I denna rapport beskrivs det hur man har valt att lösa en dot1x-implementation på en Cisco 3000 switch. I rapporten återfinns konfiguration och egna tankar om dot1x. Rapporten innehåller även en guide om vilka kommandon som kan vara bra att använda sig av vid en dot1x-konfiguration. Funktioner och annan användbar information som rapporten handlar om är Dot1x, EAP, Autentiserings Server, Authenticator, Supplikant, MAB, RADIUS, Mac-Format, Host-mode och Vlan..

Jönköping Energi AB (JEAB) is a local energy supplier for the county of Jönköping. JEAB also maintain the local Metropolitan Area Network (MAN). They have recently installed GPON in a portion of their network and have connected it to the MAN via an Extreme switch.However JEAB would prefer to use Cisco equipment instead of Extreme since the MAN comprises of Cisco hardware. They require a solution to connect GPON to the MAN with a recently purchased line card (Cisco 7600 ES20) which can be installed in a Cisco 6500 Catalyst switch. There is also a possible solution with an Alcatel-Lucent 7450 ESS-1 switch.

Arbetet tar upp BGP-multihoming för mindre organisationer. Den jämför ett kommersiell alternativ mot open source-alternativ. Detta är för att se vad som krävs en av open source-lösning för ge konkurrens på routermarknaden, samt besparingar för organisationer som ska använda denna lösning.Praktiska och teoretiska jämförelser görs där Cisco-lösningar jämförs med OpenBGPD. Datan utifrån dessa tester används för att svara på problemfrågan. Sammanfattningsvis har open source produkter en fördel hårdvarumässigt på grund av lägre kostnader medan kommersiella har stora fördelar då de förlitar sig på nyare standarder..

This examination work is about implementation of Cisco Systems Network Admission Control (NAC) within a leading IT-company in region of Jönköping. NAC is a technique that is used for securing the internal network from the inside. NAC can verify that the client who connects to the network has the latest antivirus updates and latest operative system hotfixes. Clients who don?t meet the criteria can be placed in quarantine VLAN where they only have access to the update servers.

Denna rapport tar upp hur ett par olika programvaror, nämligen Packet Tracer och GNS3 kan användas för att simulera verklig utrustning i syftet att använda dessa hos ett företag i labbmiljö för att förbereda en implementation av ny hårdvara samtidigt som kostnaderna kan hållas nere, men också hur dessa programvaror kan användas i studiesyfte och använda som komplement till fysisk utrustning inför laborationer och examinationer i de olika kurserna som Cisco erbjuder. Det är också en utvärdering för att avgöra vilken av programvarorna som är den bästa att använda. En topologi sätts upp, komplett med IP-adressering med relativt vanlig konfiguration för att se hur dessa programvaror hanterar och klarar av dessa konfigurationer. Det visar sig att båda programvarorna presterar bra i de flesta fall, men de avbildningar av IOS som testats i GNS3 saknar stöd för PortSecurity som standard, så Packet Tracer tar titeln. One of the aims of this report has been to make an inventory of the building trade market to see which document handling systems that are available. The secondary aim was to document the users´ demands on the systems and other demands such as quality assurance. After this, the document handling systems Byggnet and Lotus Notes, which are rather complex systems, have been analysed. Finally a recommendation has been made. In the inventory of the marketthe internet has been used because it is there the latest information can be found.

Systems development methods mirror different organizational perspectives, and not all methods are formalised, but what they have in common is the purpose of structuring and supporting systems development processes. Which method would be the most suitable may be determined by the systems development context at hand, because every systems development context is unique. Information is a valuable asset in today?s organizations, and it needs to be protected against both internal and external security threats. In our essay we aspired to find and present suggestions as to how systems developers can include security in the very design based on formalised systems development methods to create systems that are better prepared to meet the security challenges of today.

Today's high oil prices and more stringent environmental requirements have led to that manufacturers of mobile construction equipment try to make their products more energy efficient. With this in mind a project about hybridization of hydraulic systems has been formed. The purpose of this project was to analyze the savings that can be achieved by hybridization of hydraulic systems. A reach stacker truck (Kalmar DRD450-80S4XS) were simulated in some load cases with conventional hydraulic systems and with three types of hybridized hydraulic systems. Different parts of the hydraulic systems were also analyzed separately.
