Det här examensarbetet handlar om på vilket sätt Internet/IT kan göra livet lättare för handikappade. Arbetet grundar sig på mitt intresse för teknik och vad den kan göra för nytta för både pedagoger, lärare och främst elever i särskolan.Jag har bl a undersökt hur Internet/IT används av elever på olika särskolor i Sverige genom att skicka ut e-mail enkäter via e-mail. Med hänsyn till lärarna på särskolorna så har jag inte publicerat vare sig namn eller skolor i arbetet. Detta beror på att jag i min frågeställning inte brytt mig om att få med detta. Det var svaren och inte de svarande som var de väsentliga för arbetet.Jag har också tagit del av aktuell information som jag har funnit på Internet samt information från rapporter.

 Purpose/Aim: The goal of this thesis is to examine access and knowledge computers and the Internet among the senior-year students of Anacostia High School. Do the students of this facility have the same opportunity as the residents from better socioeconomical backgrounds or are they being excluded from the technology? Material/Method: To approach the thesis goal I have used a quantitative method. More specifically, a questionnaire was handed out to the senior year students at Anacostia High School. Main results: The study has shown that most of the students of Anacostia had in some way access to computers and Internet.

Idag spenderar ungdomar en stor del av sin fritid på den ?nya? scenen internet. Uppsatsens syfte är att undersöka internet som möjlig arena för socialt ungdomsarbete. Utifrån ungdomars perspektiv belyses faktorer som är möjliggörande respektive hindrande för ett sådant arbete. Frågeställningar:? Vilken betydelse har internet för ungdomars dagliga interaktion?? Hur ser behovet ut av socialt ungdomsarbete på internet?? Hur kan en relation till en socialarbetare skapas och fungera på internet?Tre fokusgruppsintervjuer har genomförts via MSN Messenger, där sammanlagt 12 ungdomar besvarade och diskuterade de aktuella frågorna.

In today?s IT-community, consumers use the internet in a increasing rate to find information or to purchase products and services. This has led to a growth in the market, but also a greater competition between e-stores and web shops. To separate yourself from the masses has become more important, the question is; what strategy should the IT-salesman use? The meaning of this scientific study is to find and focus on witch the primary factors/aspects are, that controls and is the very foundation for the consumer making a purchase, by using the internet. The purpose is to give companies a clear view of what it is that influence the consumer into buying theirs products, and how this group responds to different strategies and factors.

This thesis in social anthropology is based on a field study on the Internet exploring Tibetan identity. With a post-modern approach the thesis explores the possibility fora non-tibetan to create a Tibetan Internet identity and become a part of the Tibetan community that exist on the Internet..

Flera av Sveriges största kvälls- och dagstidningar är sedan ett par år tillgängliga på Internet. Ett alternativ till att distribuera dem via Internet är broadcasting. I det här examensarbete har tyngdpunkten legat på att utforma en personlig tidning anpassad för att distribueras via rundradionätet i stället för via Internet. Jag har analyserat tre olika lösningar nämligen 1. En webbaserad och plattformsoberoende variant i XML + Java, 2.

Barnens bibliotek, a Swedish Childrens Library on the Internet with a nationwide assignment is compared to three Childrens Library in the USA with local assignments. All four Childrens Libraries on the Internet are compared in terms of content, form, purpose and if they stimulate childrens intelligences according to Howard Gardners theory about multiple intelligences. Three different instruments are used to review the websites. The instruments are created on the basis of literature and the website Barnens bibliotek. To complement these instruments, written interviews are performed with librarians responsible for each reviewed website.

The internet has become an increasingly part of everyday life with digital artefacts like smartphones and tablets. We?re looking at the usage of social networks and how the usage relates to traditional addiction. We conducted a quantitative research where 84 poeple finished our web survey. Our research focused on addiction, time spent on social networks, normal and non-normal usage and general user patterns.

