Många människor i alla åldrar insjuknar varje år i cancer. I Sverige insjuknar mer än 7000 personer i åldrarna 20-54 år. I denna åldersgrupp är det många som har barn. Dessa barn kan ha blandade upplevelser och reaktioner på sin förälders sjukdom, vilket kan vara av vikt för sjuksköterskan att känna till, för att kunna ge dessa barn ett bra stöd. Syfte: Syftet var att beskriva barns upplevelser och coping-mekanismer av att leva med en förälder som har cancer.

Kejsarsnitt är den enda möjliga metoden för att förlösa levande kalvar när en vaginal förlossning är ogenomförbar. Trots detta har endast drygt hälften av de svenska nötpraktikerna någon gång utfört ett kejsarsnitt. Det kan ställas i relation till situationen i Nederländerna och Belgien där rasen belgisk blå är vanlig. Praxis vid uppfödning av belgisk blå är att undvika vaginala förlossningar till förmån för planerade kejsarsnitt. Syftet med litteraturstudien är att klargöra vid vilka typer av dystoki som kejsarsnitt är indikerat och vilka alternativ som finns samt att beskriva varför det utförs rutinmässigt på rasen belgisk blå. För att ge läsaren ett sammanhang beskrivs först kons normala anatomi och fysiologi ur ett kalvningsperspektiv. Vid kalvning stöts kalven ut ur livmodern genom cervix och vagina.

Överviktsepidemin är ett utbrett folkhälsoproblem som är svårt att få bukt på, PREnet är en av många aktörer som arbetar för det. Frågan som inledningsvis ställdes var om själviakttagelseformulär är en effektiv metod för att kunna förändra beteenden som är relaterade till övervikt och med hjälp av detta minska i vikt. Syftet var att utvärdera själviakttagelseformulär som en metod i PREnets viktminskningsprogram. Deltagarna (n=38) var representerade från fyra PREnet-anläggningar. De ombads att registrera lämpliga och olämpliga vanor relaterade till övervikt, upp till sex månader.

This study aims to investigate, describe and discuss the views of a group of adolescents on their identity and the process of second language acquisition. They all came to Sweden and started studying in Swedish schools in the last three years without any knowledge of the Swedish language.The study has been conducted with respect to the adolescents own perspectives and what they consider important.The methods used are group discussions/ interviews, observations in class and informal discussions with teachers and adolescents.Their voices are described and discussed in this paper. One must take into consideration that there is no objective of being neutral or to generalize the results to any other group or category. On the contrary the study has involved critical self- scrutiny and active reflexivity according to ethnographic tradition.Symbolic interaction has provided a theoretical framework for the study. Looking into how social identities may be constructed or communicated from the adolescents voices and looking in to their use of language the study reveals that several expectations and situations need? to be met by different identities.
