Syftet med uppsatsen är att beskriva och analysera hur ekonomistyrningen är utformad inom revisionsföretag. Uppsatsen är en kvalitativ fallstudie av tre revisionsföretag och vi har använt oss av en abduktiv metod. Empirin består av material inhämtat från företagens hemsidor och intervjuer med respektive företag. Teorin är hämtad ur facklitteratur och artiklar som behandlar ekonomistyrning på ett sätt som vi anser är relevant för vår undersökning. I vår undersökning har vi kommit fram till att våra fallföretag har börjat arbeta i riktning mot en modern verksamhetsstyrning, men att traditionella idéer fortfarande har stort inflytande på företagens ekonomistyrning.

I alla tider har man byggt modeller över saker som skall byggas för att på så sätt åskådliggöra det som skall skapas. Dessa modeller hjälper till att förstå och formulera problem och lösningar, hur sammanhangen är och vilka beståndsdelar som skall ingå. Beroende på vilken typ av produkt som skall konstrueras, kommer olika modeller att få olika betydelse. En utvecklare har ofta en inre bild, en mental modell, av vilken typ av system som skall utformas. Denna bild kan vara detaljerad eller bara en avlägsen idé.

Problematiken för vår undersökning grundar sig i den nya skollagen som trädde i kraft i juli 2011. Där står det reglerat att kommunen är ansvarig för alla elever i en kommun. Då det nu råder fritt skolval enligt den nya skollagen, kan elever och dess vårdnadshavare själva välja vilken grundskola de vill gå på. Eleverna kan antingen välja en kommunal grundskola eller en friskola och därmed blir planeringen och budgeteringen av elevantalet osäker för kommunerna då de inte vet hur många elever som kommer att gå i de olika skolorna.Vårt syfte med denna undersökning är att skapa förståelse för och en fördjupad kunskap om hur skolförvaltningen inom kommunen går tillväga för att planera och budgetera osäkerhet och om budgetarbetet har påverkats av det fria skolvalet och friskolorna. Undersökningen baseras på en kvalitativ metod med tre intervjuer av ekonomer på skolförvaltningen i tre kommuner; Helsingborgs stad, Lunds kommun och Kristianstads kommun.Utifrån det empiriska materialet har det framkommit att ledorden i budgetarbetet är; planering, kommunikation och kontroll.

This thesis has aimed to study steering process and institutionalization in the context of educational policy work. This has been conducted by using empirical material from the political decision-making process that preceded the implementation of a new national program on how principals should be educated and certified. By using an aggregated theoretical point of view containing new institutionalism and traditional Swedish curriculum theory, the process was analyzed from different perspectives. The results depict a process that contained several actors who tried to shape the principal education program differently. From the theoretical perspectives, the decision-making process could be understood as an act of both self-interest as well as trust in their own beliefs and cultural values.

Är det möjligt att göra en kvalitativ musikvideo med en liten budget? Flera hävdar att detta är möjligt om man planerar detaljrikt och använder sig av olika knep, som bland annat att inte använda sig av för många miljöer utan istället använda sig av färre miljöer, men från flera olika vinklar och perspektiv för att få till en bra variation.Mitt projekt grundar sig i att undersöka detta närmare. En utmaning blev det att göra allt på egen hand, men resultatet växer fram till en musikvideo som dels innehåller klipp från skogmiljöer till en animation som knyter samman det hela till låtens kärna.Kärnan i detta är att dela med mig av min process, så att andra som också vill göra en musikvideo kan se vad som går att göra med enkla medel och förhoppningsvis inspireras..

This essay concerns sponsorship of libraries within Sweden. It takes its starting-point in the libraries economical situation where resources are decreasing. The main purpose of the essay is to investigate how sponsorship is used in public libraries. The main questions are:o Why are sponsorships appealing to libraries? o What does the processes of sponsoring look like? o What are the possible risks concerning sponsor-ships ? could it endanger libraries democratic role? o How does library staff reflect on the role of libraries in contemporary society? In our study we chose to investigate the sponsorship issue from the sponsored libraries perspective.

Bakgrund och problem: Alla företag behöver en stark ekonomistyrning för att kunna konkurrera ute på marknaden. Ekonomistyrning innebär att företag kan planera, följa upp och utvärdera olika rapporter. För att kunna göra detta behövs styrmedel som budget som innebär en ekonomisk handlingsplan som ska styra företaget mot ett visst mål. Senaste tiden har budgetens att vara eller icke vara diskuterats aktivt. Utifrån den kunskapen vill vi undersöka budgetens betydelse för tillverkningsföretag samt öka vår förståelse för ämnet. Syfte: Syftet med uppsatsen är att undersöka hur tre företag i, inom tillverkningsbranschen i Småland arbetar med budgeten.

This paper is a study of corporate governances in the municipal of Stockholm. The purpose of this paper is to enlighten the problems and opportunities for the corporate governances of the wards in the municipal of Stockholm. The municipal of Stockholm is made up of 18 relatively self-governing wards, whose activities bear a resemblance to one and other. Therefore we have specified our survey to corporate governances in the ward of Skarpnäck (Skarpnäcks stadsdel), to be able to use this ward as an example to corporate governances in the entire municipal of Stockholm. The essay emanates from the important management theories: Budget, Integrated Management system (ILS), Benchmarking and Balanced Scorecard.The essay is based on interviews and a poll survey we conducted in the administration of the ward of Skarpnäck, and also based on interviews with Stockholm?s city hall.

The function of budgetary controls is to control the resource allocation within companies. It can also be an instrument for measure and control subordinates and/or business units? performance (Van der Stede 2001). This paper concerns the latter; when the budgetary control function is used to measure and control subordinates performance based on budget. Previous research in this area has not yet accomplished to explain the effects of tight budgetary control which Hartman (2000) considers as the main issue to be concerned about in management accounting research.Previous research has presented contradictory findings regarding tight budgetary control explained by positive effects as well as negative effects during the last decades.

The Swedish public procurement correspond to approximately 400 milliard Swedish crowns every year which corresponds to about a fourth of the Swedish Gross National Product. Setting proper demands in the procurement is a useful tool to drive the development towards more environmentally adapted products and provisions. The Act on Public Procurement (Lagen om offentlig upphandling, 1992:1528) gives the municipalities opportunities to consider environmental properties during the procurement. This combined literature and empirical study investigates the experiences made by the three municipalities Ludvika, Borlänge and Smedjebacken during the process of certifying their school kitchens as organic in cooperation with KRAV. The main conclusion is that without compassion and curiosity for developing a green public procurement changes can be hard to implement.

The study aims to illustrate how women victims of male violence in intimate relationships are treated during the legal process and with professional perspective describe what women?s experiences considered to be in the legal process. The study also aims to draw attention to the interventions for abused women during the legal process.The results are based on interviews with professionals in the justice system, and on observations in the courtroom. Overall our results show that abused women are in need of a great quantity of help and support before, during and after the negotiation. The legal process is very stressful for the women.

Poverty among children has received a great deal of attention in the media the past few years. The group in which poverty among children has increased most is among single parents; therefore we have chosen to examine this group in this study. The purpose of this study is to take part in single parents and their children?s experiences of living within a very tight budget and the strategies they use. We found it interesting to put this information in relationship to the consumer society we live in today.
