This M.Sc. thesis is a material application evaluation commissioned by the advanced body engineering department at SAAB Automobile AB. The purpose of the thesis is to evaluate implementation of the innovative sandwich design material Hybrix into an automobile body. Today the most commonly material used in the body is galvanized steel sheets and by shifting material to Hybrix several problematic issues have to be dealt with. Hybrix is an innovative sandwich sheet that inherits thin stainless steel face sheets and a stainless steel fibrous core.

This investigation?s task was to map manufacturing of special qualities at Stora Enso Packaging under a certain period, analyze if rules concerning special qualities is followed, which consequences this results in concerning use of paper, waste and costs and to give suggestions on alternative solutions. The goal was to give sugges-tions that help the company to reach its business ratio that the production de-partment uses within use of paper and productivity in the corrugated cardboard machine.Stora Enso Packaging is a part of the forest group Stora Enso and is one of Swe-den?s leading producers of corrugated cardboard. Stora Enso Packaging acts pri-mary on the Swedish market, where they have a market share of 25 %.To be able to analyze orders with special qualities we did a data collection during two months, where we mapped incoming orders.

Laboratoriet forskar på enny gasturbincykel som producerar kraft, värme, kyla och vatten. Cykeln är kallad High PressureRegenerative Turbine Engine (HPRTE) och kombinerat med gasturbincykeln är ettabsorptionskylsystem (VARS). Kylsystemet drivs av spillvärme från avgaser som cirkuleras igasturbinen, den producerade kylan används för att kyla ned högtryckskompressorinloppet.Syftet med det här examensarbetet är att undersöka möjligheten till att kyla ned inloppet tillkompressorn till temperaturer långt under fryspunkten för vattnet i den fuktiga gasen. Om gasenskall kylas till nivåer under fryspunkten måste vattnet föras bort från gasen.

 The purpose of this study was to study social work models to explain addiction in the assessment of response to people with addictions. This study investigated how social workers' explanations are shaped by their experiences, theoretical points influenced by research in a discretion is affected by organizational conditions, manuals, evidence-based practice and national guidelines in an investigative process. The material in this study has emerged through interviews with four social workers in the social services department for addiction and dependence. The essay is a qualitative study with personal interviews as the basis for the result. The study begins with a description of addiction and dependence, current laws on the matter, and officer's work.

This study was a degree in Master of Science in agriculture with specialization in animal science for the Department of animal nutrition and management at SLU. The subject was created by AS-Faktor, a small company for science and development within the company Lantmännen AB. It was a test of the effect of SPC (Special Processed Cereals) on induction of the endogenous protein AF (an antisecretory factor) in plasma and intestinal lumen in broilers. Previous results have shown positive effects on different intestinal diseases in pigs, horses, dogs as well as in humans. Beside the induction we also studied the effects on results in a conventional slaughter chicken production, including the ability of SPC to compete with or be affected by the coccidiostat, Salinomax.When diarrhoea occurs, it's because there is an imbalance between the secretion and the absorption and it can be caused by for example toxins.

Today, a large proportion of wood supplied for the Swedish forest industry is bought from private forest owners while forest companies at the same time provide the forest owners with services such as logging services and transportation. Today, forest companies work extensively with keeping the time used for transport and logging short. But what does the private forest owners think about the time required for the timber deal, also called lead time, and the different parts of the timber deal. In this thesis, the forest owners? perception of the different lead times in their contracts with Stora Enso and their communication with the purchasers is examined.

Komponentavskrivning blev aktuellt i samband med att EU valde att följa de standarder som IASB utfärdade. Efter införandet av K3-regelverk för svenska företag kom det att bli ännu mer aktuellt med komponentavskrivning i Sverige.Då tidigare forskning har riktat kritik mot komponentavskrivning, fann vi det intressant att undersöka vilka svårigheter som kan finnas med komponentavskrivning i ett petrokemiskt företag utifrån två olika perspektiv. Med detta som grund valde vi att undersöka vilka svårigheter som fanns utifrån ett redovisningsperspektiv och ett operativt perspektiv samt att undersöka hur interaktionen går till mellan dessa två perspektiv.Den teoretiska referensramen i arbetet innefattar svensk praxis, IAS 16, K3-regelverk, komponentavskrivning, kritik mot komponentavskrivning, redovisningsfunktionen och operativa verksamheten. AbstractThe project "Sound and Play" have been implemented in collaboration with the toy company BRIO in Malmo. The purpose of the project was to examine whether and how BRIO in the future could develop toys around sound for Toddlers.The problem formulations that would be answered after completion of the project was "How could BRIO broaden its product range with the help of audio toys?", "How can you combine toys and sounds in an interesting way for children?", "How do you create a toy with sound that is fun for the child, but not annoying for parents?". Currently BRIO only has two toys with sound in this age group.The expression of the toy was going to be a mix of classic and cool and the overall feeling of the toy was going to be explorative and arouse curiosity in the child. This feeling would be communicated through simplicity and joy.
