Background: The theater market has matured ? supply now exceeds demand. Government funds are on a decrease, replaced by other means of financing. The city of Stockholm will be introducing a bonus system that will benefit independent theater groups that succeed to increase their revenue and attendance. Hence, the audience will play an even greater role, a tendency some free theater groups come to terms with by interacting with the audience to create value.Thesis statement: What factors lead to the long-term survival of the independent theater groups, allowing them to benefit from the imminent bonus system?Purpose: To analyze and evaluate the marketing strategies of the independent theater groups, in reference to their capability of long-term survival through value creation along with the audience, thereby increasing attendance and ticket revenue.Methodology: The study combines quantitative and qualitative approaches and methods.

In the society there is different kind of people that belongs to different groups. The different groups that people belong to are depending on where you live, grow up, ethnic group, level of education and which economic standard you have. The subject of our composition is about children and teenager growth environment and about what society they belong to and how it affects their possibility to exercise. Our composition is built from the question: Are there any differences connected to exercise in an association compared to spontaneous exercise based on economic standard and what district of the city you live? To be able to find an answer to our question we have chosen to concentrate on three districts in the city of Helsingborg.

Marknaden som handelsplats lever kvar i Sverige än idag. Flera marknader har stor popularitet och har blivit en mötesplats för många människor. I en av Sveriges största städer finns en sådan marknad. Marknadsplatsen har under längre tid dragits med nedläggningshot eftersom fastighetsägaren och staden har andra planer för området. Reaktionerna mot en eventuell nedläggning har varit stora och i denna uppsats har det undersökts ett annat alternativ, nämligen om marknaden kan omlokaliseras. Frågorna som har ställts är ?Vilka aspekter kan bidra till en lyckad omlokalisering?? och ?Hur skulle hyresgästen och brukarna påverkas??. Med brukarna avses de som nyttjar lokalen, det vill säga marknadens besökare och säljare. För att komma fram till ett resultat har kortare intervjuer hållits med 62 av marknadens brukare. Längre intervjuer har genomförts med marknadens ägare, fastighetsägaren och representant från staden. Litteratur och vetenskapliga artiklar har eftersökts i väletablerade databaser utifrån nyckelord i uppsatsens problemformulering. Teorierna som uppsatsens slutsatser grundats på handlar om människors behov, förändringars innebörd, risker med omlokalisering samt relevant lagrum. Slutsatsen är att brukarna kommer att följa med till en ny lokal och deras påverkan kommer att vara minimal om en mötesplats kan uppstå. Många av brukarna bor i närområdet och en ny lokals mest optimala placering är i samma område. Det är viktigt att lokalen är lättillgänglig oavsett färdsätt och att lokalhyran är relativt låg. Bra parkeringsmöjligheter är, enligt säljarna, viktigt. Nyckeln till marknadens framgång är ett stort och varierat utbud, och det är en förutsättning för framtidens marknad. Förändringen en omlokalisering innebär, är mildare än om marknaden tvingas lägga ner. För att förändringen ska kunna genomföras på bästa sätt bör marknadens ägare liksom flera brukare ändra inställning och arbeta aktivt för förändring. The purpose of this study is to shed light on and describe Kramfors travel centers function and relationship to the surrounding urban environment, and how this core is experienced by residents and visitors. To do this, the use of the travel center, its relationship to Kramfors city center and the perception of it, as well as possible improvement areas has been studied.This has been examined using a quantitative method by designing a questionnaire and the usage of a research strategy through the implementation of a small-scale survey. Within this a cluster sampling was applied.The result shows that Kramfors travel centers is primarily used for traveling and is used most frequently by the visitors within the study. It is also shown that residents 'primary reason for traveling from the travel center is friends and family, followed by shopping, and that the visitors' primary motive for traveling is friends and family as well, followed by work. The mode of transportation between the travel center and destinations are mainly walking, while the mode of transport between homes and the travel center proves to be the car.

The report examines the various factors in the outdoor environment that can affect the physical and psychic well being of the elderly people through availability and inclusion. The research methods that are affected are qualitative and has been implemented in order to give insight and knowledge about the way elderly people view the outdoor stay in their neighborhood, but also through analysis produce an informed design suggestion..

This essay intervenes in the politics of urban segregation in Stockholm. The main aim of the essay is to analyze and describe how advanced marginality and territorial stigmatization are expressed in the lived experiences of four unemployed youths, that have participated in a labor market training program located in the ?social vulnerable? area Rågsved. With a theoretical framework based in Henri Lefebvre?s production of social space the empirical findings are interpreted in regard to how the youths produce social space in dialectical interplay with urban politics, advanced marginality, territorial stigmatization, and their local neighborhood.

This thesis is about the public library of Ulricehamn and the cultural activities at the library during the period from 1960 to 1998. We have focused on the study of the cultural activities. It begins with the foundation of the library of Ulricehamn and a historical background to it. It follows with the definitions of the public library and a historical background to the public library in Sweden. Then we present the goal of the public library in general and the goal of Ulricehamn's city library.

The aim of this study has been to describe the ongoing region enlargement process in the region Mälardalen, located in the east part of Sweden, and to investigate how this process can affect the local level. The study is especially orientated on public communications and accessibility. The intention has also been to examine how the local accessibility can affect the re-gional development in Mälardalen. The local investigation object that has been chosen for this research is the city Strängnäs, situated in the province of Södermanland.
