Metod: Forskningsansatsen har varit deduktiv där vi utgått från agentteorin. Undersökningen grundar sig på dokumentstudier där vår datainsamling har bestått av kvantitativ data som fåtts fram från olika årsredovisningar. Teori: Teoriavsnittet inleds med en bakgrundsbeskrivning till revisionsutskottens bildande. I syfte att förklara revisionsutskottens kontroll av redovisningen har agentteori tillämpats. Resultat: Ett inrättande av en mer effektiv bolagsstyrning i form av revisionsutskott har inte bidragit till att revisionskvalitén blivit bättre. Bolag som har inrättat ett revisionsutskott förbättrar dock den interna revisionen genom att förmedla risker och iakttagelser till ledningen.

This study raises the question how the implementation of the balanced scorecard in the municipality of Gotland has been influenced by the way of communication. A case study is made in the administration of Social-and care management on Gotland. We have been focusing on two different ways of communication. The first one is Shannon and Weavers model where communication is explained as a transmission of a message through a channel to a receiver. The other one is sensemaking where it is focal to give the information meaning.

Akut smärta är det vanligast förekommande symtom som den prehospitala akutsjukvården ställs inför. Behandlingsriktlinjerna presenterar intranasalt Fentanyl som ett alternativ för akut smärtlindring. Då det finns ett begränsat utbud av studier utförda på vuxna och inom prehospital akutsjukvård var syftet med studien att beskriva effekter av intranasal administrering av Fentanyl i prehospital akutsjukvård. Studien genomfördes med en kvantitativ metod och med en retrospektiv, deskriptiv design. Studien baserades på en granskning av 15 patientjournaler från Ambulanssjukvården i Region Halland och deras journalsystem Paratus.

This is an empiric, qualitative, case study of cooperation between two public organizations in Ystad, Sweden (Försäkringskassan and Ystad kommun). The aim of the study is to illuminate why they cooperate and what happen with the idea to cooperate and the organizations when they do. The theoretical tools used are influenced by institutional theory. A translationmodel is used to illustrate what the local actors do with the idea when a decision is made to adopt it and how it affects the actors. The study suggests that the cooperation in Ystad called One Stop Shop is partly done because it's a popular way of organizing public organizations in Sweden and partly because försäkringskassan, aim to upgrade their organization identity.

Syfte: Syftet med vår undersökning är att bidra med en bredare förståelse för komplexiteten som ICT kan ge upphov till i framtagandet av nya affärsmodeller. Genom en bredare förståelse vill vi bidra till att förbättra de förutsättningar som ICT kan möjliggöra till för mindre svenska bokförlag på en digitaliserad marknad. Metod: Vi har använt oss av primärdata i form av kvalitativa intervjuer, samt sekundärdata bestående av relevant statistik gällande priskänslighet och benägenheten att vilja läsa e-böcker. För att nå en tillförlitlig slutsats har vi valt att lyfta fram teori som berör affärsmodeller och förändringen av dessa. Slutsats: ICT har viss betydelse hos mindre svenska förlag i arbetet med att utveckla nya affärsmodeller.

The education sector can be seen as a cornerstone of today's society, an organization that is under constant change and evolve as society. The compulsory school system is of significant role in society that places high demands on its management. The following study investigates the requirements for documentation in primary school organization and operations, and how these requirements are perceived and affect the school's organization and activities of the study carried out at different levels of the organization so as to get an overall picture of its impact. In order to analyze and create understanding of the results, the study applies the theory of New Public Management and various reforms that can be linked to the increased documentation requirements and its influence in the public administration. Study results show that there is a mixed picture of the documentation impact on the school system. Shown are both positive and negative effects of the documentation requirements.

Denna studie syftar till att beskriva och förklara tänkbara konsekvenser som ett införande av EU:s mervärdesskattedirektiv kan medföra för Sveriges ideella föreningar och dess roll som en grundbult för en fungerande svensk demokrati. Studien ämnar undersöka eventuella ekonomiska, administrativa och demokratiska konsekvenser. Det teoretiska ramverket utgörs av teorier om föreningslivets roll som demokratiskola och skapande av socialt kapital. Studien utgörs sedermera av en jämförande fallstudie av föreningarna, Alets IK, IS Halmia och Halmstads BK. Undersökningens material bygger mestadels på samtalsintervjuer och utredningar som gjorts inom ämnet.Resultatet visar att konsekvenserna är av varierande karaktär för de valda föreningarna.

