Föräldrars uppfattning av kontakten med barnavårdscentralen

SammanfattningNästan 100 % av alla barn som föds i Sverige kommer i kontakt med BVC. Syftet med BVCs verksamhet är hälsoövervakning, rådgivning och att stödja föräldrar i föräldrarollen.Syftet med denna studie var att beskriva hur föräldrar upplever kontakten med BVC.Studien har en deskriptiv kvantitativ design och en kvalitativ del med analys av innehållet i de öppna frågorna. Den genomfördes i ett område i mellansverige. Alla föräldrar som besökte BVC under en vecka i oktober 2006 blev tillfrågade om att delta i studien. Tjugoen BVC fördelade på 18 olika städer/samhällen har ingått i studien.

THE PAINTING CHILD. A DISCOURSE ANALYSIS OF AESTHETIC PROCESSES OF LEARNING IN RELATION TO DEWEY´S ART AS EXPERIENCE.The aim of this study is to present a discourse analysis made on five-year-old children during art activities in a preschool in Sweden. The questions asked are: how does interaction take place between the children, or the child and the teacher, during art activities? And what does this tell us about the relationship to art in preschool? In Art as Experience John Dewey claims that art is separated from other experiences of life, but that it ought to be close to ordinary life-experiences. Today visual culture is important in society but not in school.

The purpose of this study was to find out who young people of today talk to about contraceptive. The main questions that we wanted to answer was from who young people wish to get information about contraceptive and whose advice they listen to and trust the most. Our purpose was also to illustrate the questions from a gender-perspective.We chose two equivalent rural districts, when it comes to the number of inhabitants. The young people who took part are students in ninth grade. We wanted to get a great sample so that the study would be representative of the population.

This thesis is based on an investigation to find out in what way 40 Swedish public librarieskeep and preserve their library materials. The investigation is based on inquiries sent outto the libraries. Att stödja föräldrar på Barnavårdscentralen (BVC) : En kvalitativ intervjustudie om BVC-sjuksköterskors erfarenheter

Att bli förälder är en omtumlande upplevelse. För de föräldrar som vill ha stöd ska detta också finnas tillgängligt för att de med trygghet ska kunna möta barnets behov och stärka dess utveckling. BVC-sjuksköterskan har en central uppgift när det gäller att ge stöd till föräldrar med barn i åldrarna 0-6 år. Syftet med studien var att beskriva BVC-sjuksköterskors erfarenheter av att ge stöd i föräldraskapet. Metoden som användes var en kvalitativ innehållsanalys med induktiv ansats beskriven av Lundman och Hällgren Graneheim.

The purpose of this study is to illustrate if structural factors to welfare indicators and the internal organisation of handle social assistance in combination with dominating ways of living with their values and norms can be used to explain why the costs of social assistance are low in Säffle township. The character of this study is exploratory, though important aspects in this case was unknown. The empiricism come from descriptive secondary statistics and from qualitative interwievs with three inhabitants in Säffle, whom are experts which means they know the township of Säffle and it´s inhabitants well. When young people are placed in residential care, the staff have a responsibility to ensure that the youth have a safe environment where they can thrive and develop. Residential staff also have responsibilities to ensure the rights of youth during the residential care. This study aims to examine how staff consider themselves to treat the youth in residential care. Furthermore the study aims to examine how the staff consider themselves to ensure youth their right to be heard and have an impact on their own lives, in agreement with Article 12 of the UN convention on the rights of the child (CRC). A qualitative method has been used in order to answer the study's purpose and issues.

Perspektiv på barn och barns inflytande : - Några pedagogers berättelser om sitt arbete med barn i en förskola i Indien

The aim with this study is to study how young children?s influence expresses itself in some educators? stories about their work with children. The study also looks at the relations between pedagogues? approaches to children and aims at identifying the educator?s perspectives of children. To get to know more about this I have interviewed five pedagogues who work with children in the ages of 3-6 years in different fields at a preschool area in India.The result shows that childrens? influence and participation for the educators involves children selecting activities.

Foot rot is a severe claw disease which occurs among sheep and goats in most parts of the world, with outbreaks in hot and humid weather. It is a contagious bacterial infection caused by Dichelobacter nodosus in association with Fusobacterium necrophorum. Foot rot has a negative impact on both animal welfare and economy.This thesis presents how Australia, Nepal, Norway, Switzerland, Great Britain, Sweden and Uruguay handle foot rot. In the selection of countries the focus was on countries that have control- or eradication programs against foot rot. There are differences in the climate, animal husbandry practices, animal welfare and economic resources in the countries that are presented.

Känner ni pressen? : En studie om hur socialsekreterares arbete påverkas av media

Det är sällan man läser i tidningar om det goda sociala arbetet som utförs av socialtjänster i Sverige. Den enskilde medborgaren vänder sig inte heller ofta till media för att få berätta om stödet och det goda bemötandet de fått av myndigheten. Däremot kan klienter kontakta media för ett sista försök till att få uppmärksamhet samt upprättelse i ett beslut. Denna kontakt i kombination med journalistens sökande efter nyhetsvärde kan resultera i artiklar där socialtjänsten arbete framställs negativt. Således kan en missvisande bild målas upp i media, särskilt hos människor som aldrig själva haft kontakt med myndigheten.

Sound and Play

AbstractThe project "Sound and Play" have been implemented in collaboration with the toy company BRIO in Malmo. The purpose of the project was to examine whether and how BRIO in the future could develop toys around sound for Toddlers.The problem formulations that would be answered after completion of the project was "How could BRIO broaden its product range with the help of audio toys?", "How can you combine toys and sounds in an interesting way for children?", "How do you create a toy with sound that is fun for the child, but not annoying for parents?". Currently BRIO only has two toys with sound in this age group.The expression of the toy was going to be a mix of classic and cool and the overall feeling of the toy was going to be explorative and arouse curiosity in the child. This feeling would be communicated through simplicity and joy.

Barns inflytande, delaktighet och intresse : En studie om samspel och förhållningssätt i förskolans vardag

The aim with this study was to give and receive an insight of children?s participation during one day in a preschool. Answers we were interested in finding out were how pedagogues act in relation to children´s influence, participation and interests and how this shows in the pedagogical context. Our own interest of children´s participation was influenced by the new revised curriculum that took place in 2010. Nowadays the pedagogues? have to be more active and reflect and document children´s influence and participation, and therefore we wanted to use this opportunity to create a picture of how pedagogues deal with these new guidelines.We have with an ethnographic inspired approach performed a qualitative study with data collected during one day with focus on children´s influence, participation and interest in one preschool section.According to the result children?s participation and influence this day were controlled by the pedagogue.

Barn med språkstörning möter svenskämnet i skolan : föräldrars berättelser

The overall aim of this study is to clarify the situation in school for children with language disorder from the parents? perspective.Data were collected through five interviews with parents who have children of different ages and with various diagnosis within the language disorder spectra. A qualitative method based on a narrative inquiry was used and each interview was based on a interview guide with the following themes: the child?s difficulties, starting school, the school?s pedagogy, homework, action plans, participation and the future.Each story has its own themes, but there are also themes that are common in all interviews. One common theme in the parents? stories is that school has a lack of knowledge when it comes to language disorder.
