Every year an avorage of 40 000 Swedes fall ill with different forms of cancer. Chemotheraphy has an effect on the tumour cells as well as the healthy cells in the body, this causes many side effects which can be very problematic for the patient. The study was carried out in order to indicate the care measures that are taken to deal with the side effects i. e stomatit, loss of hair and sickness/vomiting, that are connected with chemotheraphy so that the outpatients will experience a quality of life. The method used was a qualitative interview with six nurses from the South if Sweden, all of whom are working with chemotheraphy patients.

I och med utvecklingen av globala satellitnavigeringssystem (GNSS) har Sverige, genom Lantmäteriet, skapat ett globalt anpassat referenssystem för både nationell och lokal användning kallat SWEREF 99. Med GNSS kan mätningar i SWEREF 99 idag göras med en mätosäkerhet från några meter, ner till centimeter beroende på metod. Sedan 2007 används SWEREF 99 som nationellt referenssystem för både mätning och kartframställning. Vid Forsmarks kärnkraftverk används i dagsläget ett lokalt referenssystem kallat Forsmark TUZ. Vid användning av GNSS måste erhållna koordinater transformeras för att få dem i det lokala systemet.

Många kommuner i Sverige genomför eller planerar att genomföra ett byte av sina geodetiska referenssystem i plan till det nationella referenssystemet Swedish Reference Frame 1999 (SWEREF 99). En av anledningarna till att ett sådant byte genomförs är bland annat för att underlätta all användning av geografisk information. Arbetet med att byta referenssystem är dock komplicerat och resurskrävande, bland annat behövs mätningsteknisk personal, mätningsutrustning och kunskap om hur ett sådant byte skall genomföras. Mindre kommuner som inte har sådana resurser kan välja att vända sig till andra större kommuner där dessa resurser finns. Ockelbo kommun är ett sådant exempel.Denna rapport beskriver hur punkter i stomnäten i Lingbo och Åmot mättes med nätverks-RTK, enligt Lantmäteriets rekommendationer.

Objective: The aim of this paper is to see if there are higher restructuring expenses under the item provision for the first year when a new president takes office.Method: The study was done by a quantitative study. Financial statements have been examined for companies listed on the OMX Stockholm Stock Exchange, Large Cap. We have examined all the companies? annual reports between the years 2002-2008. We have looked at the experience of restructuring and other expenses that occur in the context of CEO change.

Grinda Wärdshus är beläget på ön Grinda i Stockholms nordöstra skärgård. Detta projekt har till avsikt att på Skärgårdsstiftelsens förfrågan inventera värdshusets nuvarande oljebaserade värmesystem för att finna ett mer hållbart alternativ baserat på en värmepump. En omfattande litteraturstudie samt ett flertal studiebesök genomförs för att införskaffa nödvändig bakgrund kring nuvarande samt alternativa värmesystem. Med hjälp av årlig oljeförbrukning samt värdshusets maxeffektbehov dimensioneras ett system baserat på en värmepump. Ekonomiska, sociala samt miljömässiga aspekter av systembytet utvärderas.

Syftet med uppsatsen är att utvärdera på vilka grunder företag byter revisionsbyrå. Avsikten är att genom en analys identifiera de vanliga orsakerna till bytet för företag i Kristianstads kommun.Undersökningen är kvantitativ och hög svarsfrekvens eftersträvas och därför togs telefonkontakt med företagen. För att identifiera vilka företag som har bytt revisionsbyrå erhölls information hos Affärsdata. De personer, som intervjuades var endera ägaren, ekonomichef eller den person som föreslagit byte av revisor. Undersökningen genomföres som en deduktiv studie och för att kunna identifiera problemområden användes tidigare forskning, teorier och litteratur inom området.

Milkability or ease of milking, has higher importance today for Swedish dairy cattle producers after the introduction of milking parlours and automatic milking systems. Milkability is the cow?s ability to quickly milk out and be completely milked. There are several measures of milkability available. Today the farmer measures the traits subjectively in relation to the conformation scoring of the cow 30-270 days after her first calving.

The objective of this paper is to estimate monetary and non-monetary costs for the huntercaused by deer-vehicle collisions in Sweden. These costs include losses in hunting value as wellas time and money efforts related to the handling of wildlife casualties. The calculations arebased on available statistics from 2004 on deer-vehicle collisions involving moose, deer, roedeerand wild boar and on telephone interviews with hunters involved in the tracking of injuredanimals. Altogether, the annual loss in hunting value for moose was assessed to approximately30 million SEK based on the 2004 accident statistics. For roe-deer and fallow deer, thecorresponding figure was approximately 56 million SEK and 1.2 million SEK, while wild boaraccounted for 1.3 million SEK, respectively.

