This paper is part of the research programme ViSuCity, a programme with the goal of creating more sustainable urban planning through the development of better visual tools, which ultimately means better communication between various parties of public planning. The paper concerns the implementation of MCE into a 3D program for visualization. Multi criteria evaluation (MCE) is a technique that has been developed during the last 20 years. It merges GIS with AHP, forming a decision making tool for localization of, for example, new buildings.The result is an automated tool that enables advanced analysis of geographic areas.The tool has a very high potential due to the completely automated MCE and it is adapted for people without a technical background, let alone formal training in MCE. It provides great opportunities to test different scenarios, something that should be an important advantage.

I have always been interested in sports, so when it was time to write the paper I chose to write about sports and economic.It has led to this problem: How is the function of management control and planning problems in sports?   Sports clubs are non-profit association and non-profit organizations aim to support members? moral and economic interests. The large number of alternative fuels that are under development at present makes the future fuel-market impossible to predict. Scania?s ethanol project is associated with a number of uncertainty factors that are beyond the company?s control.

AimThe aim of this study is to discuss process orientated education by identifying and describing general elements in two alternative pedagogies that in different ways attempt to separate themselves from the didactics in the traditional school. The questions are:1. How do the general elements for example the pupil, the knowledge and the lesson, in classroom education appear at a Waldorf and a Freinet school respectively?2. How do the general elements for example the teacher, the lesson planning and the overall goal, that teachers obey to and create in their lesson?s planning appear at the two schools respectively?MethodThe study is based on four days of observations in one ninth grade class at a Freinet school and a corresponding amount of time in one eighth grade class and one ninth grade class at a Waldorf school.

The aim of this thesis is to examine the relationship between user education at high schools and the context in which it takes place. In order to accomplish this qualitative interviews have been executed with librarians at five Swedish high schools. The theoretical framework of this thesis is based on the sociocultural perspective and four approaches to user education developed by Olof Sundin. Based on the empirical material six themes have been identified. Each one represents a contextual factor which influences the user education.

Soundscape design handlar om att aktivt planera och gestalta ljudmiljöer i våra städer, men också i våra rurala rekreationsområden. När ljud diskuteras bland politiker och tjänstemän är det oftast i negativa ordalag; ljuden måste stängas ute, ljudnivån måste sänkas. Ordet ljud byts ut mot ordet buller och blir en förorening som människor måste skyddas ifrån; likt en anstormande fiende stängs det ute med vallar, plank och murar. Ovanstående lösning är otillfredsställande, och behandlar inte problemet vid dess källa. Den moderna staden, med dess dominerande ljudkälla fordonstrafiken, ljuder högt och oavbrutet. I decennier har forskare hävdat att människan successivt har slutat att lyssna på detta monotona och ointressanta trafikbrus, och vår hörsel har blivit underprioriterad våra andra sinnen. Hur ska vi då behandla problemet vid dess källa? Ljudnivån är hög i dagens städer, och effekterna som en hög ljudnivå kan ha på människor är bevisad och ska inte förringas.

In this paper, I?m going to discuss the subject identity in different ways and from different angles. Important questions I have had, has been how to analyze a site and what is the importance of identity and the possibility of changing it?The first part of the paper aims to provide an introduction to the concept of identity. I'm giving a short explanation of what identity is and how places relate to identity.

This thesis is about the idea of public transport and the discussions stirred in the media during changes in ownership. More specifically it is a study of the historical situation of Stockholm, Sweden, where the periods chosen are the 1910s, 1960s and 1990s.During the 1910s Stockholm?s first and largest tram company was taken over by thecity, and a period of public ownership began, which in the 1960s changed form whenthe county council took over the city?s principal authority and formed the politicallyadministered company SL (Storstockholms Lokaltrafik, Greater Stockholm LocalTransit Company). Between these periods the word kollektivtrafik (public transport)was established in the Swedish language. This study describes and compares the ideasconcerning the phenomenon of public transport.The aim of the study is to analyse the ideas, values and ideals concerning public transport in the media, defined as newspapers.

För att besvara frågorna ovan görs en ortsanalys som undersöker vilken typ av livsmiljö Skillingaryd är och som speglar hur Skillingarydsborna ser på sin ort och på sin vardag på orten. För att få en inblick i Skillingarydsbornas vardag tillfrågas en samling personer som bor på orten eller har en koppling till orten om deras syn på samhället.

Hur planerar man förtätning av städer där grönytor väljs ut för ny exploatering? Det är vad arbetet i huvudsak vill ha svar på. Städerna vill både expandera och integreras i ett urbant liv och samtidigt ha tillgång till mycket grönt. Det urbana står för den täta staden med sociala möten, kommunikationer och service etc. medans det gröna står för friytor, grönområden och grönska i städerna. Ronneby är en kommun likt många kommuner som har den här problematiken mellan urbanitet och natur.

In May 2010 the plans for Malmö?s new Concert Hall, Conference Centre and Hotel were announced publically. The purpose of this thesis was to present strategy for communication in order to gain approval for the new concert and conference center from the inhabitants inMalmö and to incorporate the use of it in their everyday life.Material from the receiver?s as well as the sender?s perspective has been collected from qualitative interviews. Through group interviews we have investigated the general consensus of the inhabitants of Malmö regarding the investment, placing, offered events, expectations as well as how they collected information.

Under början av 1900-talet blev kusten ett alltmer attraktivt rekreationsområde och stora områden togs i anspråk för fritidsbebyggelse. Idag är bilden en annan och kustzonen har blivit allt mer attraktiv som permanentbostadsort. Detta ställer nya krav på både miljön och bebyggelsen i kustlandskapet.

Recent years there has been discussed how the critical situation in the housing market threatens the Stockholm region's growth. The thesis objective is to examine whether there is a scientific link between the lack of housing supply and growth. The thesis also intends to identify solutions for increased housing construction, for instance by examining the conditions for a greater regional perspective and influence on the region's housing supply. The thesis empirical study is based on semi-structured interviews with representatives from the Government, municipalities and the housing industry.In Sweden, research on the relationship between housing shortages and growth has not been conducted to that extent it can be said to exist scientific evidence regarding the growth threat. However, in Britain and the U.S, empirical studies show that a lack of housing supply has hindered growth through negative impact on countries' gross domestic product.
