Urban planning in Sweden has played an important role for the welfare state we have created. It has served as a way to achieve improvements. But too often decisions, about the changes, were made by those who were not directly affected by them. Democratically speaking, it is important that the group most affected by a decision also comes to make the decision. This thesis examines the motives for working with citizen participation and user participation in planning contexts.

Animerade filmer görs idag till störst del av stora företag som har en rejäl budget och arbetskraft. Är det möjligt att göra en hel animerad kortfilm ensam med hjälp av endast program som är gratis?. I det här examensarbetet redogörs om det är möjligt att göra en animerad kortfilm helt själv under begränsad tidsram och begränsade förutsättningar. Jämförelser mellan kommersiell programvara och open-source kommer att göras, där programmen jämförs som helhet och i sina individuella funktioner.

Vi ville undersöka om det var möjligt att på en begränsad budget bygga och programmera en Live Slow Motion-maskin för att generera repriser under en TV-sändning. Utan tillgång till dyrare specialtillverkad hårdvara skulle allt skötas i mjukvara på i grunden en vanlig konsument-PC. Vi ville så långt som möjligt att vår maskin skulle efterlikna de etablerade produkter som används i TV-branchen då vår förhoppning var att maskinen skulle kunna utnyttjas av TV-studenter efter färdigställandet. Vi ville dock inte begränsa oss för mycket, utan vi skulle försöka förbättra de saker vi ansåg behövde förändras..

Rapporten tar upp hur jag har gått tillväga vid upprättandet av en underhållsplan för gång- och cykelvägarna i Söderköping. När, var och hur skall underhållet göras samt till vilken kostnad är faktorer som tas upp. Hur man kan tillståndsbedöma gång- och cykelvägar visas samt hur skador och defekter definieras. Kontakter har upprättats med Skanska Anläggning och anställda på Söderköpings kommun för att kunna ta fram kostnadsförslag. Rapporten tar också upp hur informationen lades in i ett GISbaserat dataprogram.Resultatet visar att med en genomförbar budget och en underhållsplan som vägvisare kan Söderköpings kommun klara av att rusta upp sina uttjänta gång- och cykelvägar, vilket kommer att skapa en långsiktig god standard..

Försvarsbeslutet är ett politiskt beslut som fattas i Sveriges Riksdag med jämna mellanrum och avser Försvarsmaktens riktlinjer och budget. Försvarsmakten fick i uppdrag av regeringen att undersöka fyra budgetalternativ inför Försvarsbeslutet 2004. De fyra alternativen innebar en budgetökning på tre miljarder, en oförändrad budget eller en minskning av budgeten med tre respektive sex miljarder kronor. Mycket tyder på att besparingsalternativet tre miljarder blir aktuellt vilket för flygvapnets del innebär en flygflottiljnedläggning. Mitt syfte med uppsatsen var att jämföra de fyra flygflottiljerna (F 17 i Ronneby, F 7 i Lidköping, F 4 i Östersund och F 21 i Luleå) för att utreda vilken av dessa flottiljer som riskerar en nedläggning.

The purpose of the essay is to analyze the welfare state from a gender perspective. Further, the paper analyzes and critically examines three different normative solutions provided by Irish Marion Young, Nancy Fraser and Jürgen Habermas for the realization of a welfare state that includes women.Habermas argues that the welfare state has created a situation of dependency and state paternalism which reduces both individual and collective self-determination. Young follows Habermas? argument. She argues for a political climate where justice is reduced to the distribution of material goods rather than the elimination of underlying relations of domination and gender specific patterns.

The aim is that on the basis of interviews with personnel and clients examine whichexperiences they have of the drug abuse programme and its implementation. To be able toanswer the aim following question has been formulated: (1) What do the personnel and clientthink about the drug abuse program arrangement? (2) In which extend is the programimplemented as thought? (3) How do the personnel assesses the client?s participation? (4)How does the client?s think about their own participation in the program? (5) Do the client?sthink that the program have been helpful in their personal development? A qualitativemethod was chosen and has used a semi structured interview. Total has ten interviews beenimplemented on Rällsögården, five with clients and five with personnel. The study'sinterpretation framework builds on research around drug abuse treatment and theories andmethods that lie to shallow for the drug abuse programme.

Det har länge varit vanligt att informationssystem i verksamheter har haft uppenbara brister i funktionalitet och därför snarare varit ett hinder än det stöd som de förväntas vara i verksamheten, detta beror i många fall på hur utvecklingen av dessa går till. Ett misslyckande i utvecklingen av ett informationssystem är inget ovanligt och kan innebära att tidsplan, budget eller systemets funktion inte efterföljer förväntningarna. Då det finns en verksamhet kring systemet är det vanligt att denna glöms bort i utvecklingen och systemet stödjer då inte denna verksamhet som det är tänkt. En mycket viktig del i dessa utvecklingar är den inledande förstudien, där utvecklingens alla delar ska behandlas. Det ska tas beslut om tidsplan, budget, krav på funktion och andra viktiga aspekter.Syftet med studien är att se hur förstudien påverkar ett system- och verksamhetsutvecklingsprojekt som helhet.

The aim of this study was, that from a view of professional's understand the meanings of including horses in therapy. In order to achieve the aim of the study, qualitative method was used and therewith interviews was performed with professionals who work with equine- assisted therapy. The professionals did also have an education which allowed them to independently treat clients and besides that at least five years of experience of equine- assisted therapy. The issues of the study was to understand the professionals? view of the horses role in equine-assisted therapy, which opportunities and constraints professionals consider that equine-assisted therapy entails and also if the horse could bring something unique to therapy.

Studiens syfte var att granska om i vilken utsträckning skolan tillgodoser elevers behov av undervisning gällande kost, motion och hälsa. Resultatet pekar på att skolan har goda intentioner men begränsade möjligheter att nå upp till Lpo 94: s krav på att elever utövar någon form av fysisk aktivitet varje dag. Vidare visar resultaten att skolan har svårigheter att kunna undervisa de yngre åldrarna, i kost och hälsa på ett tillfredställande sätt, då lärarna upplever det som svårt att hitta bra material på grund av skolans otillräckliga budget. Konsekvenser för detta utmynnar i att skolor har svårt att efterleva intentionerna i Lpo 94.

The aim of the study was to examine both 1) how aware teachers in a specific area are about ICT tools in teaching ; and 2) how likely teachers are to use ICT tools to reverse the trend of unmotivated students and low achievement scores . I will look for answers through the following questions:How extensive is the knowledge of the teachers on digital and social media in education? How have teachers in the past year used various social media in their teaching? In what grade does ICT-supported teaching lead to higher motivation, participation and achievement? Is there a difference between the sexes, different stages (1-3, 4-6, 7-9) and number of years in the profession in knowledge of and openness to the use of ICT in education?The method used is a questionnaire in which a number of respondents have answered a number of questions about ICT tools in teaching. Validity of the study can be said to be high when the survey has measured what it intended to measure, however, I need to be careful in draw full account of the result as the response rate is low with only 39%. In summary, the results show that there is low awareness among respondents about the methods and the digital and social tools I lift in the survey.Mainly the respondents use some of the methods and the digital and social tools in preparation for the lesson.

This master thesis is about art activity in the public library. The essay takes its starting point from Government cultural political directives and my purpose has been to study how these are followed up in the municipal level. My survey takes place at the main library of Flen in the county of Södermanland. What I am looking for is, what the art activity looks like, what is decided regarding it and what the strategies are. Furthermore I look into how library visitors understand and participate in the art activity.
