Den första januari 1998 infördes enligt ett riksdagsbeslut förskoleklassen i hela landet. Det innebar i praktiken att förskolans verksamhet för sexåringarna flyttades in i skolan och blev en egen skolform, en frivillig verksamhet i den obligatoriska skolan. Vid inrättandet av förskoleklassen var en intention att ge sexåringarna en likvärdig grund inför skolstarten samt att föra in förskolepedagogiken i skolan. Syftet med vårt arbete är ta reda på var förskoleklassen befinner sig i förhållande till förskolans tradition respektive skolans tradition. Vi vill också lyfta fram förskoleklassens relation till att den inte är obligatorisk, vilket grundskolan är.

The long historical bakground of the kimono cangive a better understanding of its construction and its contexts as well as its individualconditions, all is to be taken in consideration before exhibiting the kimono. The Scanian woodfences has been determined by two mainly elements: Scania's composition of tree species, with a large element of deciduous forest, and the local building tradition which has more in common with the European continent than the Swedish tradition. By examining responses from ethnological question lists deriving from the first half of the 1900s, combined with literature studies, I have been able to deepen and broaden the knowledge behind the various fencing design. In addition I ?ve constructed maps which could illustrate their historical geographic distribution.I have come to the conclusion that there was three main types of woodfences that was most common until the barbed wire was introduced in the early 1900s and later on replaced the elderly woodfences. Common for the three main types is that the base material was made out of Juniperus communis, this largely because of its durability against rot.

With examples from a single classroom situation, several educational moments show what goes on between the teacher and the student. The teacher?s responsibility in the learning process is, with a gesture frozen in the air of the moment, to lead and follow the student in her tentative efforts at seeking knowledge. Initially, it is an attempt to shed light upon the "not yet seen" with a certainty that the student herself possesses the capacity and the aptitude to reach greater insight and clarity in her understanding. The Validation/Feil Method presented in this instructional situation illustrates how best to communicate with elderly people suffering from Alzheimer?s dementia.

Under de senare åren har intresset att betrakta äldre musik på ett stiltroget sätt ökat. Detta intresse har medfört att man nu lägger allt större vikt vid kunskap om tiden då musiken skrevs, för att förstå denna musik på ett djupare plan. Forskningen kring detta har försvårats genom att de källor man har från tiden, ofta säger emot varandra. Detta gör det svårt att avgöra vad i källorna som man egentligen kan påstå är en avbild av en tradition eller vad som är en mans egen uppfattning och tolkning av samtidens musiktradition. Genom detta arbete har jag närmat mig denna problematik genom att jämföra tre viktiga spelböcker från 1750-talet för att på så sätt få fram vilka olikheter och gemensamma nämnare dessa böcker har.

The purpose of this study is to examine to what extent the senior level Swedish school can be viewed as supporting, or counteracting, a colonial discourse that legitimizes global and national injustices. The study is executed through a discourse analysis of five textbooks in social science for senior level Swedish schools.Using elements from Foucault and Edward Said a theoretical framework is constructed, in which a colonial discourse is perceived as structured around four clusters of ideas, namely (i) the use of dichotomies, (ii) the concept of progress and civilization, (iii) the construction of -we- as synonymous with (ii), and (iv) the construction of -the others- as the opposite of (ii) and, therefore, the opposite of -us-.The results show that a colonial discourse is still highly present in the textbooks, in that the texts are structured around dichotomies such as tradition/modernity and democracy/dictatorship. Sweden and the Western world are perceived as closely associated with democracy, freedom, and modernity, whereas -the others- of the world are being associated with e.g. poverty, conflict, tradition, and ignorance. -The others- within Sweden, i.e.

Ämnet barn i sekter är bristfälligt belyst. För 12 år sedan gjordes en statlig utredning SOU 1998:113 I God tro men sedan dess har inte mycket hänt. Sekter tenderar att isolera sig från samhället vilket gör det svårt att komma åt barnen, både för insatser samt studier. Uppsatsens syfte är att belysa barns situation i sekter samt vilka svårigheter det kan medföra för barnen själva samt dem som ska hjälpa, framför allt socialtjänsten. Studien är kvalitativ med en explorativ deskriptiv ansats.

This essay intends to provide an understanding of the developments in the right of public access and recreational activities in the forests of Sweden, and which factors and prerequisites that have affected this development. The forest and its history, along with recreational development has in many ways shaped today?s rights of public access, but there is also an age-old tradition of public access that has affected how we have used the forest, and that also has enabled the development of outdoor recreation. Many are unaware of this, which causes misunderstanding to appear around the rights of public access and how it is supposed to be used.The essay opens with historical descriptions of public access, the Swedish forest and outdoor recreation, to thereby provide a picture of how these three fields have influenced each other over the centuries. This is followed by a description of the current access rights and the problems associated with those, and a description of other countries' equivalent of the right of public access.

In this essay I point out that the presence of  ?Otherness? plays a key role in the novel The Beach by Alex Garland, and that the text relates to a colonial literary tradition. A feeling that every move we make has bad consequences for nature. This essay is an investigation of how art in general and jewellery art in particular can be a way of discussing and visualizing current environmental problems and the complex relationship between human and nature. I am discussing how artworks dealing with a dark and dystopian picture of the relation can be seen as the memento mori of our time.
