Denna rapport beskriver mitt examensarbete som har varit ett forskningsprojekt inom materialet näver. Jag har genom min forskning undersökt om det går att introducera näver som en modern industriprodukt och kommit fram till att det är fullt möjligt.Jag har gjort en lång rad tester med nävern för att undersöka dess mångsidighet. Jag har försökt att limma ihop näver med och utan lim. Jag har kokat den, sytt i den, bränt den och destillerat den. Dessutom har jag tagit nävern till Linköping för att göra mekaniska hållbarhetstester och ta reda på vad den tål och inte tål.Slutligen har jag gjort två olika designer där nävern har en central roll i produkternas funktion och formspråk.

Idag finns det inte n?got krav p? elevh?lsa p? komvux eller p? yrkesh?gskolan. Samtidigt visar flera studier att vuxna elever i behov av st?d ?kar. P? komvuxutbildning l?ser eleven gymnasiekurser mot ett yrkesprogram och yrkesh?gskolan ?r en eftergymnasial utbildning som utbildar mot ett yrke.

AbstractThis act is about how five children with dyslexia consider and understands their diagnosis. It is also about their self-image, future sights and about how their school life is compared with before they got their diagnosis. The study is implemented autumn 2011 on a medium-sized school in central Sweden. The survey was implemented through interviews with the five children, of which four was girls and one was a boy. The study shows that the children understand their dyslexia relatively well, but that they experience that it is bothersome to live with dyslexia.

Kroppsuppfattning är starkt sammankopplad med passform på kläder. Med hjälp av kläder kan vi framhäva det vi är nöjda med men likaså dölja det vi är mindre nöjda med. Att skapa kläder som verkligen passar för sin målgrupp är den svåraste men också viktigaste utmaningen för konfektionsföretag. Studien genomförs därför som ett uppdrag för ett konfektionsföretag med syftet att undersöka hur god passform i överdels-plagg skapas.God passform kan beskrivas utifrån fem faktorer; trådrak, släthet, linje, rörelsemån och balans. För att uppnå god passform arbetar de flesta företag inom konfektionsbranschen med grundmönster.

Thirty years of gender equality politicsFrom women?s work to gender mainstreamingThis Bachelor thesis examines how the Swedish state has practiced gender equality as a political project during 1972 until 1999 through the budget bills, using a ?What?s the problem represented to be?? approach aiming to uncover which discourses policies are based on. The method also studies what assumptions underlie policy problems, what is left as unproblematic within the policies and what effects are produced by specific problem representations. A central question for the thesis is what has remained and changed within Swedish gender equality politics. The history of the Swedish welfare state is presented as a background on how gender equality policy has affected the everyday life of women and men.

Bakgrund Typ 2- diabetes är en kronisk sjukdom som ställer personen inför att leva sitt liv med ett förändrat hälsotillstånd. Förändrad livsstil är en central del av behandlingen vid typ 2- diabetes och detta ställer stort krav på ett lärande och personen blir beroende av sjukvården. Sjuksköterskans undervisande arbete har en central roll vid möte med patienten som har en kronisk sjukdom. Syfte Syftet är att beskriva de upplevelser av och förväntningar på patientundervisning som patienter med typ 2- diabetes har. Metod Denna uppsats är en litteraturstudie baserad på tio vetenskapliga artiklar 8 kvalitativa och 2 kvantitativa från sökningar i databaserna CINAHL och PUBMED.

What attribute affects salience on a political agenda? How come some reforms are implemented while others are not? These are essential and central questions for our society. Our society, our democracy and our everyday life are dependent of these factors; communication is the condition. In the 2011 budget from the Swedish conservative government, the question of lowering the VAT on restaurant- and catering services was the single most debated reform. This was occasioned from 2009 when the European Union allowed, for the first time since Swedish entry in 2005, a lower VAT on restaurant services.

With this study we aim to learn more about the process in creating an identity onFlashback Forum. We have observed four members of the forum to find what themesdefine thier way of making an identitity. Besides to our empirical material we foundearlier research that could support our study. The methods we used was qualitativesince we wanted to get a deep understandning for their behaviour. We found thattheese three themes were central: Language, Content and the feeling of beingAnonymous.

