The purpose of the thesis is to examine the thoughts and opinions of a selected group of people regarding the terrorist attack that occurred in Stockholm 12/11-2010. This study has been conducted through the method of focus group interview. The study was methodologically and theoretically inspired by Grounded Theory, which simply means that the participants' opinions have formed the theory of the study. As a result of the study, we can see that the main focus of the discussion held by the participants was through a we and them thinking-perspective. Furthermore, the study reveals that the participants tried to include who we (muslims) are, and to exclude who they (non muslims) are, while arguing in the discussion. Another definition is the one of here and there, where the participants defined terrorism and what causes it. Finally, media's role was discussed in relation to the creation of the medie-muslim. To explain the participants' perceptive, part of Appadurai?s Fear of small numbers and part of Brune?s Dark magic in the white media was used..

Background: Breast cancer is one of the most common types of cancer in the world and it usually affects elderly women. However, there are between 600-700 cases per year in Sweden where women under the age of 45 are diagnosed. Removal of the breast or part of the breast, hair loss, fatigue and nausea as a result of the breast cancer treatment has an emotional and physical impact on the women?s lifeworld. The nurse should build a relationship with the women to identify and meet their needs. Aim: To describe younger women?s experiences of getting a breast cancer diagnosis and life afterwards.Method: Four biographical books were analyzed to match the aim of the study.Result: The findings were that the women experience similar thoughts and feelings when it comes to living with a cancer diagnosis.

The purpose with this essay is to find out the role of mythology in history in Swedish elementary schools to day. The questions I used to fulfill the purpose in my essay are these: How is the relationship between the school subject history and northern mythology, (what is myth, what is history) how does history and myth being linked together? And How is the practical use of northern mythology shaped in to days school, How does the teacher form the education in northern mythology and what controls it? The method I used was an interview, a case study and a literature study, based on the didactical questions how, why and what.The mythology is motivated by the guidelines and goals, set up by the Swedish government, and is supposed to give the student history knowledge and thereby help the student to build up their identity. It is also supposed to give knowledge about the Swedish and Nordic cultural heritage. The role the mythology has is to support the history education.According to the interview in this essay the northern mythology is given a central place in the education in the Swedish elementary school today.

Syftet med denna uppsats är att studera företaget ÅF:s employer branding-arbete, närmare bestämt samverkan mellan ledningen, HR-avdelningen och marknadsavdelningen.Uppsatsen är av kvalitativ fallstudiekaraktär ochämnar utveckla teori genom en kombination av en deduktiv och induktiv undersökningsansats. Insamlad data är baserad på intervjuer medrepresentanter på ÅF.Sammanfattningsvis har vi kommit fram till att ÅF:s samverkan inom employer branding-arbetet i stort överensstämmer med den teoretiska modell som presenteras. Det finns en huvudsakligen god samordning av ledningens, HR- och marknadsavdelningens samt employer brandmanagers aktiviteter som syftar till att stärka arbetsgivarvarumärket. Dock finner vi en diskrepans mellan ÅF:s och litteraturens definition av begreppet samt en allt för stor fokus på de externa aktiviteterna som en följd av employer brand managers starka band till marknadsavdelningen..

In this final thesis two simulation models have been integrated. The simulation models are models of JAS 39 Gripen?s fuel system, software and hardware. The time consuming and costly work to develop software has made the department of fuel system to build two models in Xmath/Systembuild. The software model also simplifies the comprehension of how the software in the control computer of the fuel system works.

Malmö, like many other bigger cities in Europe, faces a double undertaking when facing the challenges the future. Not only must the municipal be able to provide its citizens with welfare and a high standard of living, it must also establish a level of economic growth that allows the city to act as catalyst for the surrounding area. In order to provide the population with welfare and the economy with a qualified working force, these two challenges have been combined into one plan for the future called Welfare for Everybody. As part of this plan, new organisations have been created with the purpose collaborating with the social services office and support people in their transaction from welfare recipients to self-providing workers. The purpose of our thesis is to build on Michael Lipsky's classic work "Street-level Bureaucracy" and by conducting interviews with a number of front line workers study how they view their role, the client group and how they motivate the working line.

In the wake of the electronic revolution digital library has become one of the central themes concerning libraries. The present study takes up the question whether digital library can function in the same way as the conventional library. The question can obviously be posed from different perspectives, e.g. technological-, the user-, or the organizational perspective. The study investigates if (and how) digital library can have the same functions as the traditional library.

Den här undersökningen handlar om i vilken mån dagstidningarna kan fortsätta att göra anspråk på att utgöra tredje statsmakten. Den tredje statsmakten utgörs av journalistiken i medierna som ska bevaka den första statsmakten regeringen och den andra, riksdagen. Jag har valt att undersöka hur kommun- och landstingsjournalistiken samt den undersökande journalistiken, prioriteras på tidningarna. Alltså motsvarigheten till regering och riksdag på lokal nivå. 21 ansvariga utgivare vid den största tidningen i respektive län/region har fått möjlighet att svara på en enkät, svarsfrekvensen blev 66,6 procent.

