The aim of this study was to investigate and compare the availability of construction materials affect children's constructions and play. Observations were made when the children were allowed to play and build with very little and much of the material play-doh dough in preschool. The study is aimed at children aged 3 ? 5 years. Interviews were also conducted with educators in departments where the children spent time to give support to this study.The result shows that the children create as many designs of any material amount.

Mitt syfte med uppsatsen är att beskriva kriterierna för begreppet royalty, och att beskriva hur royalty är reglerat i Sveriges dubbelbeskattningsavtal med olika länder. Detta realiseras med hjälp av frågeställningarna i min problemformulering. I dagligt tal förknippas royalty ofta med ersättning som utgår till artister och låtskrivare för att någon har nyttjat deras konstnärliga verk. Men i och med att royalty inte är definierad i lagtexten, finns det otydligheter kring vad som ger royalty. I rättsfallen som undersöktes fann jag att ett av kriterierna för royalty är att ersättningen i princip utgår med varierande belopp, t.ex.

This essay is about power in the classroom. It is about the power dimension of the student-teacher relationships that arise in that space. The overall aim has been to investigate which categories are fruitful in a power analysis of these relationships. My aim has therefore been to develop power categories and to use them to identify and to categorise cases of power interaction that take place between those particular actors in that particular setting.In order to gather material for my study I have both read literature that approaches the study of the student-teacher relationships from a power perspective and done a series of observations in a high school.My theoretical frame comprises a concept of power and a series of power categories. These categories include strength, authority, inducement, coercion, violence, resistance as well as to possess power, to have power, to exert power, the scope of power and the base of power.

Att äga kunskap om hantering av hot och våld är alltid en värdefull egenskap, speciellt för personal på HVB-hem för utagerande ungdomar. Studien undersöker hur hot och våld definieras, gestaltas, uppstår och hanteras på HVB-hemmen samt hur personal uppfattar hanteringen. Resultatet av sju intervjuer med personal på HVB-hemmen redovisas. Hot och våld är något som är oacceptabelt men vanligt förekommande. Studien visat att hot är vanligare, mer svårdefinierat och oftare förekommande än våld.

The projecting time in the construction industry needs to become more efficient toshorten the amount of time it takes to project a build. One of the North's leadingconstruction company NCC constuction Sweden AB has developed a form ofcollaboration called ?NCC project studio? that they use in some projects today.My thesis consists in bringing forth the most important aspects of the collaborationform called NCC project studio. The point of this is to use my thesis to help thecompany develop a quality document that can assist them when starting collaborationbased on NCC project studio in the future.The conclusion of my thesis was that much of the focus needs to be on explaining tothe participants what NCC is aiming to gain from working with the NCC projectstudio and also which important parts that needs to be worked on..

Bakgrund: I början av 1990-talet introducerade Arne Jernelöv (1992) begreppet miljöskuldvilket ledde till funderingar kring miljöredovisningen och innebörden av begreppet miljöskuld. Jernelöv (1992) definierar en miljöskuld som en återställandekostnad för miljöskador somär tekniskt-ekonomiskt återställbara samt storleken av det kapital som erfordras för att betala återkommande ?reparationsinsatser?. Även andra forskare har behandlat begreppet och arbetat fram egna definitioner.Syfte: Syftet med uppsatsen är att undersöka definitioner av begreppet miljöskuld, vilken definition som är vanligast förekommande samt vilka metoder för miljöredovisning som används idag.Metod och avgränsning: Studien bygger främst på en litteraturstudie som kompletteras med en argumentationsstudie. Underlag för studien är företag i energibranschen, skogsbranschen och gruvbranschen.Slutförande och resultat: Begreppet miljöskuld behandlas i samhällsdebatter och som begreppsdefinition förekommer olika värdeberäkningar.

People who live in northern part of the world spend much more time indoors than those who live in warmer countries. In addition that home should be safe, it should also protect one against heat, cold, sunlight and pollution. The indoor environment is affected by installations, material and how the building is formed. Those anomalies that are visible, felt or smelled can be noticed and be rectified. But it?s much more difficult if these abilities are missing.

Miljö och hållbarhet är något som kommit att uppmärksammas allt mer sedan startskottet på 70-talet i samband med ökat fokus från regeringshåll och grundande av miljöorganisationer. I takt med konsumenters ökade medvetenhet har kraven höjts på svenska klädföretag och deras arbete med hållbar utveckling och hållbara produkter. Problematiken ligger i att svenska klädföretag utför sitt arbete på olika sätt och därav finns olika tolkningar av hur en hållbar produkt är framställd och vad denna ska innehålla. Det är även svårt för kunder att få ett grepp av en hållbar produkt, då de inte finns någon konkret definition.Den övergripande problemformuleringen i arbetet har berört hur olika svenska klädföretag och miljöorganisationer definierar en hållbar produkt. I uppsatsen presenteras olika definitioner av hållbar utveckling och den lagstiftning som ligger till grund för de produkter som produceras och säljs på den svenska marknaden.

