The aim of this study is to analyse how female neopagan practitioners form their identitiesindividually as well as collectively. Using Ernesto Laclau?s and Chantal Mouffe?s discourse theory and Anthony Giddens? descriptions of late modernity and self-identity, I intend toinvestigate my informants? construction and upholding of a meaningful identity and sense ofself. I will also look at how the neopagan movement can be viewed as a phenomenon closely interwoven with the overriding tendencies in our contemporary society. Neopaganism is an umbrella term that is used to describe a number of modern nature religions that take their inspiration from pre-Christian traditions.

This report is our Master thesis. Our work has taken place at a one-stop-shop in Sölvesborg during the spring of 2002. We have conducted ethnographical studies concerning the one-stop-shops frontdesk and telephone exchange. During these studies we became aware of some differences under which the daily work was to be carried out. Strax efter milleniumskiftet har ett flertal svenska filmer gjorts som är influerade av populärgenrer som förhållandevis skiljer sig från vad filmpubliken i Sverige är van vid, däribland science fiction och skräck. Tre svenska filmer gjorda under 00-talet: Storm, Frostbiten och Kenny Begins, har valts ut för att se hur de förhåller sig till äldre och mer välbekanta konventioner i svensk film men också konventioner hos de mer internationellt spridda genrer som analysexemplen tillhör. .

En så kallad Internet-community, är en mötesplats i cyberrymden där människor träffas och håller kontakten. De flesta communities har därför en del funktioner där kunderna bland annat kan lägga upp texter, bilder och videoklipp. Dessa kallas användarens prestationer som ett samlingsnamn i denna uppsats. Det har på senare tid uppmärksammats att företagen bakom dessa communities ofta förbehåller sig rätten till dessa prestationer genom en klausul i användaravtalet som alla medlemmar i communityn måste skriva under. One thing that most users of such programs are not aware of is that many of the adwares contain spyware. These spywares install themselves simultaneously with the adwares. Two of the spyware features is to generate pop-ups in the web browser and to direct advertisment from the users web habits.

Sammanfattning Jämställdhetsplaner ? en källa till förändring eller bara pappersarbete? är en kandidatuppsats i Handelsrätt. Vi har försökt att utreda om arbetsplatserna blir mer jämställda i och med arbetet med jämställdhetsplaner. Detta har vi gjort genom att analysera förarbeten och doktrin för att beskriva den rättsliga utvecklingen av jämställdhetslagen med dess aktiva åtgärder och jämställdhetsplaner som ett rättsligt medel för att öka jämställdheten i arbetslivet. Vidare har vi för att belysa hur jämställdhetsplaner fungerar i en del av verkligheten använt oss av litteratur på området, mailkorrespondens med JämO, utfört en telefonintervju med en fackförening samt varit ute på fem företag och intervjuat.

Today it is common to state that we are living in an information overloaded society. But there are many different definitions of what can be said to constitute Information Overload and there is a lack of substantial research on the subject. Conclusions in the available literature on Information Overload are often drawn on anecdotal evidence and carries a dramatized picture of the causes and effects of the phenomenon.With the tools of discursive analysis this two years master?s thesis explores how the phenomenon Information Overload is portrayed in six popular science books that deals with the subject: Alvin Toffler (1970) Future Shock, Orrin Klapp (1986) Overload and Boredom, Richard Wurman (1989) Information Anixety, Andrew Keen (2007) The cult of the amateur, Maggie Jackson (2008), Distracted and Nicholas Carr (2010) The Shallows. The result of the analysis shows that there is a common discourse of how the subject of Information Overload is represented, which stretches in and between the books intertextually.