This master thesis starts in a wondering about the visions and ideas we have about thecity and about the urban. In Swedish about the term stadsmässighet, which can be translatedin to city-like, urban or urbanely, something that describes or contains features ofthe city. How do we use the city as a role model? Is urbane building the same as buildinga city? Is it about architecture and aesthetics or is building urbanely the way to makepopular cities? The central aim of this essay is to study visions and reality around urbanebuilding in order to understand the concept?s meaning and how it changes. My ambitionis that the essay will function as a discussion basis for students and planners.The work starts with literature studies where theoretical definitions and concepts aboutcities and about the urbane is investigated.

An ever-increasing population, urbanization and visions towards sustainable cities clarifies the need of densification. When densifying existing urban areas adding storeys could serve as a residential densification, which would also meet the market demand for centrally located apartments. An increased understanding of the potential of vertical densification gives way to the aim of this thesis to increase the amount of centrally located housing.This thesis provides knowledge of adding storeys and how property owners can identify opportunities in their existing building stock.The first question, What kind of residential densification takes place in Sweden today? highlights ways of residential densification; development of brownfields, infill and adding storeys, where adding storeys is what this thesis then focuses on. The result came through a literature review that also clarified important factors when adding storeys.

Resultatet visar att stora organisationer i Sverige är väl medvetna om vikten av goda medierelationer och hur de byggs och förvaltas. De använder dessutom tillgängliga verktyg vid mediekontakter på rätt sätt vilket ökar chanserna till en rättvis eller till och med fördelaktig spegling av organisationen i media. Studien visar att direktkontakt med journalister och att informationsfunktionen har en central roll i organisationens mediearbete är av högsta betydelse för att lyckas med medierelationer. Undersökningen bevisar dessutom att ett aktivt och strategiskt mediearbete kan påverka en organisations mediebild..

The study has shown that retailers in the mid-price segment differentiate their brand through developing a strong company identity around the brand. The personality involves store atmosphere, merchandise and advertising. Larger companies have chosen to lay the responsibility on management level, which facilitates on store level. By controlling the strategies on a central level the company can make sure that the stores are steered in the direction that the company wants them to be steered in, and also that they follow the positioning-concept. The company can also devote its efforts to working with its core value, which is service.

In 1993 Sweden introduced a new Forest policy, with a larger freedom of action for the forest owners, but in the same time the forest owners are expected to take greater consideration of the forests and the environment, that is required by the law. This is necessary to be able to obtain the goals of the new policy. Therefore the demand for competence and guidance is larger than before. At the same period of time organisations where slimmed and trimmed during a economic recession and the question is how this has affected the number of employees on different levels in the organisations, the competence of the employees and their internal education and if these changes affects the possibility of implementing the forest policy. This study contains three points in time where measures were made, 1990, 1995 and 2000.

Syfte Syftet med denna uppsats är att, utifrån ett fingerat fall, klargöra vilka faktorer som idag har störst betydelse för framgången av en direktinvestering i en produktionsanläggning för tillverkning av plastdetaljer i öst- och västeuropa. Syftet är också att utvärdera och förbättra den arbetsmodell för tillvägagångssätt vid lokaliseringsval som använts. Metod Uppsatsen bygger både på en kvalitativ och på en kvantitativ metod, vilka används parallellt. Arbetsgången följer den systematiska modell som Young et al föreslår, applicerad på ett simulerat fallscenario, och nödvändig information för de olika momenten i modellen är inhämtad från litteraturstudier, intervjuer och en enkät. Slutsatser Ett beslut om nyetablering genom direktinvestering kräver noggranna förberedelser, vilka både är tids- och resurskrävande.

This paper examines pupils? conception of the Swedish schools constitutive values expressed in the Swedish curriculum. The main question was, at to what extent the schools constitutive values have influenced the pupils conception of their own values. That question problematizes the relation between values, constructed and carried by central administration, and their interpretation at local level by pupils. The study was conducted with qualitative analysis which included qualitative interviews with seven pupils in the last year of the Swedish school system.
