Today, many discussions are taking place through different platforms concerning the huge problem of ill health within modern society. Ill health tends to affect both children and adults. For the adult sector ill health may lead to doctor?s notification of illness in the short term and on the long term permanent disability benefit. In the mass media there are often articles published that point out the rising number of people with sick pay and people being given permanent disability benefit.

At the moment in central Täby there are small district heating network operated by Fortum Heat. The distribution network has an annual heat demand of about 70 GWh, which is supported by the network's two plants, Galten and Farmen. Täby as a region is rapidly growing and there are grand plans to develop the area. Estimated market potential for a future district heating expansion in Täby is very high and as early as in 2007 Täby decided to invest in a large-scale expansion. In autumn 2009 Täby did a procurement process, known as the ?Täby initiative?, to find a partner that could implement those expansion plans. To secure a cheap basic production the partner also need to build a power plant at Hagby recycling center. Despite high interest during initial state of the process, only one procurement offer were received and Täby suspended the contract in March the following year.

The aim of this thesis was to answer a number of questions about the environmental consequences of aircraft de-icing. A further aim was to suggest how the environmental consequences due to the release of de-icing fluids can be measured and reduced.The main impact of the aircraft de-icing on the environment is due to the large oxygen demand for the degradation of glycol based de-icing fluids which are released in the environment. The effect of the increase in oxygen demand depends on where the degradation occurs in the ecosystem. In a sensitive ecosystem, the large demand of oxygen could provide an anaerobic environment which would be harmful for many types of organisms.In order to reduce the negative effects of the applied de-icing fluid, there is some type of collection system at every regular airport in Sweden. The methods of collection can be divided into two general groups, hydrological isolation or vacuum sweeper trucks.

Buffer zones play an important role for the water quality in our watercourses. When harvesting a forest close to a watercourse a buffer zone should be left. When it's not left, it will lead to radical changes in the environment for the water organisms. The overall purpose of this thesis was to illuminate the production- and environmental thinking when establishing new buffer zones in south of Värmland. The partials goals were to determine choice of tree species, ways of regenerate, occurrence of soil scarification and the occurrence of machine tracks in newly established buffer zones.

The phenomenon of social gaming is essentially an IT-service that people worldwideuses on a daily basis. This particular market is also young and generates tremendousamounts of data, which, from a data managing perspective, makes it naturallyinteresting. Throughout this thesis the social gaming market is described from the datamanaging and different actors perspectives. This is done by using literature reviewing,interviews with companies and analysis based on that information. The thesis initiallypresents important and central terms as well as different techniques.

Syftet med vårt examensarbete är att undersöka elevers förståelse för begreppen natur- och kulturlandskap i årskurs åtta samt i vilken omfattning elever uppfattar hur deras närmiljö används i deras undervisning. Dessa begrepp är valda då de utgör en central roll i kursplanen för geografi. Vår undersökning bygger på en kvantitativ enkätundersökning med uppföljande kvalitativa intervjuer. Vi har kommit fram till att eleverna har en viss förståelse för begreppen men har svårt att se helheten. 25 procent av eleverna kunde på ett tillfredställandet sätt förklara natur- och kulturlandskap.

The aim with this Masters thesis is to examine the professional knowledge of the librarian. The method used is text analysis of a state public investigation, SOU 1969:37, that concerns librarian education. The theoretical starting point is a theory of knowledge thats descended from Aristotle. Three different forms of knowledge are central concepts in the theory: the theoretical, the practical and the ethical. The main issue in this thesis is: In what ways did the investigators look at the librarians knowledge? Was it in a changeable period of time? In that case, what reasons could there be? The conclusion shows that educational political changes were affecting the whole educational sphere at the late 1960:s, and in the beginning of the 1970:s, including library education.

Syftet med mitt arbete är att presentera ett tematiskt arbete där skönlitteratur har en central roll. Syftet med arbetet är även att ge elever möjlighet att röra sig mellan olika föreställningsvärldar genom muntliga och skriftliga metoder. Min undersökning bygger mycket på Judith A. Langers lästeori men även andra forskares syn på skönlitteratur i undervisningen. Historiemedvetande är också något som diskuteras men är inte det huvudsakliga syftet med detta utvecklingsarbete.

Den här artikelns syfte är att undersöka lärares uppfattningar av handledda gruppsamtal som medel i lärares professionsutveckling. Studien är kvalitativ och tar utgångspunkt teoretiskt och metodologiskt i fenomenografin. Nio lärare har intervjuats på en grundskola i Jönköpings kommun, 2011. I resultaten framkommer att frågandet har en central roll i handledningssamtalet vilket möjliggör fördjupad reflektion med perspektivvidgning som leder till ett förändrat tankesätt hos lärare. Undervisningen utvecklas och anpassas till eleverna, som en följd av handledningen..

Studien har haft en hermeneutisk utgångspunkt där semistrukturerade intervjuer av kvalitativ metod har använts för att samla in data från fem studerande män i åldrarna 20-26 år. Syftet med studien har varit att belysa unga universitetsstuderande mäns erfarenheter av den manliga studentrollen i relation till alkoholkonsumtion. Vi har med Goffmans dramaturgiska perspektiv och Connells maskulinitetsteori tolkat resultatet. Det framgår att rollen som student har förväntningar på sig att gestaltas på specifika vis och att detta formar de individer som går in i denna roll. Lika så gäller för rollen som man, där vissa attribut och handlingar krävs av individen för att visa upp och markera tillhörighet till rollen.

Therefore we have chosen to focus our bachelor thesis in this particularly area and the needs for usable web services for the citizens. In this bachelor thesis we are studying a increasing group users, namely elderly citizens. During the study we have analysed E-governments ser-vices usability through usability tests. The combination of conversations and meetings with individuals, observations of interactions and literature studies give us the opportunity to explore the users needs.

Some trends have come to stay whilst others have shown to be less successful or the world has not been ready for them. (Larsson, a, 2002) Purpose: The purpose with this paper is to look at the historical development towards accounting for sustainability and to investigate what factors that might have hade an impact on this development.