Boplatsvallar, often translated as semi-subterranean settlements, is an ancient monument with a diffuse definition. Defined as ?embankments that partially or completely surround a often lowered/dug down surface- this category of ancient monuments is also made up of a former category which traditionally was interpreted as winter settlements from the late Stone age in Sweden. This view of the ancient monuments carried over, to a certain extent, to this new definition. Should this be the case, that this category of ancient monuments are remains of winter settlements,  used recurringly over an extended period of time, then they should exhibit similar signals in regards to the distribution of the anthropogenically altered soil chemical and soil physical properties at the sites.The area around Lillsjön, Anundsjö parish in Ångermanland, have four boplatsvallar located separately in the regional area.

Boulognerskogen is a park in the central of Skövde that have had a health resort, paths for strolling, outdoor-bath, outdoor-sport areas and events. During the 1970:th there was a lack of interest for the park and very few visited it. By a motion from a resident in Skövde wich proposes that a city playground will be build in Boulognerskogen gave me an opportunity to investigate how the potential of the park can be used to create a funny and nice place to visit for children in company with adults. By a program that contains the main goals and design program for a city playground in Boulognerskogen, I wanted to present a proposal that could meet childrens needs to play and to use the conditions of the place to create places to play in, and where children in company with adults could be together. To reach this, I wanted to try different methods that could lead to a proposal that was well supported by children and adults, and wich was possible to use by the local authority in their further actions. The methods that I used was therefor an important part of the work. I have choosen to define the concept "city playground" as a greater playground situated in the center of the town that are suitable for outings and as a meetingplace, with a varation in playground attractions and promote children and adults to be together, aiming at younger children in the ages of 1-10 years in company with adults, but should also give space to activities of other groups.

Syftet med denna studie är att belysa gymnasielärares syn på begreppet hälsa och hur de definierar hälsobegreppet inom ämnet idrott och hälsa. Vidare är syftet att undersöka på vilket sätt dessa lärare beskriver att de arbetar med hälsa i ämnet på gymnasiet utifrån kursplanen Idrott och hälsa 1. Studien utgår ifrån följande frågeställningar: Hur definierar lärare i idrott och hälsa begreppet hälsa? Hur beskriver lärare i idrott och hälsa begreppet hälsa inom ramen för idrott och hälsa? och Hur framställer lärare i idrott och hälsa att de arbetar med hälsa i sin undervisning utifrån kursplanen Idrott och hälsa 1?Kvalitativa intervjuer med lärare i idrott och hälsa på olika gymnasieskolor har använts som metod för att insamla data till undersökningen. Studien är en kandidatuppsats och är inte generaliserande för en större population.

Introduktion: Regionalt cancercenter (RCC) har i samarbete med Sveriges kommuner och landsting (SKL) beslutat att varje patient med en cancerdiagnos ska bli tilldelad en kontaktsjuksköterska.Syfte: Att undersöka hur väl implementeringen av kontaktsjuksköterskan har fungerat inom den onkologiska vården på Akademiska sjukhuset i Uppsala samt om de kontaktsjuksköterskor som finns arbetar i enlighet med SKL:s definition.Metod: Kvalitativ metod med semi-strukturerade intervjuer av åtta patienter med olika cancerdiagnos.Huvudresultat: Fem av de åtta deltagarna blev tilldelade en kontaktsjuksköterska eller motsvarande när de fick sin diagnos, antingen i direkt samband med diagnosen eller i ett senare skede. Resultaten tyder på att de patienter som ingår i någon slags forskningsstudie upplever sig ha en kontaktsjuksköterska som underlättar för dem och även deras behandling. Patienter som inte ingår i läkemedelsstudier upplever inte att kontaktsjuksköterskan har arbetat enligt SKL:s definition.Slutsats: Forskningssjuksköterskor är den personalkategori som arbetar närmast definitionen av kontaktsjuksköterska. Brister gällande sjukvårdens tillgänglighet, förmåga att ge fullgod information samt att erbjuda anhöriga stöd har uppmärksammats. Ytterligare forskning måste utföras för att resultaten ska kunna bekräftas.  .

The aim of this review is to evaluate the best way to transport the horse. When it comes to transporting horses there are a number of different types of trailers and trucks that you can choose from today. The most common type of trailer is designed for two horses and the horses are transported facing the direction of travel. Studies has been performed to determine if that is the most advantageous direction for the horse to travel in, in terms of balance and levels of stress. Stress is a widely discussed subject and the definition is not fully developed.

I mitt examensarbete har jag haft för avsikt att undersöka metoder för att modellera lågpolygonkaraktärer för datorspel. Som min metod valde jag att delvis studera karaktärsmodeller från ett antal olika spel från etablerade spelföretag. Med olika programvaror har jag kunnat plocka ut modeller från spelen för att kunna granska dem under förstorningsglas.Med hjälp av samma program gjorde jag också en kort statistisk sammanställning över hur många polygoner som används för olika karaktärer i olika spel. Detta var i avseendet att få en uppfattning om vad som räknas som lågpolygonmodeller. Vad jag kom fram till här var att det inte finns en klar och tydlig definition av vad som räknas som lågpolygonmodell.

This study has been conducted on behalf of Vectura Consulting AB with the purpose to examine how different actors perceive the dimensions of sustainability and sustainable construction. The purpose is also to provide an understanding of existing barriers and opportunities for sustainable construction within the industry and exemplify with different directions for the actors in order to develop sustainability. The study has approach the research problem by using systems theory, developed by Checkland, to identify the relevant system. Other systems theories has been used as an theoretical framework in order to identify barriers and opportunities, which in this study are based on Hughes?s theory about reverse salients and salients.
