Problem formulation: The awareness and importance of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) is growing within both corporations and society at large. The corporate progress in sustainable development can be both profitable and essential for the potential to compete globally. The value of sustainability reporting may differ between industries and companies of different sizes. The demands for sustainability reports are expected to increase. By 2010, no previous survey on sustainability reporting practices had been conducted within Swedish corporations. Purpose: The aim of the current study was to examine sustainability reports within Swedish corporations during 2010 and to compare the findings with preceding surveys to determine differences over time and between corporations.

AbstractThe purpose of this theses is to compare three different political groups, The IRA, The Baader-Meinhof group and the Al Qaida, who have all used terroristic methods to achieve their separate goals.By finding out about their history, goals, structures and methods I have made a comparison to see what joins them, what separates them, what originated the birth of their movements and how they can or could proceed with their violent actions to the point that they had actual impact on international politics.It has all been done through a litteraturebased study.My focuse has been on Al Qaida since it's is the only one of the three who is still active today and who, through its cellstructure, represents a new form of global terrorism that may have great influence on the structural patterns of other political groups and criminal organizations in the future.Key words:Al QaidaBaader-MeinhofIRATerrorismCellstructure.

In modern society globalisation is a fact within all industries, the textile industry included. Due to improvement in areas such as logistics and communication international trade have developed fast. As changes occur rapidly on the global market and companies must adjust and revise their processes in order to stay competitive.Because of the global price reduction consumers around the world expect low-price products, which mean that the companies have to find new ways to produce in a cost-efficient way. To maximize profit most of the textile production is situated in low-cost countries due to its labour-intensive character. It is crucial for fashion companies to allocate their activities in their value-chain effectively in order to reduce lead-times.

The population growth in Europe and with that in Sweden was enormous under 18th century. The results became housing shortage in large part of Europe. Tight residency/ inhabited, poverty and emigration were series of social questions in Sweden. Private house (egnahem) as in the beginning was an idea from England and Germany became a political measure and the answer at those miserable social circumstances in Sweden. The purpose with the private house (egnahem) was to help those new people moved in to towns with place to live and counteract movers to towns and emigration. With the governmental loan and land availability that some municipalities and wealthy people contributed with, could people get a place to live with the small garden. The city garden (trädgårdstaden) with their future idealistic idea/utopia, English gardens, ideas with roots in the old-fashioned gardens (allmogeträdgårdar) and lots of books and periodicals were the source of inspirations. From these the private house gardens (egnahemsträdgårdar) were born. Object for my study is my and my family?s own house in Limhamn, south west of Malmö which was built in 1912 under private house gardens era. The garden and the building have still trace and element from the time of private house. My suggestion is inspired by the private home style with a new thinking design that answers to daily need and the busy life style; a rather easy to maintain for green environment. A more relaxing and peaceful garden with simple design, a garden despite that it is surrounded by neighbours and streets invites in harmony and dreams..

Syftet med uppsatsen är att belysa och beskriva en outsourcingrelation mellan ett globalt och ett lokalt företag samt att redogöra för förhållandet ur de båda företagens perspektiv. Uppsatsen bygger på kvalitativa intervjuer med nyckelpersoner i de båda fallföretagen. Vi har framförallt dragit tre slutsatser i uppsatsen. För det första menar vi att beroendeförhållandet i outsourcingsituationen förändras, framförallt för StorMat, om man ser till kort eller lång sikt. För det andra menar vi att det är speciellt svårt att åstadkomma en långvarig relation mellan en global och en lokal aktör på grund av asymmetri.

Prostitution has for a long time been an understudied field in economics. Due in part to a lack of quantitative and empirical material, itself largely a result of the illegality or semi-illegality of the activity in most countries, the factors that explain the prevalence of, and pricing in, prostitution have remained largely undiscussed. In the last 20 year, this have begun to change: new theories ? notably by Edlund & Korn (2002), Rao et al (2003) and Della Giusta et al (2009) ? have been formulated and the rise of internet based escort sites have made large scale quantitative studies possible. This thesis examines if, and in what way, court documents can help expand the understanding of the economics of prostitution in Sweden.

