna finns tvåhuvudteman. The EU documents reveal an underlying line of thought stemming from the alignment of the six founding countries, spearheaded by France, with the conservative corporatist welfare model. As one of four European welfare models, the conservative corporatist model emphasises labour market issues, corporate social responsibility and the subsidiarity principle in EU social policy.
