Att arbeta i projekt har blivit vanligare i dagens organisationer. En bransch där projekt ochprojektledare är ofta förekommande är eventbranschen, eftersom ett evenemang precis som ettprojekt, har ett tydligt start- och slutdatum. För ett framgångsrikt projekt är effektivitet viktigthos projektledaren och uppsatsen behandlar därför effektivt projektledarskap. Effektivitet ärett komplext begrepp och därmed svårt att definiera, vilket även effektivt projektledarskap är.Uppsatsens syfte är därför att få en tydligare bild av vad detta innebär inom eventbranschen.Den belyser även kompetenser och färdigheter som är av betydelse för en effektivprojektledare.Uppsatsen baseras på en kvalitativ undersökning där semistrukturerade intervjuer utgörempirin. Intervjuerna är genomförda med sju respondenter från fem olika eventorganisationersom arbetar i projekt.

This analysis explores the psychosocial aspects in relationship to the occupational role as a correctional officer in Sweden. Historically prisons are hierarchically structured with a military organisation used as the basis for a role model. This military type structured organisation is designed to keep the prisoners under constant observation, thus providing direct authority and control by the prison guards over the prison inmates. Data obtained from investigations conducted by the Swedish Government indicate a direct link between the prisoners's living conditions and the prison employee's work duties and environment. The data strongly suggests that the work needs of prison guards have significant priority over the general work conditions of inmates, thus showing that the status for the occupational role was relatively low.

Examensarbetet är en fallstudie med förslag till förändringar åt uppdragsgivaren som ägnar sig åt tredjepartslogistik. Uppdragsgivaren är Kriminalvårdsanstalten Smälteryd i Sätila som ligger i Marks kommun. Anstalten utför logistiska aktiviteter mellan Monzon AB och dess kunder. Monzon AB är i sin tur ett företag som säljer - och till viss del hyr ut - byggnadsställningar, väderskydd och säkerhetsprodukter till företag runt om i Europa. I dagsläget finns ett antal logistiska problem på Smälterydsanstalten vilka i detta arbete identifieras och analyseras.

A lot of mine waste rock and tailings arise from all mining processes and have to be stored in an appropriate way. Tailings are deposited in impoundments retained by tailings dams. The objective of tailings dams is to retain the slurry from the mining process and in that way prevent spill into the surroundings that might be harmful for the environment. Tailings dams are often constructed as staged embankments so that construction costs and demand of materials are spread more evenly over the period of deposition.The objective of this thesis has been to compile information about and evaluate events at Swedish tailings dams and also to develop a collective database for all Swedish mining companies for all tailings dams and all events that occur at tailings dams.Information about 60 events at Swedish tailings dams has been gathered and evaluated. The evaluation has been performed by comparison between and analysis of individual parameters and also by use of a multivariate statistical method called PLS.

The purpose of this study is to compare the contents, editorials and front covers of Sweden?s oldest girl?s magazine Veckorevyn during two different years, in which the magazine had two very different chief editors.In the year 2000, Emma Hamberg got the job as editor-in-chief for Veckorevyn, with a vision of changing the way the magazine represented young females. She wanted to add a more feminist viewpoint to the magazine, since she felt that Veckorevyn didn?t live up to its claim of being ?a girl?s best friend?. Six years later, the famous Swedish fashion editor Ebba von Sydow became editor-in-chief for Veckorevyn, with the intention of making the magazine better, smarter and more fun for young girls.

Syfte: Syftet med studien är att med statistiska mått undersöka om företags aktiekurs reagerar på ett vd-byte samt se hur ledarskap påverkar företagets rörelseresultat ur ett genusperspektiv. Metod: Undersökningen är en eventstudie som innefattar åtta stycken företag. Eventstudiens estimeringsfönster omfattar 56 dagar innan eventfönstrets 29 dagar, där aktiekursens rörelse undersöks. Varje företags enskilda procentuella förändring i rörelseresultatet kommer att studeras två år innan och två år efter ett vd-byte har inträffat.Teori: Undersökningen utgår från effektiva marknadshypotesen, agentteorin och signalteorin.Empiri: Resultaten för aktiekursens abnormala genomsnittliga avkastning (AAR) och den kumulativa genomsnittliga avkastningen (CAAR) visas i diagram, detsamma gäller för företagens procentuella förändring i rörelseresultatet. En jämförelse dras mellan företag som har genomfört ett kvinnligt vd-byte mot företag som har genomfört ett manligt vd-byte.Slutsats:Aktiekursen för företag som har genomfört ett kvinnligt vd-byte har cirka 10 procent högre förändring i AAR än för företag som har genomfört ett manligt vd-byte.Aktiekursens lutning på CAAR för företag med en kvinnlig vd är starkare än för företag där det har skett ett manligt vd-byte.

Although textbooks are scientifically proven that they are important and central to the school curriculum one should think critically about the content in textbooks - is it really compatible with the curriculum of following the textbook tradition? As a teacher there are different ways to reflect on which textbook to choose. It is important to compare several textbooks with each other and be aware that a textbook should follow the curriculum. A teacher examines many sections/topics in the textbooks, but in this paper only one section will be reviewed among four different textbooks. The section to be compared, in the paper, is the interwar period.

