Antologin består av tre bidrag som studerar betydelsen av arbete och arbetslöshet ur olika perspektiv. Två av de tre bidragen inriktar sig på lastbilschaufförer och privatrådgivares upplevelser av deras arbeten. Det tredje bidraget fokuserar på hur det är att vara ung och leva utan arbete, samt vilka konsekvenser det får för individen. I anslutning till våra frågeteman rörande arbete och arbetslöshet har vi genom mindre omfattande fältarbeten och kvalitativa intervjuer samlat in material till studien, som därefter analyserats med hjälp av Grundad teori-metoder. Analysen av materialet har bidragit till att olika teorier kring bland annat livsvillkor, sociala interaktion med andra, samt arbetsrelaterad stress, blivit centrala för antologin.

The purpose of this essay is to describe and analyze how three leisure centers in Örebrocounty are working with gender issues. Our research questions are:What is Machofabriken? How do leisure centers in Örebro county work with equal treatment?In which way do leisure centers in Örebro county work with Machofabriken?s material? Howcome the recreation centers in Örebro don?t use Machofabriken?s material to any greaterextent?We have focused on masculinity oriented gender projects at three leisure centers. We didsemi-structured interviews with three recreation leaders who have all been educated inMachofabriken. The interviews were analyzed based on terms that are central in genderequality and masculinity research.

This study focuses on an analysis of three text books in English, Prime Time, Second Time, and Third Time, written for Swedish pupils between grade seven and nine. The main focus of the study is to investigate to what extent the books may be considered to follow the steering principles of the Swedish education system. The theoretical backbone of the essay is centred on the construction and maintenance of stereotypes, and is written from a social constructivist point of view. In this context, I also reason around power relations and norms in the Western society ? arguments which I, in the main analysis, apply to the books in question.

The purpose of this paper has been to explore how Internet is perceived, with reference to youth, risk and responsibility, by a section of the population in North-West Skåne in Sweden. The questions central to our area of interest were:- Where does the responsibility for a safe Internet environment lie?- What measures are believed to be able to make Internet safer?- Are the opinions about safety on the Internet affected by an individual'sknowledge and experience of the Internet?- Is there an awareness of which institutions are involved in Internet safety?We compared the results of our survey with earlier surveys done by SAFT and Eurobarometern. Additionally we compared various categories such as gender and age to discover any patterns within the groups.There is a clear conflict in the answers given by the group we studied, between the desire to have access to all the information and experiences Internet has to offer and the desire to protect youth from inappropriate content and/or influences from unknown sources. While we did find concern regarding issues of safety we did not find any indication of "moral panic"..

Background: Patients with leg ulcer suffers often of woundpain. Healthcare professionals will strive after having knowledge and understanding for how woundpain influences the patient's quality of life. Aim: The aim is to elucidate the patient's experiences of pain at venous leg ulcer and the effects on their daily life. Method: The procedure has been a systematic literature overview with a systematic search in different databases. The search resulted in nine scientific articles.

Genom en kvalitativ undersökning har före detta IVIK-elevers upplevelser och tankar kring deras inledande tid i Sverige undersökts, för att se vilka företeelser, personer och händelser som har varit betydelsefulla för ungdomarna då de kommit till ett nytt land med en kultur olik den i deras hemländer. Undersökningen är baserad på intervjuer med kuratorn för introduktionsskolan i Uppsala, samt tre elever som kommer från olika delar av världen och som alla har gått på IVIK. Studien visar att språket är en nyckelfaktor för att kunna skapa nya relationer med andra människor, vilket är en mycket central och viktig del i ungdomarna liv. Fritidsaktiviteter är därefter den faktor som avgör hur väl ungdomarna trivs i det nya landet. This study aims to analyze the risks with building new households between railroads and shore, the focus of the study lays on Öbacka strand in Umeå municipality. The study also investigate if a land use conflict has taken place and how it was handled.The paper is based on different documents that was central for the work of planning the households and some interviews with operators that was highly involved with the planning of the area.The results shows that there is several risks with establishing new household between railroads and shores. Mainly because of the exposure of noise from the railways, though the risk for impact on the living environment for animals were low in this case there is a generally risk that it could get negative effects. It also a very important that the availability to the shore is secured. Planning in this type of area involves a great number of operators can easily cause a conflict due to the different perspectives on how the land should be used in the future, and also because of protecting different interests.