A co-operation is established when a group of people, sharing the same preferences and values, come together in order to satisfy a common need. The co-operative association should be democratic, governed and supervised by its members and open to everyone. The purpose of this article is to, from our ideal type, study similarities and differences regarding the corporate governance of the consumers? and the producers? co-operative movement. The motive behind our choice of alignment is that the mechanisms of corporate governance often are described from the perspective of the joint-stock company, making it valuable and interesting to study these mechanisms from the co-operative point of view.

Syfte: Att bidra med en förklaring till hur företag i sina relationer till omgivande intressenter påverkas av statliga regleringar. Metod: Studien är baserad på sekundärdata i form av bland annat branschorganisations- och myndighetsrapporter och vetenskapliga artiklar. Primärdata har samlats in genom åtta intervjuer med ämneskunniga, representanter för myndigheter, branschorganisationer och företag. Slutsatser: Analysen visar att de hälsoekonomiska utvärderingarna genomförda av TLV är ett sätt för statsmakten att förflytta ett visst mått av makt och styrning till den reglerande myndigheten. Eftersom dessa utvärderingar spelar en roll för landstingens beslut vid upphandling av medicinteknik, genom att rikta uppmärksamhet mot samhällsekonomisk effektivitet, inverkar myndighetens verksamhet reglerande på efterfrågan av medicinteknik-företagens produkter. Detta innebär att det förändrade förfaringssättet gällande hälsoekonomiska utvärderingar ställer krav på medicinteknikföretagen att anpassa sina verksamheter efter de nya förutsättningarna..

Purpose: The purpose with our study is to accomplish a quantitative research of all municipalities in Sweden and see why they apply Balanced Scorecard. The study will also investigate the spread of Balanced Scorecard, even the benefits and how they use it. Method: In our study we have chosen a quantitative research. The study has been accomplished with a questionnaire survey which we sent to all of the Swedish municipalities. We have also done a literature study to get more knowledge about relevant theories. Finally we have compiled the questionnaire in Netigate and Excel, and analysed the result from the questionnaire. Results: Balanced Scorecard is well-known in the Swedish municipalities and 36 percent of the municipalities use this scorecard in whole or in parts of the organisation.

The study was conducted with an landscape approach with an subject related approach in the field of environmental psychology to investigate how road design affects drivers' choice of speed. The purpose was to portray road environments on thoroughfares in urban areas to motivate motorists to keep the speed limit and thus increase road safety for vulnerable road users. The task question was formulated, how can thoroughfares in suburban settings be portrayed to motivate motorists to reduce speed? The study was conducted throughout a literature review of motivational speed measures along with interviews with road design experts at the Swedish Transport Administration. Case studies were conducted on three thoroughfares in the Stockholm suburbs Vallentuna, Upplands Väsby and Danderyd.

Hyperthyroidism has become the most commonly diagnosed endocrine disorder in cats. The recommended treatment of choice in the literature is administration of radioactive iodine. This treatment has been available at a few veterinary clinics in Sweden since 1999. Forty-six cats treated with a standard dose (80 MBq) of radioactive iodine (131I) at the Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences in the period 2000-2004 were followed for a median of 13 months (range 3-42 months) by means of a retrospective cohort study design. Tables predicting time of survival after treatment were made. At final follow-up thirty-nine cats (85%) were euthyroid, six cats (13%) remained hyperthyroid and one cat (2%) was hypothyroid.

Vår avsikt med uppsatsen var att utvärdera e-handelslösningen osCommerce utifrån ett ramverk som vi skapade och genom en enklare installation av e-handelssystemet. Utvärderingen gjordes för att underlätta för en potentiell intressent att välja eller förkasta osCommerce. Genom att läsa om e-handel och IT i facklitteratur och på Internet hittade vi aspekter som vi ansåg var viktiga att beakta när det gällde kvaliteten på en e-handelslösning. Dessa aspekter - administration, funktioner och layout, säkerhet, teknologi, resursåtgång, installation, marknadsföring samt flexibilitet - kom att utgöra utvärderingskriterier i vårt ramverk. För att ta reda på vad användarna av osCommerce tyckte om systemet genomförde vi semistrukturerade intervjuer via e-post.

Denna uppsats handlar om att utveckla ett balanserat styrkort till Individ och familjeomsorgen på Rosengård i Malmö. Individ och familjeomsorgen är en del av Socialförvaltningen. Det balanserade styrkortet är från början utvecklat för den privata sektorn, men har på senare tid börjat användas i den offentliga sektorn. Vi har använt oss av den institutionella teorin och den strategiska teorin. Syftet med uppsatsen är att se om ett balanserat styrkort kan fungera som ett kompletterande styrverktyg till budgeten och på detta sätt bidra till en mer effektiv verksamhet. Som metod har vi använt oss av en kvalitativ fallstudie.
