With the modernization of society and the technological advances we have made in recent years, we are now using electronic payments more and more. We pay by card, Internet banking and mobile phone in addition to cash. The purpose of this paper is to follow Swedbank project "cash smart" and have it as a basis when we examine if we are heading for a cash-free society and what obstacles and opportunities there is for a cash-free society.Method:We have used a qualitative method to conduct interviews with two individuals involved in the project "cash smart" at Swedbank in Gävle.

Med energieffektivisering menas att man använder energi på ett effektivt sätt som ska leda till en positiv inverkan på miljö och samhälle.Sisjö Entré är ett köpcentrum som har en årlig energiförbrukning på 1 865 270 kWh och bör enligt Energimyndighetens riktvärde ha en årlig förbrukning på 1 530 000 kWh, alltså en minskning med 18 %. Köpcentret består av 17 butiker och i examensarbetet undersöks fem butiker vilka är Toys ? Us, Rusta, Burger King, Babyproffsen och Webhallen. I dessa utförs mätningar på ventilation och belysning med syftet att studera vilka laster i butikerna som orsakar mest förbrukning. Målet är att komma fram till förslag på åtgärder för att minska energiförbrukning samt kostnader.Vi kom fram till att belysning är den största lasten i handelslokaler vilka är Toys ? Us, Rusta, Babyproffsen och Webhallen medan den största lasten i restauranger (Burger King) är utrustningen i köket som står för 75 % av restaurangens totala förbrukning.I Rusta upptäckte vi att elmätarna visade lägre värden än den verkliga förbrukningen.

AbstractHannes Sundkvist: Uppror. En begreppshistorisk undersökning av ordet uppror och dess uppkomst i Sverige mellan åren 1525 och 1543, Uppsala universitet: Institutionen för idé- och lärdomshistoria, C-uppsats, Vårterminen, 2013. The following thesis is a conceptual historical study of the Swedish word uppror (rebellion) between the years 1525 and 1543. During this period, there occured five conflicts that in modern time have been named as rebellions. In my study I problematize the concept of rebellions and show that it is not possible to apply a contemporary definition to conflicts that erupted in the early 16th centrury. My purpose is to display how the word actually was defined during the time of the five conflicts.

However, it is difficult to determine when to stop the growth. Specific gravity can easily be measured and can sometimes be used as a tool for estimating the boiling properties. This report discusses different aspects of the specific gravity of the potato and how it can be used as a tool to determine the appropriate time for vine killing.

Since the nineteen-fifties, the American political scientist Robert Dahl (born in 1915) has been one of the most prominent democracy theorists in the world. In the book Politics, Economics, and Welfare, he and his colleague Charles E. Lindblom in 1953 introduced the notion of polyarchy as a denomination for the incomplete democracies of the Western world. Linguistically speaking, this notion was formed in connection with the ones already existing in the philosopher Aristotle's (384-322 B.C.) comparative teachings on government. Later, it has become apparent that the notion of polyarchy has already been in use by other authors, such as Johannes Althusius (1614) and Sir Ernest Barker (1947).Robert Dahl has been active at Yale University (in New Haven, Connecticut, USA), and is regarded as one of the foremost representatives of the political-science discipline known as pluralism.

After the last is age there was a long period when there was no shortage of forest for peoples needs. People living in Sweden could use the forest resources at their will. Around 4000 years BC the inhabitants of southern Sweden started to use the agricultural system and people become more stationary. The farms were located together in groups and together they formed a social association, the village. Successively the population grew and in some areas the forest started to become a finite resource.

