Background: Intimate relationship violence is physical, psychological or sexual violence that a person is exposed to in a relationship. There is a strong correlation between intimate relationship violence and mental health problems. A psychiatric ward at a hospital in Sweden, is working with a new routine. According to this routine every new patient should be asked about intmate relationship violence as a part of the admission interview.Objective: The objective of this study was to study how the healthcare personnel is working with the routine, and also to study response rate, interventions and how the work has developed over time.Method: A quantitative study with a retrospective and descriptive studydesign. One hundred and two medical records were reviewed.

On the 1st of November 2010, the statutory audit was abolished for small limited companies. Work scientific research shows that dissatisfaction with physical or the psychosocial work environment often gives negative effects on the performed work. The purpose of our study is to chart the experience in work satisfaction and psychosocial work environment amongst nurses within psychiatric care. It is an empiric cross section study. The participants in the study contains nurses who are either employed on a conditional tenure or have a temporary post (>3 months) in policlinics and wards in general adult psychiatric care (n=126).

The purpose of this thesis is to study how preschool teachers can reach the goal of the swedish educational plan to prevent traditional gender roles for children ages 3-6 through drama in education.This is answered by four hypothesis based on Judith Butler's queer theory, George Herbert Mead's social psychological theory and Gavin Bolton and Dotothy Heathcotes drama pedagogical theories. The hypotheses are tested against four teachers' examples of their work.The hypotheses areHypothesis 1: By using the expert's mantle and active observation in teacher-in-role indrama educational exercises, we can see how the children internalize the heterosexualmatrix and the outline of the internalized other.Hypothesis 2: By using the "mistakes" that occur when children repeat performativeacts that do not fit with the heterosexual matrix, these other possible behaviors can bestrengthenedHypothesis 3: Through drama exercises that are not normative teachers can widen theheterosexual matrixHypothesis 4: Through drama pedagogical methods like teacher-in-role teachers canprovide possibilities of other performative acts and the creation of a more tolerantinternalized other.The analysis show that the respondents work within all these hypotheses in different ways and thathypotheses 2 is the one with the weakest support in the interwievs. The examples are also weakregarding the use of Boltons drama pedagogical methods, but that there are a number of othermethods in use.Some of the conclusions are that more theoretical knowledge in the preschool drama pedagogics tocounteract traditional gender roles and patterns, as well as the drama of educational theory need tobe linked to queer and social psychology research. There is also no monitoring of the long term effects of the work..

Den här studien analyserar fyra psykologiska och sociala faktorer i relation till arbetstillfredsställelse och ålder hos omvårdnadspersonal inom äldreomsorgen. De fyra faktorerna är: kvantitativa krav, kvalitativa krav, uppmuntrande ledarskap och rolltydlighet. Studien utfördes i en medelstor kommun i södra Sverige och 128 personer, undersköterskor och vårdbiträden, från kommunalt ägda och privatägda äldreboenden deltog. För att mäta generell arbetstillfredsställelse utvecklades en skala som mäter övergripande trivsel på arbetet. De fyra faktorerna beräknas med QPSnordic (General Nordic Questionnaire for Psychological and Social Factors at Work), som mäter psykologiska och sociala faktorer.

The effectively of transportation depends mostly of the speed, the distance and density of the bales. To increase the capacity of bale transportation larger loads and higher density of the bales is necessary.

Bakgrund: Hepatit C är en leverinflammation som orsakas av ett virus. HCV räknas som blodburen smitta. Den största riskgruppen för att få smittan är sprutnarkomaner, vårdpersonal och patienter som fick smittan i vårdsammanhang, innan blod som användes inom sjukvården testades på viruset.Syftet: Att beskriva hur människor med kronisk hepatit C upplever att leva med sin sjukdom och hur bemötandet från sjukvården och omgivningen upplevs.Metod: Litteraturöversikt med kvalitativ ansats. Sju vetenskapliga, kvalitativa artiklar användes och en manifest innehållsanalys genomfördes.Resultat: Informanterna upplevde en förlorad tro på den egna kroppsförmågan och en sämre livssituation på grund av de fysiska sjukdomssymtomen. Att leva med hepatit C gjorde att framtiden kändes osäker och oförutsägbar.

AbstraktI introduktionen visar litteraturen att det är viktigt att ge handledning och utbildning till vårdpersonal som vårdar demenssjuka. Oro, irritabilitet och aggressivitet det vill säga agitation, är en del av BPSD (Behavioural and Psychological Symptoms in Dementia) som är vanligt förekommande hos demenssjuka. I omvårdnaden om demenssjuka personer som har agiterat beteende behöver vårdpersonal bemästra olika omvårdnadshandlingar för att underlätta mötet och lugna den demenssjuke. Syftet med denna litteraturstudie var att beskriva omvårdnadshandlingar som kan användas av vårdpersonal för att lugna agiterade dementa. Den metod som valdes var en litteraturstudie som omfattade 19 vetenskapliga artiklar.

Med denna socialpsykologiska studie ville vi få en ökad förståelse för vad socialt stöd upplevdesbetyda för rehabiliterande individers syn på sin psykiska ohälsa. De åtta intervjuernagenomfördes i anslutning till ett rehabiliteringsprojekt för personer med psykisk ohälsa i enav Sveriges kommuner. De intervjuade personerna var inskrivna i rehabiliteringsprojektet ochdeltog i dess aktiviteter. Resultatet visade att dialoger med personer som hade erfarenhet avliknande psykisk ohälsa och professionella hade störst inverkan på individernas syn på sinpsykiska ohälsa. I analysen använde vi Goffmans teori om stigma, Meads teori om rollövertagandeoch Bubers dialogteori.

The purpose is to illustrate the phenomenon of self-harm from a social psychological and sociological perspective. The purpose is furthermore to examine the role social relationships play in the individuals´ self- imagine and what role does identification play for anyone who harm themselves? We want to examine in what way social relationships are important and how they function for individuals who harm themselves, both once they have started to harm themselves, and if the relationships in any part caused the cutting to begin with.Questions:How do individuals shape their identity based on self- harm? Which self-image do individuals have who self-harm? Is there anything in the person's previous social relationships that have caused them to begin to hurt themselves?Method:In this paper we have analyzed five autobiographies. We have used open coding from grounded theory as analytical method and subject positions based on discourse analysis.Theory:We have used the Cooley concepts looking glass self, Foucault's theory of power, Giddens' concept of ontological security and existential anxiety.Results and Analysis:We found six different categories that we thought were central. These were negative self-image, guilt, lack of family support, negative experiences of others' views, the protective identity as self- harmer and insecure social relationships in school.Conclusion:The self-harming is a very complex behavior.
