The aim of this study was to try to get an overall image of how participation is constituted in the organization of AMA, a Human Service Organization (HSO) that is part of the Vasteras municipality.  With focus on mainly participation but also communication and leadership the goal was to find out more about how the governing parts of the organization was able to communicate and create participation amongst their employees. Did the message come across? Using a triangulation method including interviews, surveys and observation hopefully this question would be answered along with trying to depict an overall image of the participation within the organization. The results indicated that there were both differences as well as similarities between the employees and the management with regards to how they experienced participation. A surprising result was that the geographical location was found to have an impact on how the staff perceived participation.

Syftet med denna systematiska litteraturstudie var att undersöka hur patienter med prostatacancer uppfattade den givna informationen om sin sjukdom och behandlingen av den. Författarna har utgått från Willman m fl (2006) evidensbaserade metod. De vetenskapliga artiklarna som legat till grund för studien granskades i protokoll av Carlsson & Eiman m fl (2003), modifierade av författarna. Studien innefattar tolv vetenskapliga artiklar. Författarna kom i resultatet fram till tre olika temaområden: informationsmaterial och hjälpmedel, informatörer och stödgivare samt behov av information.

Background:For patients with severe heart disease, may heart transplantation be the only opportunity for survival. Previous research highlights the importance of the nurse's role as supporters and knowledge brokers. People who has undergone heart transplant may be changed forever. Having to undergo a heart transplant can lead to that patients end up in a traumatic crisis. People's perception of herself and her perception of the world is also changing when the body is injured or suffers a disease.

Bakgrund: N?r ett barn drabbas av cancer f?r?ndras livet drastiskt. Detta g?ller inte bara f?r barnet utan ?ven f?r dess familj och omgivningen. Tidigare forskning beskrev att syskon upplevde sig hamna i skymundan som p?verkade deras fysiska, psykiska och sociala v?lm?ende.

På senare år har profilering blivit allt vanligare bland alla typer av organisationer, även bland myndigheter såsom lärosäten. Vi har valt att studera Lunds universitet samt Malmö högskola och vill med vår uppsats bidra till en ökad förståelse för lärosätenas image bland studenter. Vi vill också undersöka hur medarbetarna på lärosätenas informationsavdelningar ser på lärosätenas profil. Därmed ämnar vi studera hur koherent lärosätenas uppfattning om den egna profilen är med imagen bland studenterna. Med bättre kännedom om förhållandet mellan profil och image tror vi att lärosäten kan förbättra sin kommunikation med, och förståelse för, studenterna.

Många människor i alla åldrar insjuknar varje år i cancer. I Sverige insjuknar mer än 7000 personer i åldrarna 20-54 år. I denna åldersgrupp är det många som har barn. Dessa barn kan ha blandade upplevelser och reaktioner på sin förälders sjukdom, vilket kan vara av vikt för sjuksköterskan att känna till, för att kunna ge dessa barn ett bra stöd. Syfte: Syftet var att beskriva barns upplevelser och coping-mekanismer av att leva med en förälder som har cancer.

Abstract   Cinematic time is the most complex of all: it is composed of public time (clock), personal time (experienced) and in addition, it can run backwards, be contingent, stored and (re)created. The present study examines some aspects of cinematic time, with special reference to the instant, the moment and the present. The strictly defined instant or moment does not exist. It is a passage between the past and the future and it is impossible to record on film or a photograph. One example is the moment of death, which is an abstraction with zero duration.

AbstractThe aim of this study is to analyze how the Swedish company VisitSweden and The Swedish institute creates an image of Sweden and what that image looks like? And also to compare their goals and their ways of present Sweden to find out how that contributes to the images of Sweden. The method for this analyze is chosen from the work and theories of Norman Fairclough called ?critical discourse analyze.? The analysis focuses on the text and how the text is created and if the author?s opinions are hidden in the words. The method can be applied in many ways.

The purpose of this study is to, based on qualitative interviews, understand the home care staff's experiences of insufficiency and also which strategies they are using to deal with these experiences.The questions of this study are:In which situations are home care staff experiencing insufficiency?What copingstrategies do home care staff set out to deal with these experiences? Method: Interviews has been used as a method to gather empirical data.Theory: Theories of coping-strategies has been used as theory in the analyses of the empirical material.Results: The result of this study concludes that experiences of insufficiency mainly promotes in situations of lack of time for various reasons. The main strategies home care staff is using are planning, adapting, accepting, compensation, get themselves together, control and manage their emotions and understanding. Other situations that promote feelings of insufficiency are lack of competence and when the eldery person doesn't want to receive a planned effort. Other strategies they use are social support and changing the circumstances..