Due to the developments in today's gender discussions, this essay aimed at investigating the gendered constructions and encouragements to consumption. As a former fashion student I have a special interest in the commercial constructions featured in fashion magazines, especially since advertising, fashion and perceptions of gender have long walked hand in hand. Just as feminism studies have shown femininity being a fluid identity, recent studies of masculinities, media and culture are also showing changes in the depictions of men.The aim was to clarify how fashion magazines encourage men and women to consume products and ideals, and also discuss the gender constructions occurring in the junction of editorial and commercial text (articles and advertisements). The analysis was thereof based on three main questions:-       How is consumption encouraged in male and female fashion magazines?-       What kind of gendered pattern appears in the junction of advertisement and editorial text?-       With regard to the gender constructions, what is the reader encouraged to consume?The theoretical framework of the analysis was based on gender studies and political economy, mostly describing a commercial perception of feminine journalism and a new metrosexual expression in men?s fashion and lifestyle magazines.By using a combination of quantitative (content analysis) and qualitative (semiotics) approach two fashion magazines, Elle and King Magazine (published in May 2013) were used as representatives of fashion magazines in general.The results showed clear differences between the sexes.

This essay presents a comparative study of the Swedish articles of war of year 1621 and 1683 which aims to, through analysis, assess the extent of the development in Swedish army legislature during the 17th century and to derive the likely underlying causes for this development. The study is in large comprised by a detailed comparison of the two collections of articles of war in order to determine the practical changes to the legislature that occurred between the years that they came into force..

This study deals with the compulsory reading of the public announcements in churches during the eighteens century. The focus is on the diocese of Skara. The ambition to make a comparison between the parish of Skara and the parish of Gårdstånga, earlier investigated by Elisabeth Reuterswärd, failed due to few archives from the parish of Skara. My study takes a broader perspective of the signification of the announcements to the reverends and to the churchgoers. It was an obligation to the reverend to read, collect and save the announcements and the churchgoers were by law obligated to go to church every Sunday.

Reklambyråns roll har länge varit att kommunicera sina kunders eller dess produkter/tjänsters önskade värden till marknaden. Tjänsten som reklambyrån under hela sin historia tillhandahållit har varit kreativitet. Reklambyråns position har under dess historia dock förändrats när reklambranschen blivit allt mer specialiserad med bl.a. webbyråer och PR-byråer. I och med effektiviseringar hos högfrekventkommunicerande företag som idag gör egna produktionsinköp kan reklambyråerna inte längre ta ut de marginaler från underleverantörer, till exempel tryckerier, som tidigare gav byråerna bra betalt för sina tjänster.

Jag har med hjälp av King-Fullerton modellen jämfört den effektiva marginalskatten på sparande och investeringar i realkapital. Jag har jämfört sparande i företagssektorn, där jag tittat på investeringar i aktiebolag, och bostadssektorn, där jag tittat på investeringar i egen villa, bostadsrättsfastighet och hyresfastighet från år 1985 till 2008. Resultaten visar att det nya och mer balanserade skattesystemet som infördes år 1991 innebar en sänkning av den effektiva marginalskatten för nästan samtliga sektorer i studien. Efter fastighetsskattens avskaffande år 2008 kommer incitamenten att spara i bostadssektorn öka kraftigt jämfört med investeringar i företagssektorn och det kommer att bli en tydlig snedvridning i skattesystemet..

Too many dogs are euthanized because of different kind of behaviour problems today. Is it really necessary? Who has the main responsibility for this action? Do breed differences matter when it comes to increased risk of euthanasia of the dog? The purpose of this piece of work is to find the answers to these questions and also to find out what kind of behaviour problems that can lead to euthanasia of dogs in general. The most common reason for dogs being euthanized is aggression. The aggression can be directed toward humans or other animals, mostly other dogs. There are some important factors of the dog that increases the risk of being euthanized, and these are the breed, the gender and sexual status and also the size of the dog.

Charles Hartshorne (1897-2000) was a religious philosopher. He adopted and developed the cosmologic thinking and concept of God from the philosopher Alfred North Whitehead, he was also influenced by Heidegger, Spinoza and other philosophers. According to Whiteheads religious philosophy Hartshorne claimed that there is a dualistic transcendence within the Godhead. A dualistic transcendence where one unity/transcendence of God is abstract, outside the creation and time and therefore is eternal. The other unity (or transcendence) is inside time and creation and closely in process to it .
