My ambition with his exam is to study how young girls are being depicted in swedish novels of 2010. I have analyzed how the identity and the search for identity are produced in these books. To be able to make my analysis of these books I have used Maria Nikolajeva?s book Barnbokens byggklossar. From wich I have worked out a few questions that I have used my analysis in the portrayal of these girls.

This report describes an analysis of WebGL together with JavaScript with the aim to examine its limitations, strengths and weaknesses. This analysis was performed by building a 2D game engine containing some dynamic elements such as water, smoke, fire, light, and more. Different algorithms have been tested and analyzed to provide a clearer picture of how these work together. The report will go through the most basic functions of the game engine and describe briefly how these work.The result shows that JavaScript with WebGL can be considered to be a potent toolsets, despite the difficulties caused by JavaScript.In summary, similar projects can be recommended as Javascript and WebGL proved both fun and incredibly rewarding to work with..

The purpose of this thesis was to investigate thephenomenon language café, an activity that is held in public libraries into which anyone is welcome who wants to practice their skills in Swedish, and see how this can be put in relation to integration. To reach the purpose we developed two research-questions; What does the language café fulfill for its participants? and How can the language café contribute to the promotion of integration? The study is based on semi-structured interviews with seven participants from language cafés. The theory used to analyze the results from the interviews is the Swedish sociologist José Alberto Diaz theory about the integration process which can be divided into seven dimensions. The findings of the thesis were that the language café can fill the function as a place to Speak Swedish, for Community-information, a place to meet and a place for trust and self-confidence.

Our thesis focus on how retirees perceive Tv4s news casts of economy news where we focused on five different aspects: What is the relationship between the news cast and the viewer and how does the viewer express their understanding of the news cast and the way it is constructed? What are the viewers attitude towards the news content and how do they find the news cast useful for them personally?We choosed retirees as our target group due to their vulnerable economic position in today?s society and TV as an important medium for them due to the digital divide. The study was performed with twelve qualitative interviews and one group interview where six retirees took part.We discovered a big interest for economic news in the target group. The majority had a sympathetic view of the news cast they saw but they also expressed skepticism toward the economy segment and/or news castings. The majority expressed a lack of trust for the journalists and the experts brought in to share observations and make announcements, and the financial business overall.

To establish good horse welfare there are several factors that need to be considered. One important factor is the environment in which the horses are kept. In Sweden horses are stabled during long periods of time in the cold season and consequently the stable environment is even more important. The most essential environmental factors in a horse stable are ambient temperature, relative humidity (RH) and concentrations of contaminants in the stable air. This thesis deals with our heritage and the care of old buildings. In order to limit this vast area a specific attention has been brought upon the process of giving buildings a certain level of protection and after decision having it taken away, instead of giving a stronger protection level.Further limitation has been done through the choice of four buildings in Lund, within Lund University campus. These buildings all lost this certain level of protection. It is common today that many children in Sweden  grow up in families that speak two or several languages. Language and identity building is connected to each other. So is also Languages and learning (Becknert m. fl. 2008:13).

I made this examination essay to investigate the possibilities and problems with machinery import. The rules intend to loaders and agriculture machines are still pretty flexible. It is today rather simple to make a registration or inspect those machines. There are still some practical problems to be aware of. It is very important to have the right contacts abroad, it is not always that you have time or moment to inspect the machines before purchase. In that case you have to trust your contact or partner about condition, equipment or working hours of the machine. Another important thing is payment before delivery: There is a huge risk that you do not get the machines that you paid for. If problems come up, you need to know the laws, your rights and your duties. A Swedish company does not pay any value-added taxes when it buys from another member of the European union. Denna uppsats berör tillit till offentlig sektor i Sverige och dess specifika institutioner. Dessutom undersöks ifall det föreligger skillnader i tillitsnivån, beroende av människors klasstillhörighet. Tillvägagångssättet för att kunna studera detta har varit logistiska regressionsanalyser samt en linjär regressionsanalys. Detta på ett material utfört av SIFO, nämligen välfärdstatsundersökningen från år 2010. Resultaten i denna studie visar att det återfinns klasskillnader i individers sannolikhet för att hysa en hög tillit till offentlig sektor.

Byggbranschen står inför stora förändringar i framtiden i och med att BIM (Building Information Model/Modelling/Management) successivt introduceras inom området. BIM innebär en förändrad arbetsmetod som kan ge förbättrade möjligheter att minska tidsåtgången och omarbetningar i ett förprojekteringsskede samt skapa ett effektivare projekterings- och produktionsskede med färre fel. BIM är ett relativt nytt sätt att inom byggbranschen bedriva projekt och innebär en förändring för olika skeden inom byggprocessen vilket påverkar inblandade parter.Syftet med denna studie är att ta reda på hur Peab i Kiruna på bästa sätt kan nyttja möjligheterna som finns med BIM samt redogöra för några av de förändringar BIM kan innebära jämfört med nuvarande arbetsmetoder.En teoretisk del beskriver BIM och dess för- och nackdelar inom olika områden samt vilka hinder det finns för arbetsmetoden. Ett resultat baserat på den teoretiska delen förklarar att BIM i dagsläget främst bör nyttjas av Peab i Kiruna i ett anbudsskede, där ett förfrågningsunderlag görs om till en BIM-modell. Detta kan leda till underlättande för företaget att se fel i förfrågningsunderlag samt att utförande av mängdavtagning och kalkylering kan ske på ett enklare sätt.

This essay follows a Media Teacher in her work as a coordinator and an artistic leader for a European project called Legalopoli concerning laws and ethics in a senior level school for 13-16 year-olds in Mora, Sweden. The students write film stories about how their characters have to make choices in ethical dilemma situations. Hästjuristen är en helt ny tjänst som erbjuder information om hästjuridik och nedladdning av juridiska avtal rörande hästar. Målet med arbetet har varit att ta fram en fullt fungerande tjänst som är tilltalande, användarvänlig och förtroendeingivande för att göra det enklare för behövande att erhålla sig korrekta avtal.Arbetet med tjänsten har haft tre teoretiska modeller för webbutveckling för e-handelstjänster som grund. But what does the business of construction think of the industrialized business and what can be done in order to decrease faults and errors with these products? Today we have many manufacturers who have different technical solutions which might lead to difficulties when assembling components and cells at the building site. But by trying to make a more opened market, with possibly standardized connections details and improving the communication between the different participants, the prefabricated components and cells can be made and assembled with less errors.
