Syftet: Syftet med studien var att belysa kvinors upplevelser av kroppen efter en cancerrelaterad mastektmoi. Bakgrund: Allt fler kvinnor drabbas av bröstcancer i dagsläget. Detta har gjort att behandlingen har utvecklats och fler kvinnor överlever sin bröstcancer. Den kirurgiska metoden mastektomi är ett alternativ till att avlägsna bröstcancern vilket kan påverka kvinnans upplevelse av kroppen både fysiskt och psykiskt.Sjuksköterskan har en betydande roll kring kvinnorna. Metod: Detta är en litteraturstudie som bygger på artiklar med kvantitativa samt kvalitativa metoder.

This study was a qualitative analysis of the covers of six lifestyle magazines, three addressed to women and three addressed to men. We have studied the cover photographs, the teasers and their relations. The purpose of this study was to answer the questions: According to the magazines, what are male interests and what are typical female interests? Who is the ideal man and who is the ideal woman? Is there a certain way you need to look to be able to be on a magazine cover? And how often do the magazines encourage you to consume? The study was based on thirty covers, five from each magazine. The Swedish magazines are VeckoRevyn, Amelia, Damernas Värld, King of Sweden, Café and the American version of GQ. We?ve used semiotics and rhetorical methods to analyze the material.

The average length of life is increasing in the western world, hence the older population is growing. A common health problem among the elderly is malnutrition. Malnutrition causes decreased Body strength and is associated with an amplified risk of infections, depression, fractures and increased mortality. The health care system is therefore faced with the challenge to prevent malnutrition among the growing population of elderly. This could be done by providing nutritious foods developed to meet the specific needs of elderly. The overall objective of this project was to test a healthy energy dense drink based on oats targeted for the elderly consumers as a strategy to prevent malnutrition among elderly.

Syftet med denna undersökning är att undersöka och belysa pedagogers syn på rörelseaktiviteters betydelse för barnens språkutveckling. Jag vill också få kunskap om man arbetar på olika sätt med rörelseaktiviteter och språkutveckling när det gäller barnens ålder.Jag har använt mig av intervjuer som verktyg för att uppnå syftet med min undersökning. När jag formulerade mina intervjufrågor utgick jag från min frågeställning. Jag valde att genomföra intervjuerna via mail. Jag har intervjuat 5 pedagoger.

Cattle have a species specific movement pattern when lying down and getting up. They need sufficient space for their heads to perform these movements normally. The aim of this study was to investigate the lying down and getting up behaviour of beef bulls at a Swedish farm operation. The hypothesis was that bulls older than 10 months (over approximately 400 kg) were disturbed by a horizontal front rail and that the time to lie down and get up differed from what can be regarded as normal based on earlier scientific studies. The bulls were Swedish Red and White (SRB), Swedish Friesian (SLB) or crossbreeds of these two, and were kept in a cubicle system with a stall front design where there was a horizontal rail 40 cm above the stall floor.

 This bachelor?s thesis purpose is to examine how library staff experiences the meeting with non-Swedish speaking users of public libraries, and how they solve different situations. Today there is not much research on this subject but we find these questions important to study because we think it is good to be aware of the situations that can arise and discuss how to solve any problems. To have a basis for this qualitative study we conducted group interviews with library staff, where they are asked about their experiences with non-Swedish speaking users. In the analysis the results of the interviews are compared to previous research and related to communication theory, which is the theoretical framework for this study.

Metod För att svara på syftet i denna studie valdes metoden kvalitativ innehållsanalys av halvstrukturerade intervjuer med 6 vårdare som arbetade på slutenpsykiatriskavdelning med speciell inriktning mot vård av personer med EIP. Resultat Genom innehållsanalys av intervjuerna framkom tre teman med tillhörande subteman. Tema 1: Att hantera utåtagerande symptom, subteman: Att hantera splitting, Att hantera ångest, utspel och självskada. Tema 2: Att arbeta tillsammans för att nå omvårdnadsmål, subteman: Enhetligt förhållningssätt, Struktur i omvårdnaden.

ABSTRACTBackground: Obesity and overweight are health issues that more than every tenth person around the world suffers from and the number of individuals with BMI >30 is every growing. As a result, more patients that are subjects to anesthesia will have an increased BMI. Changes in respiration, airway anatomy, altered drug metabolism and multiple physiological changes in the Body makes general anesthesia, of the patient with obesity, an anesthesiological challenge.Purpose: The aim of this study is to identify the specific anesthesiological nursing care of the patient with a BMI >30, undergoing general anesthesia.Method: A research plan is created and to test its credibility, a pilotstudy of 15 surveys in two surgical departments will be conducted. This study has a qualitative inductive design and the data collected through semistructured questionnaires. The result was analyzed using qualitative content analysis.Result: The result showed a clear focus on three main areas; airway management, pharmaceuticals and positioning of the patient.

We have studied the process of recruiting young people to the white power movement. With the help of theoretical concepts as Outsiders and Stigma, we have elaborated the purpose of the study. The focus of the study lays in finding out which elements contributes to adolescence seeking membership in white power, and furthermore what white power organizations offers young people, to attract them to recruitment. We also want to find out if it possibly lays a desire for communion, behind adolescences decision to join these movements, and also how the communion manitains within the group? To expand our knowledge in the field of White Power, we have taken note of a Body of literature that deals with the current topic, and previous research that treats questions about subculture, community and recruitment.

Background:A trauma is a potential life threatening state which demands special resources and optimal care. Trauma doesn't just mean physical violence against the Body, it can also put the patient in a psychological crisis. The trauma care in the emergency department is a short and intensive assessment between the patient and the emergency staff, where there is a risk that the patient may feel exposed and uncomfortable. For the nurse to be able to provide security and meet the patients' needs of well-being during the trauma care, the nurse has to try to understand the patients' needs and experiences. Aim: The aim of this study was to illuminate the patient's experiences during trauma care in the emergency department.

Syftet med studien var att undersöka om de gymnasieelever i årskurs 3 som uppgav att de försökte minska sin vikt hade ett högre Body Mass Index (BMI) än de som inte försökte minska sin vikt, samt undersöka vilka faktorer som påverkade gymnasieelevernas vilja att gå ned i vikt? Författarna använde en survey-metod i form av en enkätundersökning för att kunna jämföra variabler samt se orsakssamband och påverkansfaktorer. Enkäterna besvarades på den aktuella gymnasieskolan med respektive klassföreståndare närvarande. Studiens resultat baseras på tre gymnasieklasser i årskurs 3 och omfattar 52 elever, varav 35 flickor och 17 pojkar. Resultatet visade att den största andelen deltagare som ville minska sin vikt var de normalviktiga och anledningen var för att de ansåg sig själva som för tjocka.