Det här examensarbetet handlar om hur tre lärare uppfattar ett problembarn och hur de sedan väljer att bemöta och arbeta med dem. Syftet har varit att försöka hitta några metoder för hur man som lärare kan bemöta dessa barn och se vad man som lärare behöver kunna. Det har jag gjort genom att läsa litteratur som förklarar skolans och gruppens konstellation vilket jag i diskussionen satt i samband med lärarnas definition av problembarn och hur de väljer att jobba med dem. Min tyngdpunkt i undersökningen ligger i att se vad som gör att en elev blir ett problembarn och se hur man kan motverka att eleven blir eller förblir det. Within psychodynamic therapy the concept of countertransference is considered as valuable to understand the therapy process. Much of the research has focused on countertransference as dependent to therapy outcome (Hayes, Gelso & Hummel, 2011) and less of the research has been dedicated to trainees view on the concept. The object off this study was to examine how trainees define, identify and use countertransference. The study takes a qualitative approach and phenomenological perception of knowledge. Eight trainees has been interviewed and the interviews has been analysed with thematic analysis.

The industrialized timber housing process is capable nowadays to build multi-storeyhouses since fairly new changes in the Swedish regulations where made after theadmission of the European Union in 1994.The industrialized process moves parts of the construction process into a highlyeffective factory where 3D-volumes of the building are prefabricated beforetransportation to the building site for assemble.The assembly process is relatively effective compared to the completion of thebuilding service system and this is therefore the main focus in this thesis. I inledningen av våra uppsatsstudier fann vi ingen tydlig definition av värdskap.Engelskans hospitality är alltför vid för att kunna förklara värdskapets betydelse inom turismbranschen.Vi har i vår uppsats belyst samt försökt förklara: Vad är värdskap? Vidare ville vi också se eventuella kulturella skiljaktigheters påverkan på värdskap. Vårt forskningsbidrag är därför en värdskapsmodell för att tydliggöra ämnet. Modellen beskriver rumsliga dimensioners påverkan på värdskap. Vi har också valt att genomföra kvalitativa intervjuer, dels med forskare och dels med utövare inom resebranschen, för att få en mer djupgående förståelse för om och hur det arbetas med värdskap i praktiken..

Background: Our daily lives and personal interactions are increasingly featuring social media and social networks in particular. Topics regarding social media, its impact on society at large ? both on corporate as well as individual behavior ? has been the focus of many research papers. Personal use of social networks are regularly being mapped out by researchers aiming at clarifying concepts such as engagement, trust and interactivity, and mapped by companies seeking to maximize return on investment concerning their marketing efforts. The aim of our study is (i) to map how companies and/or organizations operating on the Swedish market use their company?s pages on the social media as a way of communicating with their followers and audience, as well as (ii) identifying whether ?Real-Time Marketing?, in our own definition, is used or not.Methods: The research methods used included both quantitative and qualitative content analysis.

The aim of this study is to examine how teachers enable students with intellectual disabilities to participate in their own learning journey. The study is based on qualitative methods and data collection has been done through five individual interviews in another European country. The interviews are analysed with a qualitative method inspired by Bryman (2011). The studies theoretical frame is founded on thoughts of Dewey (1997; 2002; 2004). The results of this study shows, among other things, that good relationship between adults in school and students are an important base for participation. To build a good relationship to the students, the teacher has to have good knowledge of each individual student and its disability.

Avsikten med denna undersökning var att ta reda på om de kommunala bostadsbolagen hushåller ekonomiskt med sina resurser genom att undersöka hur de gör sina investeringsbedömningar. Avsikten var också att ta reda på om de tar välgrundade investeringsbeslut i enlighet med den finansiella teorin. Vad som är rätt investeringsbeslut i en viss situation beror på en mängd faktorer men att ha ett fungerande arbetssätt och metoder för lönsamhetsberäkning är en förutsättning.Undersökningen har vi valt att genomföra genom kvalitativa intervjuer med representanter från sex kommunala bostadsbolag i Västsverige. Bolagen är Åmåls Kommunfastigheter AB, Kilsbostäder AB, Grums Hyresbostäder AB, Karlstad Bostads AB, Hyresbostäder i Karlskoga AB och Forshagabostäder AB.Vår undersökning visar att samtliga undersökta bolag definierar en investering likt den definition som ges i teorin, nämligen som en åtgärd för att skapa framtida värden och nyttor. Syftet i vilket bolagen genomför en investering kan dock variera och stämmer inte alltid överens med bolagens definition av en investering.