The purpose of this paper was to investigate what young behavioral science students, born in the 1980s, think is important in their future work life. The purpose has also been to investigate what attitudes the behavioral science students have towards their future work life, and what place work has in the young behavioral science students lives. After clarification of above, the aim has also been to compare the results with former research. Thereafter the purpose has been to investigate whether traditional work motivation and job satisfaction theories are applicable for young people today. The empirical material is based on interviews with six women who study behavioral science at various levels.

Introduction: The concept of CSR was first coined in the 1950?s and refers to corporate vol-untary work to contribute to a sustainable society. In Sweden, companies within the finance sector are among the worst when it comes to implementing CSR in their daily work. The debate on whether companies should engage in CSR activities or not, is extremely relevant nowadays. Right now we are facing a time where the demand on companies to take their social responsi-bility becomes more intensified.

The purpouse of this study is to find out how and if a Content Managment System (CMS) can benefit from applied User Experience Design (UX). A work project has been executed where a client wanted the students to create a user friendly CMS for adding content to a global hotel review site. A prototype of a CMS was created based on literature studies about UX and CMS. The prototype of the user friendly CMS was then tested through user tests and interviews with key users. Bakgrund och problem: I samband med en tilltagande miljöförstöring har intresset förhållbarhetsarbete ökat. Detta har skapat press på företagen att redovisa miljöpåverkan ochutveckla hållbarhetsarbetet. Två industrier som är kritiserade för sin omfattandemiljöförstöring är gruv- respektive modeindustrin vars påverkan drabbar såväl natur sommänniskor och djur. Hur den konstaterade miljöpåverkan redovisas och eventuella skillnadermellan de två (helt) olika industrierna ligger till grund för den fortsatta studien.Syfte: Syftet med denna uppsats är att mer ingående undersöka redovisningen avmiljöindikatorer. Fokus riktas på omfattning och skillnader samt utveckling över enfemårsperiod mellan företag verksamma inom den svenska gruv- respektive modeindustrinsom redovisar sitt hållbarhetsarbete utifrån Global Reporting Initiative (GRI).Avgränsning: Studien är avgränsad till att endast behandla den miljöpåverkan de valdaföretagen har, ansvaret för de sociala och ekonomiska områdena har således bortsetts.Metod: Studien omfattar en kvalitativ innehållsanalys av hållbarhetsredovisningar för åren2009 till 2013 för sex utvalda företag, tre från vardera industri.

Jag gör en hermeneutisk och holistisk undersökning av det internationella adoptionsfenomenet genom att ställa en dominerande diskurs i relation till en motdiskurs. På grund av ämnets omfattning kommer jag att ha Sverige som utgångspunkt för diskussionen. Det land varifrån den internationella adoptionen sker är i denna undersökning Sri Lanka.Med frågeställningen "Hur konstrueras en diskurs?" undersöks de aspekter den internationella adoptionsverksamheten är sammansatt av.Jag vill påvisa den internationella adoptionsverksamhetens hegemoniska/diskursiva status och belysa den vetenskapliga och rationella praxis den är i besittning av.

What kind of international actor is the European Union and how shall we define it? These are questions that many have tried to answer often by addressing the apparent uniqueness of the EU itself. One of these theories is Normative power Europe. A theory whose main argument is that the EU is best perceived as a changer of norms. My aim with this thesis is to test this claim and to see if the Union should be regarded as a normative power.

The main purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of the non steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) meloxicam in connection with dehorning of goat kids. Six 2-3,5 weeks old dehorned kids were given daily intramuscular injections of meloxicam (0,5 mg/kg; MG) and five age-matched dehorned kids were given isotonic NaCl (NG) for 3 days. The study was randomized and double blinded. The behavior of the kids was studied one day before dehorning, on the dehorning day and three days after. Blood samples were collected each day before the treatment and analyzed for plasma concentrations of meloxicam, hematocrit, cortisol, progesterone and glucose.
