I denna studie har vi undersökt förutsättningarna för likvärdig bedömning i den nya läroplanen för gymnasiet. Bakgrunden till studien är vårt intresse för den skoldebatt som under flera år lyft frågor kring betygsinflation, bedömningspraxis och bristerna med den föregående läroplanen. Vi har genom intervjuer med sju gymnasielärare på fyra lika skolor, verksamma inom ämnena Svenska och Matematik undersökt vilka strategier de använder sig av vid bedömning, hur dessa skiljer sig mellan skolorna och hur detta i slutändan påverkar likvärdigheten. Vi har i litteraturen studerat rapporter från utbildningsdepartementet, Skolverket och andra myndigheter, nationell och internationell forskning, samt modern litteratur som berör bedömningsfrågor i samband med Gy 2011. Resultaten från intervjuerna visar på en ökad tilltro till den nya läroplanen, som upplevs tydligare och mer enhetlig än den föregående läroplanen Lpf94.

AbstractBackground: Cancer is a leading cause of death worldwide and accounted for 7.6 million deaths, about 13% of all deaths, in 2008. Several factors can affect patients' quality of life such as physical and psychological symptoms, relationship to people around and the environment. In palliative care professionals need to have good knowledge in order to improve patient quality of life and to give them as good a life as possible in the final stages of life.Aim: The purpose of this overview study is to describe the experiences of quality of life in patients with incurable cancer.Method: We conducted an overview study that was based on ten scientific articles. All articles are qualitative studies, from the year 1995 - 2011, and are from Sweden, Finland, UK, Canada and the USA. Qualitative analysis was used to group the various themes and subthemes for overview study purpose.

For one month during the beginning of 2011, the world followed the violent events in Libya. During this time the United Nations was faced with a complex question, could they handle the ongoing violence and find a solution to the killings or would the hostile situation go on. We now know what happened, but not why. It is this question that this essay aims to answer. The aim of this thesis is to investigate and analyse the debate of ideas on gender equality policy during 1998 - 2011. The questions raised in this thesis are; which gender equality policy ideology has prevailed during 1998 - 2011, and which ideological orientation have the different ministers of gender equality expressed during the same period of time? I have conducted the study by analysing government publications and debate articles against a ideological framework consisting of different types of feminist theory. In order to get a result as representative as possible, I have only used the material from each of the ministers during their time in office. The research method that I have used when analyzing the material is qualitative text analysis.

Denna uppsats syftar till att göra en religionsvetenskaplig analys av filmen Thor från 2011.De grundläggande metoderna som använts i arbetet är en diskursanalysmetod som är influerad av Simon Lindgrens populärkulturella arbetsfält, och en komparativ studie av Joseph Campbells teoriom monomyten.Våra tolkningar och arbetet kommer fram till att Thor passar in i Campbells teori om monomyten.This essay aims to make a religious scientific based analysis of the movie Thor from 2011.The basic methods used in this work are a discourse analysis, influenced by Simon Lindgren?s popular culture field of expertise, and a comparative study of Joseph Campbell's theory of the monomyth.Our interpretations and this work concludes that Thor fits into Campbell's theory of the monomyth. The results imply that Campbell's theory proves to be applicable in modern times narration on film. Events and actors in the film fit with several elementary parts in a hero-myth according to Campbell..

Syftet med detta examensarbete var att analysera en del av det undervisningsmaterial som producerades i samband med Kemins År 2011 och empiriskt undersöka gymnasielärares syn på materialets användbarhet i gymnasieskolans kemiundervisning. Detta gjordes med hjälp av innehållsanalys, respektive en webbaserad enkät och uppföljande intervjuer. Min analys visar att materialet från Kemins År 2011 stämmer väl överens med syftet med kemiämnet enligt ämnesplanen i kemi för gymnasieskolan, och till stora delar med det centrala innehållet i kurserna Kemi 1 och Kemi 2. Det som kunde utvecklats mer var områdena analytisk kemi samt reaktionshastighet och kemisk jämvikt. Materialet stämmer även väl överens med elevers intressen, framförallt det som handlar om människokroppen. Kemikalendern relaterar till elevers intressen om aktuell forskning, medan de populärvetenskapliga artiklarna relaterar till elevers intressen om rymden och kemiska risker. En majoritet av gymnasielärarna i studien är positiva till att använda materialet från Kemins År 2011 i kemiundervisningen.

