The aim with this paper is to investigate how the Social Democratic Party (SAP) deals with the question of economic migrants, or more specifically how the problem is represented by the Social Democratic Party, and how this representation has developed over time. The SAP's theory became recently contested by a competing theory that was caused by the predicted future demographic development in Sweden, combined with the EU's eastern expansion. This bachelor thesis in European studies examines the perceived effects ofEuropeanization among officers, soldiers and seamen in the Swedish Armed Forces(SAF) through the use of semi-structured respondent interviews. The study focuses onchange in rules, values, identity and organizational changes.The study shows the most important parts of what is believed to be the biggestfactors behind the major change in the SAF during the last 20 years. The biggestfactors are shown to be the fall of the Warsaw pact and the increasing influence ofNATO in Europe. Interviews show that staff within the SAF has difficultiesseparating change coming from the EU and the above-mentioned factors, partially dueto the fact that most members of the European union are also part of NATO. Energy is today a very common topic, not only in Sweden but in the whole Europe. In EU they have given out a directive 2002/91/EG about buildings energy use and throw this they have forced their members to show how much energy their buildings use. In Sweden has the gouvernment established a law (SFS 2006:985) about energy declaration for buildings which demands that the building owner needs to show how much their buildings energy consumption are. This study examines imagined boundaries between Swedes and non-Swedes. Rather than using pre-determined definitions as a starting point, the attempt is to examine the discursive construction of difference. The purpose is not to study the portrayal of immigrants per se but to examine how the ?immigrant-ness? is constructed. Studien visar hur värvningsprocessen påverkar upprätthållelsen och belyser hur organisationens sanktioner och sociala kontroll påverkar medlemmarna. Studien belyser även hur Jehovas vittnen förhåller sig till uteslutna medlemmar. Studien utgår från ett organisationsteoretiskt perspektiv för att förklara hur Jehovas vittnen lyckas ha ett starkt inflytande över sina medlemmar. Studien genomfördes med semistrukturerade intervjuer där sju avhoppare från Jehovas vittnen medverkade.

The conditions for art in Romania have gone through big changes since the collapse of the regime in December of 1989. Under the Communist regime the artists had to work within a dualistic system completely unlike the one that developed in the West during the same period.Similar to the other countries of the former Eastern block, the communist Romanian state had understood the great potential that art has as a form of propaganda. Thus the regime secured full control over the art that would be allowed into the public space. In response to the confines set on the artistic expressions, a non-official art began to develop alongside the official art of the state.These two layers of Romanian art history were dissolved when Ceausescu?s regime finally came to an end in 1989.

Kursplanen för svenska (Skolverket, 2000) återkommer ständigt till att litteraturen bör ha en central roll i undervisningen. Litteratur beskrivs som något man kan lära och uppleva genom, dels om sig själv, dels sin omvärld. Syftet med denna studie är att belysa vilken skönlitteratur lärarna använder i svenskundervisningen på högstadiet, hur den väljs samt hur lärarna väljer att arbeta med den. Våra informanter består av lärare, från två olika skolor med skilda förutsättningar. Av studien framgår att skolorna trots andra skillnader är relativt lika gällande skönlitteraturen och dess roll i svenskundervisningen, vilken samtliga lärare beskriver som central.

Syftet i denna studie var att studera förskolepersonalens uppfattningar om barns relationsskapande i leken utifrån ett genusperspektiv. Denna kvalitativa studie genomfördes med åtta semistrukturerade intervjuer med förskolepersonal från två olika förskolor. Detta för att vi ville veta hur personalen ser på barns relationsskapande. Vårt resultat visar att pojkar och flickor skapar relationer och leker på olika sätt men att förskolepersonalen vill arbeta utifrån ett könsneutralt sätt och lägga fokus på barns individuella egenskaper och intressen. I studiens resultat så beskrevs fyra olika kategorier som tydligt framkommit.

The cultural differences that Max will encounter may affect the business and result in to various adaptations that must be done in order to establish successfully. The thesis investigates the existing circumstances for the fastfood business in Saudi Arabia and shows which adaptations international fast-food chains should or must do as a result of the cultural distances they encounter.

Placed within the field of recent research concerning religion and contemporary religious landscapes, this thesis aims to show conceptions of human life and body displayed in ten Swedish health magazines. Our curiosity was awakened when we became aware that many social workers use "mindfulness" methods in their profession. In this study, we used qualitative methodology in our desire to examine and understand why the mindfulness approach, with its roots in eastern philosophy, is becoming established in society at large and, simultaneously, being used in the social work field. We were interested in when and why social workers choose to use mindfulness with their clients. Our prior research has revolved around development and use of methods in social work, and on the human reaction to stress.We conducted seven semi-structured interviews, which incorporated four comprehensive questions:1.