This thesis is the result of the investigation and solution of a mechanicalproblem regarding flywheel malfunctions. A flywheel is, in short, a devicethat relies on a rotating object?s moment of inertia to store energy overshort time spans. This project is part of the development of a fourthflywheel prototype at the division for electricity at Uppsala university,which uses magnetic levitation to keep a hollow cylinder rotating at veryhigh speeds inside a vacuum chamber. Should the magnets fail however, orsome other error occur that leads to an uncontrolled state of rotation, thecylinder needs to be stabilized mechanically by a device usually referredto as ?back-up bearing?.

Background: In the past 10 years private label has increased significantly in the Swedish grocery market. This is an important strategic event, which is a great challenge to suppliers as it causes stiff competition. To handle this situation an increasing number of suppliers have to make the decision whether to produce private label or not.Purpose: The purpose of this study is to find and analyse factors that influence suppliers in the Swedish grocery market to produce private label. On this basis we intend to confirm or develop existing theories within the field of study.Research method: The study has a qualitative approach where empirical data has been gathered through interviews with suppliers and retailers in the Swedish grocery market.Results: This study has identified factors that underlie suppliers? decision to produce private label.

Sverige genomförde vid årsskiftet 2012/2013 ytterligare en sänkning av bolagsskatten. Denna gång från 26,3 till 22 procent. Målet med sänkningen var att hamna under EU?s genomsnittliga bolagsskattenivå vilket skulle minska företags incitament till att fly Sverige för lågskatteländer. Samtidigt ville regeringen minska företagens skuldsättningsgrad.I teorin sjunker värdet på skatteskölden vid en bolagsskattesänkning och därmed också värdet på företagen.

The right to freedom of conscience is protected by international conventions and declarations of human rights that have been ratified by Sweden. Nationally, the issue of health professionals? right to freedom of conscience in the abortion care is not resolved by public inquiry. This has led to that Sweden has been notified to the European Committee of Social Rights on the grounds that the country is considered to be violating the Council of  Europe Resolution 1763 and that the proper question to be determined by regulations of the interests that are balanced, based on their legal value in relation to each other. Freedoms, rights and obligations conflict with each other.

My goal with this thesis was to investigate how educational material in the subjects of history, geography and social studies relate to the fact that Sweden has a history marked by prejudice and racism.I have chosen to focus on four areas in the Swedish history that I think deserves some special attention, these four areas have been: the Swedish slave trade on the island of Saint Barthelemy in the eighteenth century, Swedish eugenics and oppression of the Sami people, forced sterilization services during the twentieth century and Sweden's aid and concessions to Nazi Germany during World War II. With these areas in focus I?ve studied three textbooks in the courses Geography A, Civics A and History A to se how they deal with prejudice and racism in the Swedish history.The result I have come to is that none of the books addresses all four of the areas I?ve focused on. Even if the books are taken as a whole the image that they convey is not adequate. In the event that the four areas that I?ve focused on been mentioned the information have been scant and rarely, if ever, has Sweden been paired with phenomenons like racism, slavery, colonialism, eugenics, forced sterilization, etc.

Syfte: Huvudsyftet med studien är att undersöka om avkastningen på den svenska aktiemarknaden påverkas av terroristattacker. Delsyftet är att vid en eventuell påverkan undersöka om reaktionen skiljer sig mot landet där attacken skett samt hur lång tid det tar för de olika aktiemarknaderna att återhämta sig.Teoretiskt perspektiv: Den teoretiska referensramen utgörs av teorin om den effektiva marknadshypotesen samt behavioral finance med fokus på flockbeteende.Avgränsningar: I studien undersöks åtta olika terroristattacker och dess påverkan på aktiemarknaden i Sverige och landet där attacken skett.Metod: Studien är kvantitativ och använder ett deduktivt angreppssätt. För att besvara frågeställningarna tillämpas en eventstudie där två eventfönster används. Ett eventfönster på en dag och ett längre på elva dagar samt en estimeringsperiod som omfattar 30 dagar. Insamlad data används för att mäta den avvikande avkastningen som eventuellt uppstår efter att en terroristattack ägt rum vilket säger om attacken haft någon påverkan.Slutsatser: Terroristattacker har en påverkan på den svenska aktiemarknaden och i de flesta fall är påverkan negativ.

Introduction: The number of hearing impairments in Sweden is increasing. The largest increase is seen in ages 25-44. There are reasons to believe that these impairments are noise induced. Leisure time noise is not controlled in the same manner that industrial noise is. An ongoing conflict between city council officials and rock club owners, musicians and music event organizers about sound levels at smaller live music clubs exceeding the national sound level restrictions created the need for an acoustic intervention project.

This thesis explores in which ways the portrayal of the event known as the Stockholm bloodbath has changed during the period 1869-1996. This is done through textbook analysis. In Sweden, history has been a school subject since the 17th century, and has throughout its history had a formative role in the Swedish school system. In the middle of the 19th century it was specifically stated that the aim was to help students nurture a sense of national pride and love of country. The aim of the study is to investigate how nationally loaded events have been portrayed in text books, as well as if and how the evolution of said textbooks reflect the evolution of the history subject as a whole.
