Bakgrund: Ett omvårdnadsvetenskapligt synsätt är att se människan som en enhet av kropp, själ och ande. Omvårdnad ska, enligt sjuksköterskans kompetensbeskrivning, utgå från en helhetssyn på människan. Trots detta försummas andlighet hos patienter på grund av bristande utbildning och förståelse av begreppet andlighet samt organisatoriska begränsningar. En vanlig uppfattning är att religion och andlighet ses som synonymer, trots att andlighet är ett vidare begrepp. Syfte: Att beskriva hur svårt sjuka patienter uttrycker sin andlighet.

Sammanfattning Är virtuella världar sakraliserade?Virtuella är sakraliserade i jämförelse med vår sekulariserade värd och jag hade inte förväntat mig ett så stort utbud av religion i onlinespel. I och med min forskning anser jag att Final Fantasy XI och World of Warcraft i största grad är sakraliserade virtuella världar där människor världen över antar rollen som så kallade ?cyberpiligrims? och ge sig ut på ett äventyr för att upptäcka sin identitet och utforska sig själva. I spelen förekommer religiösa föreställningar och de är en plats där man kan konstruera sin andlighet liksom på övriga Internet.

Syftet med uppsatsen är att undersöka hur idealen i statskyrkan och frikyrkorörelsen interagerade med arbetarrörelsens under sent 1800-tal och tidigt 1900-tal. Sverige är under den här perioden ett samhälle i förändring på såväl politisk, social som religiös nivå och i detta arbete undersöks några perspektiv på konsekvenserna av dessa förändringar. Med en teori om varför människor blir religiösa, undersöker jag närmare vilken natur engagemangen i rörelserna kunde ha. Den tidiga arbetarrörelsen inspirerades av Marx och då marxism och en positiv religionsyn inte är förenliga vill jag visa på att när religionen slutade vara det som skänkte mening och tillhörighet ersattes den av den politiska ideologin.

The purpose of this article is partly to find out how the burial grounds are used today and the needs of its visitors, but also to develop the character and expression of future burial grounds. My suggestions focus on burial grounds without religious attributes; something that, according to the burial law (Begravningslagen, 1990:1144), the manager of the burial ground is ordered to obey. In my design I aim to fulfill any requests regarding the place of burial that have been raised during my study. I have chosen the history of burial grounds as my starting point and will subsequently discuss their significance in today's society. I describe what distinguishes the burial ground throughout history from medieval times and onwards. Tradition and religion are closely linked regarding burial rituals.

In our bachelor thesis we have strived to examine the representation of journalism students in Nicaragua. The freedom of press is much lower compared to Sweden and the journalist profession is protected by a certificate. It is also a high level of corruption within the country. Our investigation concerns who has access to the journalist education and the goal is to compare that with the public in Nicaragua. To be able to examine the representation among the journalism students we have chosen seven different aspects to examine, the sex of the student, witch social class they belong to, their academic background, religion, ethnicity, geographical belonging and political view.

Kultkontinuitet är ett omdiskuterat begrepp inom religionshistorisk forskning. Vid övergången från en religion till en annan kan olika typer av beständighet ibland urskiljas, exempelvis när det gäller val av kultplats samt handlingar vid denna plats. Ofta har diskussionen kring kultkontinuitet i Norden rört uppförandet av kristna kyrkor på förkristna kultplatser. Inom folkreligiositeten har även offrandet vid vissa källor ansetts ha förkristna anor. Längs Ångermanälven finns exempel på den här typen av källor, där offrande och källdrickning från katolsk tid och framåt påstås ha sina rötter i förkristen kult.

Uppsatsen är en studie av det sätt på vilket författaren Johanne Hildebrandt har använts sig av den fornskandinaviska mytologin när hon skrivit sin trilogi om Freja och Valhalla. Hon har använt flera karaktärer, myter och beskrivningar från bronsålder, Skandinaviens i allmänhet och Sveriges i synnerhet, och lagt dem som grund för sina böcker. Hon väljer att vinkla boken ur ett feministiskt perspektiv och sätter stort fokus på matriarkatet. Ingen vet säkert hur samhället var uppbyggt för 2700 år sedan, och Hildebrandt såg sin chans att skriva boken ur ett perspektiv där kvinnan och Gudinnan stod i centrum.Hon har onekligen använt mycket från mytologin. Ju mer påläst man är om fornskandinavisk religion desto mer kopplingar märker man.

This report is a case study of ?citizen forums? in the municipality of Uppsala. These forums are arranged to make people participate more in local politics. The aim of this study is to find out if the opinions and the wishes coming from the citizens are later involved in the planning process etc made by the authorities. The aim is also to explain why or why not the opinions from the citizens are of any importance.My empirical data come from interviews that I have made with seven different respondents, both politicians and civil servants.

This thesis explores how Muslim youths? lifeworlds are depicted and narrated in the following two studies on Muslim youth in Sweden and Denmark: Muslima (2007) and Samtidsislam (2010). The aim of this thesis is to answer the following question: In what ways do these works treat the aspects of the lifeworlds that are being highlighted in their studies of Muslim youth in contemporary Sweden and Denmark? An underlying aim is to analyse the results within the framework of theories of socialisation, cultural emancipation and rituals and traditions.With a hermeneutic approach I analyse the texts and operationalize the research question into four themes: the effects of socialization, cultural emancipation, rituals and traditions and secularization. The texts are treated in the analysis with textual analysis and hermeneutic method.

Based on last years events that have taken place, events on the school Lundbergs and the police values of work, has the meaning of having a set of values been questioned. This study aimed to investigate and answer the fundamental values based on the common value basis for the government employees within an organization and how it perceived by employees. The new institutional theory was the framework for this qualitative study conducted with semi-structured interviews. Respondents were employees within the organization. Ethnographic qualitative methodology was the basis for our methodology and we used a thematic model of theme interpretation, communication and knowledge in our analysis.

This paper discuss the possibilities to improve the Swedish political nomination system. It brings up some of the values and norms that can be used to change the existing system. Values as openness, the demand of responsibility and also if there is values from the American spoils system that can be used in the Swedish system. A minor purpose is to discuss the part of the parliament within the nomination process. To investigate this I have some theoretical starting points and a self constructed analysis tool.

The purpose of this thesis is to explore and analyze the processes and efforts involved in rebuilding the war-torn state of Afghanistan. The examined period span from the fall of the Taliban regime in 2001, to the elections in 2005. This period, commonly known as the Bonn-process, sets out the initial time for the reconstruction of the state.A theoretical framework, which considers the necessary mechanisms for successful state-building, will be used to analyze Afghanistan's re-building process. The mechanisms include the prerequisite of a stable security environment, emerging from a cease-fire, together with the development of a well-functioning economy, re-introduction of rule of law and rejuvenating civil society.The failure to establish a secure environment has had a devastating impact on all analyzed aspects of the re-building process. It is therefore crucial that the international society continuing to assists the Afghan government in its efforts to strengthen its capacity, in order to improve the security situation.