The Individual Program (within the continuation school) in Sweden is the third largest. Its purpose is that the students, who for some reason haven?t been able to be admitted to a National Program, shall get the chance to improve their possibilities to attend one. The difficulties the students, who are admitted to the Individual Program are carriers of, have a wide range. The purpose of the Individual Program is that no one should be excluded from any continuation school.

The aim of this Masters thesis is to investigate how the image of the Public library is described in the Swedish national library politics, and compare it with the image given of the public library in the Danish national library politics. The method used for this analysis is a comparative discourse analysis of the homepages produced by the Swedish central government Regeringen and Kulturrådet and its Danish counterpart Kulturministeriet and Biblioteksstyrelsen. Theories on postmodernity have been used to analyze how the Swedish and the Danish central governments image of the Public library corresponds with a changing society and the changing behaviour of the public library users. Our analysis concludes that the traditional view of the Public library as an institution mainly concerned with literature and reading still is of great significance in the discourse of the Swedish central government. In contrast, the Danish central government presents a more postmodern view of the public library as an institution that is part of the Information- and the Knowledge society.

Gymnastics is a reoccurring event in the physical education of many students. Despite this, there is still today limited research which describes the students? perspective and interest for this activity and if there are any differences between genders. The purpose of this study has therefore been to investigate students? interest for gymnastics and if there are any experiences, which can affect this interest.

Vid utvecklandet av en webbsida krävs spetskompetens i kunskaper relaterade till Internet. Företag tvingas därför i många fall att inhämta denna spetskompetens från externa webbyråer vid utvecklandet av sina webbsidor.I och med detta hamnar ett stort ansvar för denna kommunikationskanals marknadsföring hos webbyråerna. Webbyråerna får rollen som kommunikatörer av företagens image.För att imagen via webbsidan ska förmedlas på rätt sätt blir det viktigt att webbyråerna får tillgång till information angående företagets målgrupp och marknadsföringsstrategier.Därav blir kommunikation och samarbete mellan webbyrån och företag viktiga faktorer för webbsidans förmåga att leverera en korrekt utformad imageförmedling.Vi har med hjälp av olika kommunikations- och planeringsfilosofiteorier tagit fram en teoretisk referensram som legat till grund för vår analys och utvärdering av sambandet mellan samarbete och webbsidans förmåga att förmedla image.Vårt arbete som bygger på intervjuer och ett frågeformulär visade att det fanns ett samband mellan webbsidors förmåga att förmedla företagets imageegenskaper och det samarbete ur vilket webbsidan utvecklats.De slutsatser vi kom fram till var att samarbetet vid utvecklandet av en webbsida bör innehålla faktorer som är förknippade med Normanns processtyrningsfilosofier.Dessa faktorer är:Ömsesidig involveringGod kommunikationHänsyn till kundens kundDubbelriktat lärandePlanering är ett inlärningsförlopp.

Syftet med studien var att öka kunskapen kring hur företag genom annonsens uppbyggnad kan påverka sin image. En kvalitativ studie har genomförts genom insamling av primärdata. Annonser från tre företag valdes ut, varpå semistrukturerade intervjuer genomfördes med såväl företrädare för företagen som sexton respondenter. Studien visar att konsumenters tidigare kunskap och erfarenheter påverkar deras utvärdering av annonser. Annonser som uppfattas som mainstream kan både vara något positivt och negativt.

Cancer är en av de vanligast förekommande sjukdomarna i Sverige. Som behandling för cancer ges vanligen cellhämmande läkemedel, cytostatika. Biverkningar under cytostatikabehandling är svåra att undvika och några av de vanligaste är utmattning, illamående, kräkningar, håravfall och mukosit. Att drabbas av svår sjukdom kan leda till stort lidande hos människan. Genom att skapa sig en uppfattning om hur dessa biverkningar påverkar patienternas dagliga liv kan sjuksköterskan möta patienten i sitt lidande.
