Syftet med denna studie var att belysa hur litteraturen beskriver hur syskon till barn med cancer mår, vilka behov de har och vad som görs för dessa syskon. Fjorton artiklar inkluderades i studien och dessa hittades i databaserna Cinahl och Medline (via Pub Med). Sökorden cancer, siblings, emotions, childhood neoplasms, feelings, neoplasms, coping och support har använts i kombination för att hitta artiklarna. Av studiens resultat framkom att många syskon fick förändrad livskvalitet. De kände sig oroliga för det sjuka barnet, en del fick beteende problem som försvann, medan andra kvarstod under en längre tid hos andra.

This master?s thesis deals with the issue of children?s theatre at the public library. I want to examine what purpose children?s theatre play for the children according to the children?s librarians, what different factors that may influence the purchase of plays to the public library and what the children?s librarians think of the children?s theatre at the public library at present and in the future. Interviews have been conducted with four children?s librarians, at different libraries, who are somehow involved in the purchase of children?s plays to the library.

The aim of this essay was to examine the impact that parents drug abuse have on their children´s chances and possibilities while growing up. This study is done by investigating literature written by acknowledged authors and experts in this field. The following questions were asked:How does the literature describe the influence of parent´s drug abuse on their child´s ability to develop and learn?Which factors does the literature distinguish as determining factors on the child´s ability to resist and recover, from a childhood with drug abusing parents?The result of this essay showed that having drug abusing parents constitute different types of risks when it comes to the child´s ability to develop and learn. How the child is able to cope with it´s parents drug abuse is determined by several factors such as, the situation in the family, the child´s personality and how people in the child´s surrounding react on the child´s needs..

Syftet med den här studien var att undersöka om mental trötthet leder till ökad diskriminering av överviktiga. Genom att använda en dual process-modell, inleddes undersökningen med en bedömningsuppgift som deltagarna fick utföra i labbmiljö. Vid ett senare tillfälle fick var och en ombesörja att de genomförde ett implicit associationstest (IAT), följt av en explicit graderingsfråga, där deltagarna uppskattade en eventuell skillnad i normal- kontra överviktigas mentala prestation. Syftet med dessa tester var att ta reda på om diskriminering mot överviktiga existerade inom gruppen i sin helhet på såväl implicit som explicit nivå. Hälften av gruppen hade genomgått en kraftig mental trötthetsbelastning före bedömningsuppgiften, med avsikt att se om bias mot överviktiga ökade vid mental trötthet.

The purpose of this study is to find out how teachers in preschool interact with children.By unstructured observations of teachers in preschool I intend to find out how they interact with children. Is it possible to see that the operation is built on guided interaction speciality?Positive interaction between adults and children is of importance to a good childhood and a child?s learning. I have asked myself how teachers interact with children in preschool. There are different ways of interaction.

The purpose of this essay is to study how parents of children with disabilities young people make their choice of support and service LSS. The study takes its lead from questions designed to determine which interventions parents use for their children. What parents think about today's choice and if satisfactory, or if they have other wishes. It is also about how parents experience the freedom of choice and participation in the selection of interventions. Furthermore how the parent discuss the topic of choice from childhood and parental perspective.

Since several lifestyle diseases are associated with obesity much research is carried out within the area. Researchers have found that oxidation of fatty acids within the body?s cells may give rise to peripheral signals which regulate food intake, but it is still unclear where such a mechanism takes place. Although much evidence suggests that it is the hepatocytes in the liver that send signals regulating food intake, some researchers have begun to question this theory. Instead they argue that the mechanism takes place within the enterocytes since they are well localised in the gut for such assignment.

Övervikt och fetma är ett hälsoproblem bland barn och ungdomar idag och beror främst på att vårt kaloriintag är större än vår energiförbrukning. Syftet med denna studie var att belysa och sammanställa forskning som beskriver olika omvårdande insatser som främjar hälsa hos överviktiga och feta barn och ungdomar. Metoden som användes var litteraturöversikt. Elva artiklar analyserades och sammanställdes och resultatet visades genom fyra teman som benämndes; att identifiera ohälsa, att vara en vägledare, att arbeta med motivation och att stödja familjen. Resultaten visade att identifiering av barn med fetma är viktig för att barnet ska få hjälp på ett tidigt stadium.

