This study aims to describe how a company behind a well-established brand in the fashion industry has strategically chosen to communicate with their target market. Interviews with four individuals in different positions within the company have generated qualitative data, which is presented and analyzed in relation to the theoretical frame of reference in this study. The results show that the company does not use conventional marketing, but relies rather on marketing based word-of-mouth generated by its customer base due to its unique store concepts. Previous research has shown that this type of marketing strategy is effective and beneficial to the brand equity, a conclusion that is demonstrated to also apply to the survey object of this study. Furthermore, it is also shown that this is largely due to the distinct and coordinated image that the company maintains through strict standardization..

Antalet cancerfall ökar för varje år, 2005 insjuknade cirka 50 000 svenskar i någon form av cancersjukdom. Hälften av dessa har så långt gången sjukdom att bot inte är möjligt. Dessa patienter erbjuds palliativ vård vars huvudsyfte är att skapa möjligheter till god livskvalitet. Syftet med studien var att belysa cancerpatienters upplevelser av livskvalitet i palliativ vård. Studien genomfördes som en litteraturstudie och resultatet baserades på 10 vetenskapliga artiklar som söktes i databaserna Cinahl, PsycInfo och PubMed.

The purpose of this paper was to examine social workers' experiences of integration of unaccompanied children. We aimed to study which factors in the individual and the community social workers experience affect the integration and how they, based on their understanding, work to promote integration. The essay has a phenomenological approach and focuses on the social workers' own experiences of the phenomenon. The empirical data was obtained from qualitative interviews conducted with five social workers, all administrators in cases involving unaccompanied children. The result shows that the social workers feel that the desire to integrate is the most important presumption that must be present in the unaccompanied children.

Bakgrund: I Sverige drabbas cirka 2 600 kvinnor av gynekologisk cancer varje år. Sjukdomarna skiljer sig åt när det gäller symtom, behandling och prognos Behandling vid gynekologisk cancer och dess biverkningar påverkar kvinnan i hennes dagliga liv. Behandlingen är ofta en kombination av kirurgi, kemoterapi, radioterapi och hormonell terapi. Cancerdiagnos och behandling av cancersjukdom är förenade med fysisk, psykisk och social ohälsa. Syftet med litteraturstudien är att belysa kvinnors upplevelse av sexualitet och livskvalitet efter avslutad behandling av gynekologisk cancer.

Bakgrund: Årligen drabbas cirka 250 barn av cancer i Sverige, men betydligt fler berörs i barnets närhet. Ett cancerbesked är ofta starkt associerat med lidande och död, vilket leder till en stressfylld tillvaro för alla i familjen. Det är viktigt att sjuksköterskan ser till hela familjen och involverar dem i omvårdnaden, dels för att patienten ofta har ett starkt stöd att hämta från dem, men också för att delaktighet kan upplevas ge en viss kontroll över situationen. En annan fördel är att sjuksköterskan lättare kan upptäcka och ge det stöd som föräldrar och syskon behöver.Syfte: Att beskriva familjens upplevelse av att ha ett barn med cancersjukdom.Metod: Litteraturstudie med beskrivande design och modifierad innehållsanalys.Resultat: Att ha ett barn med cancer innebar en storm av känslor och en förändrad vardag, en händelse som upplevdes förändra livssituationen för all framtid. Föräldrarnas livsperspektiv blev annorlunda då de omvärderade mening och mål i livet.

Att drabbas av gynekologisk cancer är chockartat och kvinnor kan känna rädsla för att dö och oro inför framtiden. Sjuksköterskor har en viktig roll i vården av cancersjuka människor, men upplever sin kunskap begränsad. Syftet med den här litteraturstudien var att beskriva kvinnors upplevelse av att drabbas av ovarialcancer. Elva artiklar analyserades med manifest innehållsananlys, vilket resulterade i sex kategorier: att undvika och förneka sin cancer: att vara tömd på energi men fylld av känslor: att känna sig ensam och övergiven: att känna sig skyldig och vilja värna om närstående: att ta emot stöd för att hantera situationen: att existensen utmanas och livet värdesätts annorlunda. Resultatet visade att cancerbeskedet skapade kaos.