I Lgr 11 (Skolverket, 2011) står det att ingen ska utsättas för kränkande behandling. Uppsatsen belyser åtgärder som finns mot mobbning, vilket ingår under begreppet kränkande behandling enligt Skolverket (2004). Det finns otaliga åtgärder mot mobbning och en gemensam nämnare hos dem, som belyses i uppsatsen, är att kommunikation är viktigt för att kunna bekämpa mobbning.Syftet med undersökningen är att ta reda på hur man arbetar med åtgärder mot mobbning ute i verksamheten. För att ta reda på detta gjordes en kvalitativ studie där vi intervjuade sex verksamma lärare. Vi har även bearbetat litteratur och tillsammans med det och resultatet av intervjuerna har vi kunnat dra slutsatser.Resultatet av vår undersökning visar att kommunikation, likabehandlingsplanen, grupper som arbetar mot mobbning och kuratorn är viktiga åtgärder i arbetet mot mobbning.

This thesis deals with the ethical attitudes of professionals working with Methadone or Subutex assisted rehabilitation, concerning the constructed guidelines and directions from the Swedish National Board of Health and Welfare. The central themes in the thesis are: 1. What do professionals think of the rules concerning admissions to the rehabilitation programme? 2. What do professionals think of the rules/criteria for being excluded from the programme? 3.

This study is about Swedish football supporters located on the cheering section of the arena. These supporters are often being described as hooligans and as a threat to Swedish football. The aim of this study were therefor to provide further knowledge about the supporters on the cheering section and their culture. Questions about supporter behaviour and supporters own opinion on their effect at Swedish football and supporter culture were examined. The data was collected thru a web-based survey of Swedish football supporters.

Gärningsmannaprofilering (GMP) är en polisiär metod som används vid svårlösta utredningar. I Sverige praktiseras metoden av en central grupp vid Rikskriminalpolisen, den såkallade GMP-gruppen. Studiens övergripande syfte är att förstå och förklara GMP som polisiär metod, samt undersöka metodens effektivitet, korrekthet och vetenskaplighet. Ett särskilt syfte är att testa inlärningsteorin och rutinaktivitetsteorin gentemot GMP-metoden för diskutera eventuella samband. Studien är kvalitativt orienterad och bygger på den hermeneutiska teorin om tolkning av källor.

Syftet med detta arbete är att undersöka tre lärares arbete med läsförståelse, samt se om de har förändrat sina undervisningsmetoder när det gäller läsförståelse efter den nya läroplanen Lgr 11. Jag har presenterat tidigare forskning och litteratur som behandlar ämnet läsförståelse. Studien utgår från Vygotskijs sociokulturella teori för inlärning. En central tankegång i denna teori är att barn utvecklas i samspel med andra och att den sociala omgivningen har en stor inverkan. Med hjälp av kvalitativa undersökningsmetoder, vilket innebär intervju och fokusgruppsintervju, har jag tagit reda på lärarnas undervisningsmetoder gällande läsförståelse. Resultatet av studien visar att det har kommit material om undervisningsmetoder i läsförståelse som lärarna använder sig mer eller mindre.

The argument whether women should drink alcohol during pregnancy, has been debated for centuries. Women's drinking behaviour throughout the ages is not a static phenomenon but has changed in compliance with the customs of the time. The purpose of this study was not to evaluate if alcohol damages the unborn child, but rather to explore how women, who have just given birth and hence have become mothers, looked at alcohol in relation to pregnancy and motherhood. To accomplish this we have used a qualitative method with a semi-structured interview guide. What has turned out to be central to our conclusions is the fact that though, in today's society, there is access to newly produced science reports concerning alcohol in connection to injuries to the foetus, it is our belief that the demands and expectations directed on the mother are dominant in this matter..

Literature describes what it is like to be a leader in the healthcare and what is looked upon as the most characteristic quality for female leadership. Women often use a leadership technique that motivates the employee and they allow themselves to develop a humanitarian leadership. The aim of this study was to describe female head nurses? experience of their leadership in healthcare. The collection of data has been carried out from interviews.

Smärta är en av de vanligaste anledningarna till att människor söker vård. Omvårdnad vid smärta har en central roll i sjuksköterskan arbetsuppgifter. Traditionellt behandlas smärta med läkemedel samt specifika omvårdnadsåtgärder. För att utöka möjligheten till individuellt anpassad smärtlindring kan sjuksköterskan använda sig av komplementär- och alternativmedicin så som musikintervention. Komplementär- och alternativmedicin syftar till att lindra smärta genom att stimulera andra sinnen.
