News value is an essential part of which event media chooses to report about. Political events consider to bee news with potentional large value. Media has an enormous power and possibility to create news and construct there own reality and where the readers is given a false expression of what really happened. Today the media must show profit and that indirect affects how the media choose to describe political events. In the Kenya case is it therefore possible to draw the conclusion that the two news paper has different construction of the political event in Kenya.

The aim of this Master's thesis is to explore how the localisation and the design affect the conditions for a school-media centre. A school-media centre is in this study a place where the students seek, find and evaluate information, discuss and exchange ideas. An active place for generating knowledge. The method applied in this study is "Space Syntax Analysis", a quantitative method with visual representation of the results. In the theoretical framework, space is the voids between walls, doors and ceiling, between furniture and bookshelves.

For the last ten years Internet has become more popular and is now used by most Swedes every day. Internet has made it possible for many people to access a great deal of information about news all day long. Internet has also made it possible for people to create their own news and comment on happenings as they are taking place. One way to do this is to start your own blog, which is a kind of diary where you can publish your own thoughts about politics and news.In Sweden the media is often referred to as the third governmental power since the media is examining the government and people in power positions and bringing the people as consumers of news closer to the government. There is a theory called agenda setting that says that the media is an actor that shapes the political issues discussed by the people and politicians.In this essay I have used the agenda setting theory and linked it together with the Medias references to blogs in their news. This I have done to see if the media might be influenced by blogs.

This paper is about our collective fascination for the social medium Instagram, and our lively discussions about why certain images may be more so-called "Liked" than others and why some individuals becomes more successfull on Instagram than others. Thanks to our own daily use of Instagram, the idea was born to study and look at how some individuals build their brand through this social medium. With social media new ways to construct and communicate images have appeared. Artists, celebrities and companies use media as a channel for communication and marketing. In our study, we focus on the use of Instagram for marketing purposes by Rachel Brathen, one of the worlds most well-known yogainstructors.

I detta examensarbete undersöks hur bilden av det litterÀra nittitalet och tvÄ av dess författare, Verner von Heidenstam och Selma Lagerlöf, vÀxer fram i svenska litteraturhistorier för gymnasieskolan under 1900-talet. Speciellt fokuseras pÄ vilken betydelse de tvÄ författarna anses ha haft för den litterÀra strömningen. Dessutom diskuteras hur kanonbildningen har sett ut.De lÀromedel som studerats i examensarbetet Àr kronologiskt disponerade litteraturhistorier skrivna för studieförberedande gymnasieprogram. Den tidsmÀssiga avgrÀnsningen Àr 1894 till omkring 1990. Ett flertal av periodens mest anvÀnda litteraturhistorier finns representerade i undersökningen.

The main purpose of this essay is to investigate the legal position for employers concerning protection against what employees can express about one?s employer in social media.It may regard dissatisfaction concerning employment, tort or so-called whistleblowing. The spread through social media may be comprehensive and thus cause more damage to the employer.Employees within the public sector as well as in the private are protected by the liberty of speech, which is constitutional, even the protection of sources or the right to criticize can offer some protection. This gives the employees the possibility to widely express themselves in private social media as long as it can?t be classified as a violation, which per se is very rare.However, certain differences between the both sectors will be pointed out.There are still no constitutional rights regarding social media, but a grey area has emerged concerning the legal position.

We have studied the effects that blogs have on the society through interviews with influential bloggers, a news director and the founder of Sweden?s largest blogprovider.Existing theoretical work by other researchers have been used as a starting point to our thesis. Via a deductive method we then proceeded to test these existing models and viewpoints on the reality.Through our research we have concluded that blogs, if they co-operate, have an agenda-setting function, and that they can affect newspapers to write about certain topics.We have also discussed blogs role as media watch dogs. Gunilla Sax, news director, questions the blog world?s ability to fully cover all media, and to deliver a systematic and just review of the media.

Europeiska Unionen : En resa genom tid om hur dagspressen i tvÄ nationer framstÀller europeisk gemenskap
This thesis has its focuson media portrayal of a large political institution; the European Union. Articles from two nations daily newspapers have been analyzed in order to examine how the European Union is described and framed for their readers. The newspapers that was chosen for this study and from which the material was collected, were the Swedish newspaper Svenska Dagbladet the American newspaper The New York Times. The material was taken from three periods of time, and by this the results did not only serve a presentiment on how the media reports about the subject, but also an idea over the media?s coverage character over time.

This is aqualitative interview study with producers at Sweden?s leading children channel?Barnkanalen?, how they experience the adoption to this new media landscape.
Digitala och sociala medier i undervisningen för elevers ökade motivation, delaktighet och mÄluppfyllelse.
The aim of the study was to examine both 1) how aware teachers in a specific area are about ICT tools in teaching ; and 2) how likely teachers are to use ICT tools to reverse the trend of unmotivated students and low achievement scores . I will look for answers through the following questions:How extensive is the knowledge of the teachers on digital and social media in education? How have teachers in the past year used various social media in their teaching? In what grade does ICT-supported teaching lead to higher motivation, participation and achievement? Is there a difference between the sexes, different stages (1-3, 4-6, 7-9) and number of years in the profession in knowledge of and openness to the use of ICT in education?The method used is a questionnaire in which a number of respondents have answered a number of questions about ICT tools in teaching. Validity of the study can be said to be high when the survey has measured what it intended to measure, however, I need to be careful in draw full account of the result as the response rate is low with only 39%. In summary, the results show that there is low awareness among respondents about the methods and the digital and social tools I lift in the survey.Mainly the respondents use some of the methods and the digital and social tools in preparation for the lesson.

Det senaste Äret har jag arbeta med analys av digital mediehantering, digital
media som ett informationsverktyg samt tekniken bakom det.

att anvÀnda sig av i syfte att göra sitt informationsflöde mer effektivt?, bÄde
internt och mot allmÀnheten.
Föreliggande arbete tar upp tekniken bakom dessa omrÄden, jag försöker
Àven förklara hur relativt enkelt det kan vara att integrera dem i en
existerande organisation utan att göra dyra omorganisationer.
Jag har Àven inventerat AMF och FM media pÄ deras utrustning, teknik
och gjort en lista pÄ vad som Àr anvÀndbart och pÄ vad som bör tas bort inför
en omstrukturering. Vidare föreslÄr jag var en viss utrustning bör lÀmpligast
placeras för att göra mest nytta.
Slutligen handlar detta arbete om att skapa en medvetenhet om digital
media, och visa exempel pÄ vad man kan göra med denna teknik i en organisation
som Försvarsmakten och AMF..