Aim: Many people react negatively when they find out that I work as an estate agent. They believe that estate agents earn more money then they should. What many do not know is how hard we must work and that it doesn´t suit someone who is looking for an 8-17 work. As an estate agent I thought it would be interesting to found out why the estate agents have such a bad reputation.Method: This essay is based on the interviews with estate agents and branch organizations but also on newspaper articles about real estate agents. Theory is collected marketing, where I have concentrate on concepts of branding, positioning, communication and image.Result & Conclusions: The factors, which I found in my investigation, that have an effect to the bad reputation are; media, commission, the customers and the bidding.

The study aims to examine how the people who have received special needs education during their schooling have experienced it.Since I wanted to take advantage of people's experiences of special needs education, I chose to conduct qualitative research interviews. Five people in the ages of 21-26 years old participated in the study.A summary of the work says that special needs education creates mixed feelings, feelings of joy and alienation. The positive as described in the work is that the special education teaching has created a classroom that is aligned along the pupil's needs and circumstances. This is a sociological study of religion that examines how gender and female Muslim identity is expressed during the Muslim fasting month of Ramadan in the swedish paper Dagens Nyheter in the year 1951, 1989 and 2009. The aim is to see who creates the image of Islam and Muslims in general and in particular the image of the Muslim woman and whose Islam is given space in the article material. The picture has changed with the increase in immigration from Muslim countries and that we have gone from a modern to a late modern society in which other patterns shape our identity. The aim of this master thesis is to study the students usage and experiences of the reference services at the university library at Linköping University. The four questions that I seek answers to are: - What kind of help do the students most often ask for at the reference desk? - To what extent do the students use the reference services for their studies? - What are the students experiences of the help they receive at the reference desk? - What are the students experiences of the treatment they receive from the librarians at the reference desk? I have studied literature that describes reference work and evaluation of reference work. I have also studied Christian Grönroos theory of service quality. I have distributed questionnaires to students at Linköping University.

Since storytelling is a growing form of teaching we wanted to interview teachers to see what their experiences and opinions were on the subject. Therefore the purpose of this study is to use interviews to examine teacher perceptions and experiences about storytelling and its effect on language development. I will investigate both the use when the teacher is telling a story but also when students are telling stories. With help from my supervisor I was able to come up with interview questions that would help me answer my research question. After the interviews I reviewed the answers and analyzed them.

När någon i en familj blir sjuk så påverkar det hela familjen. Därför handlar familjecentrerad omvårdnad om att se familjen som en helhet. Det innebär ett lidande att bli sjuk och lidandet behöver hopp och mening för att kunna genomlidas. För att kunna ge bra vård till barnen behöver vårdpersonalen skapa ett bra samarbete med föräldrarna och få föräldrarna att vara delaktiga i omvårdnaden.

Background: Type 1 Diabetes Mellitus is a chronical disease that often occurs early in life. In 2005 around 7000 children in Sweden was estimated with type 1 diabetes. When a child gets a chronical disease it affects the whole family. The parents will be the ones who take the main responsible for the child´s care. Purpose: The aim of this literature review was to describe the parents experiences of living with a child with type 1 diabetes.

Previous studies have shown positive results on the use of music as postoperative pain relief. Quantitative studies have examined the effect of music on rated pain and otherparameters such as anxiety, relaxation and blood-pressure. The purpose of this study was to investigate the expectations and experiences of patients and nurses onimplementing music as postoperative pain relief in an orthopedic unitQualitative design and semi-structured interviews were used to examine expectations and experiences. Five patients and five nurses in the unit were interviewed.Four themes developed during the data-analysis. These themes were ?Expectations on music as postoperative pain relief?, ?Experiences of music as postoperative pain relief?,?Effects of music as postoperative pain relief? and ?Continued implementation of musicas postoperative pain relief?.

Background: In Sweden, heart transplantation increases as a method of treatment. Patients undergoing heart transplantation require special needs of care. Nurses have to increase knowledge about experiences that these patients percieve to conform the health care in the future. In this study, health science has been used as a theoretical frame of reference which includes a patient perspective.Aim: The aim of this study was to describe experiences among patients, elder than 18 years old, undergoing heart transplantation.Method: The method was a qualitative descriptive study with a context analysis based on ten scientific articles and an autobiography corresponding with the aim of the study.Results: The results of this study showed six themes about experiences that emerged among patients undergoing heart transplantation: feeling of vitality, existential crisis, importance of social support, destructive feelings, capacity of going on and the experience of quality of life.Conclusion: It?s not a guarantee that the quality of life will increase among patients undergoing heart transplantation and they need a specialist trained nurse available to support at all hours..