The Internet protocol of today has been used for over 20 years. A new version of the protocol has been developed to replace the old one. This is a direct result due to the explosive growth of the usage of the Internet. This follows by new demands which needs new solutions. This report brings up the old protocol IPv4, the new protocol IPv6 and shows what kind of changes that has been developed to meet the users demand.The report brings up two important aspects; internet security and mobility.

Att handla på Internet har blivit mycket populärt. Allt fler företag öppnar handelsportaler på Internet där konsumenten kan köpa företagets produkter. I och med att kunden inte kan se produkten i verkligenheten, utan bara som en bild på Internet, händer det att kunden blir missnöjd med produkten och väljer att returnera den. Produkter som säljs på Internet har en tendens att returneras i högre grad än andra produkter som säljs på traditionellt sätt. När det gäller betalningen av produkterna har konsumenterna många olika betalningssätt att välja bland.

Den här kandidatavhandlingen undersöker fördelarna och begränsningarna med Internetbaserade operativsystem i molnet, så kallade Internet OS, och hur IT-företag ser på ämnet. Internet OS är operativsystem som placerar sina resurser och processorkraft ute på Internet, ofta med hjälp av olika molnettjänster. Det finns problem och utmaningar med Internet OS. Dessa problem kan vara ett hinder för företag att överge de traditionella operativsystemen, som exempelvis Windows, och övergå till Internet OS. Det saknas undersökningar om IT-företag vill eller kan flytta sin verksamhet till molnet.

This paper deals with the use of Internet at Swedish public libraries. The author asks whether public libraries should or should not limit access to information available on the Internet. Starting from the American discussion, concerning Internet at public libraries, the author shows the Swedish attitudes. The paper demonstrates that many Swedish public libraries have adopted rules forbidding retrieval of certain kinds of information, such as hard-core pornography and racist propaganda. The persons in charge of such actions claim that public libraries should provide high-quality educational literature and should not spread mass-produced, provocative information.

Denna rapport beskriver utvecklingsprocessen av ett bokningssystem till en frisersalong. Bokningssystemet ska användasför att boka tider för kunder och också underlätta administrationen för de anställda. I rapporten beskrivs arbetsprocessen steg för steg med kravspecifikation, designspecifikation, gränssnitt och till sist resultat. Bokningssystemet täckte alla grundläggande krav som kunden hade. En förbättring vore att i utvecklingen av gränssnittet mer noggrant analysera användarens krav ur ett användbarhetsperspektiv.

The aim of this thesis is to examine how the Swedish Film Institute?s arguments regarding file sharing, copyright and the Internet relates to the changes made in the Swedish copyright law during 2003 and 2007, using the current debate about surveillance versus liberty on the Internet as a backdrop. The theory used is based on Lawrence Lessig?s ideas about how a network such as the Internet can be controlled, and what regulating forces a government can use to constrain a certain behavior such as illegal file sharing. By examining referral statements made by the Swedish Film Institute to five different communications from the Swedish government regarding copyright and film politics an idea analysis is being used as a method to answer the following sub-questions: 1.) How has the Swedish copyright law evolved during the latest years? 2.) What arguments are being used by the Swedish Film Institute in issues regarding file sharing, copyright and the Internet? 3.) Are the arguments being used by the Swedish Film Institute regarding these issues changing during the examined period? The findings of the study show that the Swedish Film Institute has been eager to support a more powerful expansion of the copyright laws, often suggesting more powerful solutions than the Swedish government itself.

Syftet med denna undersökning är att hjälpa lärare undervisa sina elever så att de når förmågan att ?söka information från olika källor och värdera dessa? (Skolverket, 2011, s. 223). För att uppfylla syftet har jag valt att arbeta utifrån följande frågeställningar:-       Vilka fördelar finns det med informationssökning på Internet utifrån det sociokulturella perspektivet?-       Vad bör lärare tänka på när de undervisar i informationssökning på Internet?-       Hur kan lärare undervisa i källkritik på Internet?Den metod jag använt är att göra en litteraturstudie i det aktuella ämnesområdet för att söka svar på mina frågeställningar.