This thesis report describes the development of concepts regarding how weight can be reduced to the analytical instrument Biacore 4000. This thesis has resulted in five different concept proposals, all of which is solutions to reduce the instrument's weight.The thesis started with a pre-study where the instrument's structure and function were studied using both Solid Works, the opportunity to study the instrument in real life were also possible done. During this phase, a weight study was conducted as well, in which the instrument's weight distribution was studied and mapped.Following the initial phase, the work proceeded by developing concrete concepts to reduce the weight of the instrument where focus mainly was on the two cabinets. In addition, another two concepts were revealed, both with a more general approach.At the final phase of the thesis, the concepts were compiled and evaluated among themselves and the initial instrument.The thesis resulted in a study of the instrument's structure and weight distribution, with suggestions on how weight may be reduced for the instrument.The result factors such as materials, and manufacturing were aspects that were taken into consideration.At the final section of the report, suggestions for further work in which different aspects are discussed can be found..

This report aims to study the condominium prices in central Stockholm and the factors thataffect these prices. A linear regression model was set up and data about relevant covariatessuch as floor area, mortgage rates and where the condominium is situated were gathered toassess if and how they influence the price. The raw data was processed and enhanced to gain asmuch relevant information as possible to the model. To determine the covariates? influence onthe final price, regressions were ran and various tests were performed on the output data.

Syftet med denna uppsats är att undersöka huruvida nyhetsreportaget som berättarform har förändrats i storstadstidningarna Dagens Nyheter och Göteborgs-Postens huvuddelar med avseende på utrymme och språkliga uttrycksformer mellan åren 2000 och 2011, under en vecka i mars och en vecka i oktober båda åren. Den undersökta tidsperioden är vald utifrån det formatbyte som många dagstidningar gick igenom på 2000-talet, Dagens Nyheter och Göteborgs-Posten bytte slutgiltigt format från det större broadsheet till tabloid år 2004. Undersökningen består huvudsakligen av en kvalitativ metod, en massmedieretorisk analysmetod, men även en kvantitativ del där antalet reportage under tidsperioden räknades och bidrog till en helhetsbild av materialet.Undersökningen visar att antalet nyhetsreportage i de valda tidningarna minskat med cirka 30 procent 2011 jämfört med år 2000 enligt min definition. Reportagen delades in i två för ändamålet självdefinierade kategorier, hel- och halvreportage, beroende på hur mycket reportagekaraktär texterna hade. Undersökningen visade en minskning av nyhetsreportagen med en högre reportagekaraktär år 2011 jämfört med år 2000.

The connection between fluorescence and color management still is a relatively unexplored area. Thefollowing composition analyses the theory that when printing on fluorescent ink jet paper using ICCprofilesa more yellow print will appear. In theory the ICC-profile compensate for blue light that fluorescefrom the paper with the complementary color, yellow. The human eye apprehands this fluorescentlight as white.When categorizing a number of ink jet qualities some tests to indicate change of color in the final printwere made. Five qualities were chosen for further analyses, each with different white point.

In the west part of Trelleborg, on previous farmland a new society is under construction. It is situated right next to the ocean and close to the European freeway. Eight types of villages, all with different kind of architecture will be built in the area, one of them is Torns Village built by Skanska and Ikea. A concept called BoKlok. This specific village consists of twelve houses and five apartment buildings. They are all somewhat classical in their appearance with wooden panel, but at the same time they have a modern touch.

North Korea has been on people?s minds lately. This essay is a study of what image Swedish press gave of North Korea starting in 1948 and ending in 2011. The study looks at two of the largest newspapers in Sweden, Aftonbladet and Dagens Nyheter.  During the 1950´s the image given was that North Korea was part of the communists, a puppet state of the Soviet Union.

The aim for this master thesis is to create an understanding of the intersubjective processes of how individuals are experimenting with their identities in social media and the consequences for the identity and embodiment. The thesis is completed with the help of discourse analysis and a starting point in four complementary theories. Central to the implementation of the analysis is the concept of diffraction. Therefore the thesis is, which is reflected in the choice of theoretical approaches and methods, critical to many aspects of classical philosophy of science and method. The empirical material is based on interviews.

The purpose of this study is to use a qualitative method to investigate the Swedish curriculums of 1919, 1962 and 2011 in search of attitudes and different usages of the popular culture of the time. To reach these conclusions Antonio Gramsci?s theories about cultural hegemony have been applied to prove how the superior classes, in this study these classes are represented by the Swedish school as an institution, use popular culture to maintain sovereignty of the lower classes. Ergo the problem highlighted in this study is whether the cultural class society exists in a fixed state since the 1919?s with the school as the institution to implement the tradition of cultural hegemony.

The fact that a duty of loyalty within the Swedish company law exists should be regarded as indisputable according to the Swedish doctrine, but its content and scope is however more severe identified. As the duty of loyalty is not regulated in the ABL and the fact that there are not many precedents in this area, means that it is difficult to know the boundaries of the company management´s duty of loyalty. It is also unclear whether the company management´s duty of loyalty to the company also is targeting the shareholders. It is this issue that we intend to discuss in the final chapter of this thesis. In order to answer our questions, we will in chapter two to six give an account of the foundation of the duty of loyalty and thereafter describe the management's duty of loyalty to the company.