Fetma och övervikt är ett stort samhällsproblem, dåförhållanden under uppväxtåren är avgörande för framtida livsstilsvanor. Därförses de som den främsta och viktigaste målgruppen för folkhälsoinsatser.Dennastudie syftar till att undersöka coachers berättelser om uppfattningar kringvad samtal för att förebygga uppkomsten av övervikt och fetma innebär.Uppsatsenbygger på en kvalitativ ansats med inspiration av berättelseforskning. Intervjuär den metod som har använts. Totalt har tre personer som arbetar som coacherinom en interventionell forskningsstudie deltagit.Resultatetvisade att utan tidigare erfarenhet inom området uppfattas mångasvårigheter i att hålla samtal som coach. Att arbeta som erfaren coach innebäratt man uppfattar studiens deltagare som mer motiverade, medvetna, kapabla tillförändring samt ser empati som väldigt betydelsefullt för samtalen ochhoppfullt på studiens effekt.

The aim of this paper is to analyse how subject, gender and sexuality is constructed in the book Dårfinkar & dönickar (1984), by Ulf Stark. In relation to this I have also analysed how the main character, Simone, develops from being a child into becoming a teenager.Queertheory is the theoretical basis of this paper. Queer theory questions heteronormativity and aims to dissolve conceptions and notions that function in an excluding and limiting way. Queer theory also questions conceptions that seem obvious and/or natural, for example ?woman?/?man? and ?homo-/heterosexuality?.I have chosen to focus the analysis on a number key events in the book and they are categorised according to Tiina Rosenberg`s three dramaturgic concepts: transformation, unveiling and restoration.

Syskon till barn med cancer ägnas lite tid inom hälso- och sjukvården. De är ofta emotionellt försummade av hälso- och sjukvårdspersonal samt närstående. Syftet med studien var att belysa behovet av stöd hos syskon till barn med cancer. Metoden var en litteraturstudie innehållande totalt 16 vetenskapliga artiklar. Artiklarna var både av kvalitativ och kvantitativ ansats.

Fetma och psykisk ohälsa är två utbredda folkhälsoproblem som förutom att orsaka stor samsjuklighet, även ger stora ekonomiska förluster för samhällena. Den här systematiska litteraturstudien gjordes i syftet att undersöka eventuell förekomst av sambandet mellan fetma och psykisk ohälsa. I denna studie avses psykisk ohälsa som ångest, låg sinnesstämning och depression. Pub Med och Lib Hub användes för datainsamling. Vid urval av artiklarna var en av de huvudsakliga etiska principerna att artiklarna måste blivit granskade.

Bakgrund: Förekomsten av övervikt och fetma bland 6 till 16 år gamla svenska barn har ökat i takt med att fysisk inaktivitet har blivit allt vanligare. För att övervinna fetman måste åtgärder göras för att kunna öka den fysiska aktiviteten samt att man måste kunna förstå innerbörden med den. Syfte: Att beskriva vilken betydelse fysisk aktivitet har för svenska pojkar och flickor i grundskoleålder med övervikt och fetma. Metod: Studien genomfördes som en litteraturstudie, där tio artiklar har granskats. Resultaten sammanfattades efter att de mest meningsfulla enheter samlats och teman valts ut utifrån dessa.

This essay is about the Swedish Royal Foundations and especially the culture foundations. The Swedish Royal Foundations in culture are four. I?ve also made a short background about Royal engagement through foundations in history. I?ve given examples on what Royals in Sweden have done in the past and what they do today.

The purpose with my degree project is to investigate the use of computers within the daily activity in three preschools and one preschool class. I have designed a survey that I distributed to the staff. The purpose of my work is to investigate how a number of preschool teachers and children in a few preschools and one preschool class in a medium-sized Swedish town are using the computer in their activities.My study shows that the computer is frequently used, both of the children and teachers, but also together. The children in my study are using the computer to play games, listen to music, and go into the websitewww.youtube.com, but also in order to write and count.  The teachers primarily use the computer to document, check their e-mail and listen to music.
