I mitt examensarbete så har jag undersökt hur väl det lämpar sig att använda sig avtydliga grafiska ikoner för att skapa en karaktärsdesign som är tydligt identifierbar, oavsett grafisk stil. Jag har fokuserat på den första fasen, koncepttecknandet i detta arbete.koncepttecknandet valdes som metod eftersom detta är det första steget i de flesta produktioner och det är i just denna fas man kan effektivisera arbetet även långt fram iproduktionen.Metoden som jag använt är att studera dvd:er från Gnomon Workshop och Massive Black för att undersöka hur olika, väl etablerade konceptartister, går till väga för att undersöka grafiska stilar eller hur de förhåller sig till utmärkande element i karaktärsdesign inom en produktion. Jag har sedan utfört ett praktiskt arbete där jag skapat tre karaktärsdesigner inom tre grafiska stilar. Dessa designer har sedan konverterats till de två stilar de inte har sitt ursprung inom.Konverteringarna utvärderas sedan genom intervjuer med respondenter där de får granska designerna och sätta poäng på hur väl de identifierar karaktärsdesignerna mellan de grafiska stilarna.Jag kommer fram till att fler ikoner bidrar till en större identifierande faktor då man skapar karaktärer och konverterar dessa till andra stilar samt att tre är det minsta antalet ikoner är lämpligt att använda då man vill skapa en tydligt identifierbar karaktär, oavsett grafisk stil..

This study aims to investigate whether or how the tour operator Fritidsresors customers gets affected by their sustainable environmental work and what kinds of effects the work has generated. A secondary data analysis of Fritidsresors website has been made, and an in-depth interview with Fritidsresors sustainability manager. Also a quantitative survey was conducted by fifty respondents, all customers of Fritidsresor. The answers have since been interpreted and processed in accordance with a comparative and phenomenological approach and with an exploratory purpose. Scientific articles have been studied and analyzed in order to generate an explanation for the phenomenon as a research field, and how previous research has looked.

This master's thesis deals with how a school class of 19 students that are 12 years old,perceive the conception of the library and its activities, and how this can be studied by usingfour different approaches: analysis of the children's drawings, analysis of the children'sessays and analysis of their answers to questions in an inquiry and in interviews. The aim of this masters thesis is to explore a mediators practical procedure during booktalks. The main question is: Why do librarians have booktalks and what does it mean to have booktalks for children? In order to answer our main question, we have used these three questions: - Why do our interviewed librarians have booktalks? - How do our informants prepare their booktalks and what do their presentations look like? - Do our informants have any follow-ups of their booktalks and if so, how do they do that? To limit the thesis, we have concentrated our study to Swedish public libraries and to children in the elementary school. We have conducted qualitative interviews with three librarians who do booktalks for children as a part of their job. The thesis theoretical basis is Aidan Chambers theory about the Reading Circle and especially the parts enabling adult and selection.

The purpose of this Master?s thesis is to examine what role the new city library in Halmstad has for its users. The questions posed in this study are: What do the users actually do at the library? What roles are the most significant according to the users? Have the politicians succeeded in their intention of realizing a modern library according to the users? The theoretical starting point is Andersson?s and Skot-Hansen?s theory of four different roles of public libraries. Vidare vill vi ta reda på hur de skriver om honom, varför de skriver som de gör, vilka egenskaper Zlatan Ibrahimovic har som gör att det skrivs så mycket om honom samt vad det stora fokuset på honom får för konsekvenser. I vår analys kommer vi koppla resultatet till teorier som maskulinitet inom sportjournalistiken, virvelvindseffekt och tabloidisering.Vi har gjort en kvalitativ undersökning med hjälp av halstrukturerade djupintervjuer. Totalt har vi genomfört fem intervjuer med reportrar, krönikörer och nyhetschefer på de två kvällstidningarna i Sverige.

The main purpose with this study was to get an insight in how to best be able to help children with language difficulties, and learn to see those who are in need of extra help and attention.The study is the result of three separate interviews with a speech therapist, a preschool teacher, and a teacher for children with special needs. The other information that my study is built on comes from books.The answers that I got from the interviews questions, have I built my discussions from.Since I only have done three interviews, can´t I do any general conclusions, from my findings.The answers that I got shows that it`s not always the same answers from the speech therapist, preschool teacher and the teacher for children with special needs, are the same. The purpose of this Bachelor thesis is to gain insight into themeaning of the mobile library for its users by investigatingwho the users are, how they use the mobile library, why theyuse the mobile library and what the users want from the bookbus service. The methods used are observations, surveystudy and qualitative interviews.The theoretical framework of the study is based onAndersson?s and Skot-Hansen?s model of the public librarywith its four different library profiles, together with PierreBourdieu´s lifestyle theory where habitus and the concept ofcultural capital are used to analyze the role of the book busin people?s lives.My conclusion is that the mobile library is very important toits users since reading is an important part of their lives andit gives them easy access to books of several genres. The purpose of this study is to investigate how a children's book is suggested to be prepared in order to be accepted for publication by a publishing house in Sweden today.My questions was first to clarify the concept of a "children's book". Secondly, to understand if there are any guidelines to follow regarding the design and illustration of a children´s book, and how to proceed with the best chances of getting a mauscript published.To answer the question, I have chosen to use a qualitative method containing questionnaire items involving eleven Swedish publishers of children's literature.My results show that children's books includes all literature that has an target audience of people between 0-18 years of age. The most important thing is that the book's material is appropriate to the target group's level of mental perceptions and emotional competence. The material which then is submitted to the publisher will need to be of the highest quality and the author must investigate a consistent niche in order to submit the material to a publisher..

This thesis sets out to investigate three questions, first, how the Belarusian democratization process has progressed since the country?s independence in 1991 to the year of 2006. Second, how the relationship between Russia and Belarus has progressed during this time and third, if and how Russia has affected the democratization process.