In the past year, Ozempic has been observed internationally, as well as in the Swedish press, due to its rapid rise in popularity, its off-label use for weight loss, and the ethical and societal debates surrounding availability and impact. The purpose of this study is to examine how Ozempic is portrayed in the four largest Swedish daily newspapers: Svenska Dagbladet, Dagens Nyheter, Expressen and Aftonbladet. The aim of the thesis is to identify the frames within which the drug is described to acquire knowledge of how it influences public perception of it. Every article published between the first of March until the first of November has been included in the study, if it bottoms in the defined phonomenon. The method used is a qualitative text analysis in consideration of Entman?s framing theory, which is focusing on identifying dominant themes, problem definitions, proposed solutions, and the actors attributed responsibility in the coverage of Ozempic in Swedish press.

Oxygen consumption and carbon dioxide production are usual measurements within the sports and training physiology. The same measurements are also common when it comes to establish the amount of energy that is used during work and to establish the intensity of work. The volume of oxygen that is consumed contra the volume of carbon dioxide that is produced can be used to calculate the metabolic rate within the human body. This calculation shows the percent relationship between carbohydrates and fat in the metabolism. The first accurate method to measure the breathing gases for use in metabolic calculation was established in the early twenty century when the Douglas bag method was introduced.

Abstract The present study examined if early deaf people and people with severe hearing loss perceive visual information differently than hearing people. An experiment was conducted with eight deaf participants and eight participants with normal hearing. The participants were between the ages of 18-74 years. The participants were asked to look at fifteen different images portraying manipulated illusions, and then assess if the images were of the same size. Subsequently another image depicting a different illusion with a face hidden in it was presented to the participants.

This thesis has two purposes: (1) to analyze the emptiness in Blodbok by Christine Falkenland, and (2) to analyze my own reading of the same book. I have chosen to focus on how emptiness is expressed through the body, the language and the place in Blodbok, because of the deep impact these seem to have on the emptiness. The thesis discusses what kind of emptiness that is described, what it does to me as a reader, and how it is connected to other works by Falkenland. Cultural politics of emotions by Sara Ahmed, Uses of literature by Rita Felski and Pouvoirs de l?horreur by Julia Kristeva together form the theoretical framework.Blodbok is a poetry collection, about the loss of a mother.

In a historical view, house prices have developed at the same rate as inflation. In the end of the 20th century the prices on the housing market started to differ from the inflation rate, and today the deviation is strong and the real price increase has been very strong.The financial crisis in 2008, which was a result of a subprime mortgage crisis on the American real estate market, has made several agents on the housing market in Sweden question today?s prices. Robert Schiller, an American economist who predicted the mortgage crisis in 2008, claimed during the Nobel Prize ceremony 2013, that Sweden shows signs of a financial bubble ? "I think that people here in Sweden have an illusion that increasing prices is a lasting trend, but that is more suggestive of a bubble".

 With the increases in fuel costs due to the depletion of the world oil reserves and the increase of greenhouse gasses as a consequence to using oil as a fuel many companies are looking to new and innovative ways to power their aircraft. One of these new ways to power an aircraft is using fuel cells powered using hydrogen and oxygen, thus producing nothing but water vapour and small amounts of nitrogen dioxide as well as trace amounts of other emissions. Both Boeing (1) and Politecnico di Torino (2) have shown that it is possible to build an all-electric aircraft powered by fuel cells. Both flights used small, two-seater aircraft and a constant between them was the loss of the co-pilot seat due to weight and lack of space. As this paper will deal with a commercial aircraft a primary concern is the cargo and passenger capacity and whatever impact switching propulsion system has on these.

Syftet med studien är att bidra med kunskap om, och i så fall hur, montessorilärare visar tillit till barns egenstyrda aktivitet i sitt arbetssätt på en montessoriförskola. De frågeställningar som studien baserats på är:- Hur visar montessorilärare barn tillit vid byte av aktivitet?- Hur inspirerar montessorilärare barn för att göra saker själva?För att få svar på dessa frågeställningar har jag använt mig av en kvalitativ metod genom ostrukturerade observationer samt analyserat utifrån ett hermeneutiskt perspektiv. Betydelsefulla begrepp som jag har använt mig av i studien är tillit, montessorilärarens roll samt förberedd miljö. Resultatet visar bland annat att miljön behöver förberedas varje dag för att barnen ska kunna ta del av alla montessorimaterialen.
