The purpose of this final thesis is to investigate the effects of seasonal changes in the horticulture industry. In this study this includes mainly garden designers, constructors of gardens and parks and horticultural businesses at Österlen. Today the most important issue,both in private and in public environment, is that the winter occupation in this area is not big enough. The consequence of this issue can result in the loss of competence to other industries if educated personnel has to stay employed only over season. The study is trying to identify and rank factors that are contributing to the problem, and propose solutions that means work opportunities for companies in the horticulture industry as well as for their employees, during twelve months of the year..

The effectiveness of Phlebiopsis gigantea to prevent spore infections from Heterobasidionannosum and Heterobasidion parviporum on hybrid larch stumps were investigated in fivestands in southern Sweden. All sites are former forest land and the age of the trees wasbetween 9 and 13 years.The study was implemented in August 2010, a month where spore dispersal should be great.The five sites were located in previously un?thinned monocultures of hybrid larch. The sporeload in the air was studied with the help of spore traps from three different tree species;Norway spruce, Scots pine and hybrid larch. A total of 146 spore traps, evenly distributed inall five sites were analyzed.

In order to achieve comparability, which is one of the fundamental principles of accounting, companies should be consistent concerning the accounting policies they use. Only under certain circumstances changes in accounting policies are allowed, and when there is a change in accounting policies, it is important that the change is reported in a way that assures that the financial reports still achieve comparability. The purpose of this thesis is to establish which rules and recommendations about changes in accounting policies that exist in Swedish and German law and what their meaning is. Further, the purpose is to compare these rules and recommendations and discuss their differences and similarities, advantages and disadvantages. Since publicly traded European companies will be obliged to prepare their consolidated accounts in conformity with International Accounting Standards (IAS) from 2005, I also describe the content of IAS 8 which deals with changes in accounting policies, and discuss what the consequences of this transition might be for Swedish and German publicly traded companies considering changes in accounting policies.

This thesis in Art History and Visual Science is about values to graffiti and graffiti artist Banksy. I have studied values relating to Banksy´s graffiti images through which context they are placed in and where they are located. I have selected two different images of Banksy as an example on the basis of a transnational phenomenon, where the images that circulate in the public arena by street art and other images and imported into the galleries and consumption market. My conclusion is that the values of the images are based on the context in which each room have its surroundings and that therefore the impression will increase. The public space context, signal availability and the white cube context indicates art, and the commercial context signals goods and items that can be bought.

De subjektiva bedömningarna ger företagen möjligheten att manipulera redovisningen, detta kallas för Earnings management. I samband med övergången till IFRS medförde det förändringar i hur företagen redovisade.

SammanfattningForskning har visat på att det är flera faktorer som är avgörande i uppbrottsprocessen när enperson vill avbryta sitt missbruk av alkohol och droger. Vad som spelar roll är faktorer ipersonens omgivning men också faktorer hos individen själv. Syftet med studien var att hittafaktorer som var av betydelse för att motivera personen till att lämna ett missbruk av alkoholoch droger samt visa på hur uppbrottsprocessen ser ut. Undersökningen baseras på sexintervjuer. Det insamlade materialet analyserades och jämfördes mot tidigare forskning inomområdet.

Purpose: The purpose of this essay is to apply "Discount Dividend model" and "Discounted Cash Flow model" in reality during periods of economic boom alternatively recession.Method: A quantitative research method as well as secondary data and data collection method is used. AbstractBackground: After a while the usage of urinary catheters leads to UTI which for the patient means inconvenience, suffering and pain. Aim: The aim of this study was to illuminate how to prevent UTI from patients with indwelling catheter. Method: This study was a literature review in which the articles have been searched for in PubMed, Cinahl and ELIN@Kristianstad. Results: It is important for the nurse to clean the periutheral area before inserting the catheter, and has the knowledge of different cathetermaterials. Silver alloy-coated catheters reduces the rate of UTI.

Bakgrund och problem: Genom att erbjuda val vid redovisning av aktuariella vinster ochförluster minskar möjligheten till jämförelse mellan bolag och länder. IASB har valt attgenomföra ett borttagande av korridormetoden, vilket är den redovisningsmetod som i dagslägettillämpas av majoriteten av företagen på Stockholmsbörsen Large Cap-lista. Detta har belystssom ett problem i flertalet studier och kommer leda till en väsentlig påverkan för många av deföretag som tvingas till ett byte 2013.Syfte: Uppsatsens syfte är att undersöka varför vissa företag på Stockholmsbörsen inte tillämparkorridormetoden och vilken metod de valt istället samt vad den reviderade standarden IAS 19kan komma att få för effekt för företag som tvingas till ett byte från korridormetoden 2013.Avgränsningar: Uppsatsen studerar enbart företag noterade på Stockholmsbörsen Large Caplista.Vidare kommer enbart de företag som tillämpar förmånsbestämd redovisning avpensionsåtagandet att studeras. En avgränsning till industrisektorn enligt OMX Nasdaq ICBindelning har sedan gjorts för att djupare studera företagens motiv till att redovisa i övrigttotalresultat samt de förväntade effekter av borttagandet av korridormetoden.Metod: Uppsatsen baseras på en flerfaldig strategi där både en kvantitativ och kvalitativ metodtillämpats. Vid insamlandet av de totalt 58 årsredovisningarna från företag noterade påStockholmsbörsen Large Cap-lista som ligger till grund för studien tillämpades en kvantitativansats.
