Detta arbete behandlar förmedlingen av den vikingatida kvinnan i arkeologisk kurslitteratur. En kvalitativ studie av materialet delar upp förmedlingen i Ätta olika teman. Inom dessa teman redovisas citat som har valts ut för att representera de vis som den vikingatida kvinnan har förmedlats pÄ. Resultatet visar att bilden av kvinna har förÀndrats under perioden som studerats. Den bild som ges i kurslitteraturen Àr sammankopplad med den arkeologiska forskningsteorins utveckling samt rÄdande samhÀllshegemoni.

Since consumers to a great extent are present in Social Media, this new internet environment is increasing in relevance for consumer marketing. For controversial brands that are regulated in conventional marketing channels Social Media is an extra ordinary marketing opportunity, since social media is a legal grey area. More and more controversial brands are taking advantage of this opportunity, but the effects of these marketing activities are fairly unknown. In this study I have explored the profession sales people and how they use social media. I have also studied their needs for further education and how it can be addressed in social media, in order to learn how a B2B-company that educates in sales training can meet sales people in social media. It?s an empirical study based on individual interviews with a semi-structured interview template. Respondents were of mixed age, both men and women.

The result is aimed to give a deeper picture of how gender is represented in media.Material/Method: The method used in this thesis is discourse analysis, applied on twenty articles which contained personal interviews with women and men who have or have had breast or prostate cancer. Ten of the articles contain interviews with women and ten interviews with men. The articles were selected from criteria based on where and when they were published. They were picked from the two largest papers in Sweden, Dagens Nyheter (DN) and Aftonbladet (AF), ten from each paper, of which five were interviews with women and five with men.

This study intends to examine the impact of a well known debate page in one of Sweden?s biggest newspapers, Dagens Nyheter. We have done this by analysing Ekot, Aktuellt, Göteborgs Posten and VÀsterbottens-Kuriren to see to what extent they ?take? news from the debate page.The method used was content analysis and to describe some of our thoughts about how we placed the hits in different categories we chose eight of our hits to exemplify.The material from the newspapers, radio and television was examined to discover the potential impact from the debate page.To carry out this study we have mainly used theories about how media get influenced by each other?s news and how they do follow-ups and refer to the original media. Other theories of importance for our study are for example those about what kinds of events that become news and how media influences people?s thoughts about what?s important.One of the most important conclusions we were able to draw after carrying out our study was that the debate page in Dagens Nyheter has quite a small impact on what our chosen media reported on.

Bildens betydelse för talsprÄksutvecklingen - En studie av nÄgra pedagogers arbetssÀtt i förskoleklass

Bilden har stor betydelse för barns talsprÄksutveckling. I denna uppsats undersöks hur nÄgra pedagoger i fyra olika förskoleklasser anvÀnder sig av bilden för att frÀmja en talsprÄksutveckling hos barnen. I Forskningsbakgrunden ÄskÄdliggörs nÄgra olika övergripande arbetsmetoder dÀr man anvÀnder sig av bilder för att frÀmja detta: Tematiskt arbetssÀtt, Reggio Emiliapedagogiken, samt Kiwimetoden och Bornholmsmodellen vilka Àr utformade för att utveckla barns sprÄkliga medvetenhet. Inom de olika metoderna anvÀnds olika verktyg som samtal, berÀttande och datoranvÀndning för att frÀmja en talsprÄksutveckling. Undersökningen har genomförts med semistrukturerade intervjuer samt en deltagande observation av ett av de intervjuade pedagogernas undervisningstillfÀllen.

Detta dokument beskriver hur man kan anvÀnda kameramodulen TRDB DC2 frÄn Terasic tillsammans med ett utvecklingskort DE2 för Alteras FPGA-kretsar. Kamerabilder överförs frÄn kameramodulen till en VGA-skÀrm. VGA-bilden har en upplösning pÄ 640 x 480 pixlar och 10bitars upplösning pÄ fÀrgerna. Systemet presterar maximalt 15 bilder per sekund och det Àr sjÀlva bildsensorn som sÀtter den begrÀnsningen, man kan bla Àndra exponeringstid och frysa bilden om man sÄ vill. This report shows a qualitative study on how six young adults in the ages between 20-30 who are students at Linnaeus University in Kalmar percieve their news consumption habits and their use of news media on digital platforms. The aim of the study is to examine whether the six students feel the strogest connection with the press where they were raised or where they currently live, why they choose to use the media platforms they do and what meaning the use of the media bare to the students. We have seen a lack of information concerning why young people choose to consume news online instead of in printed media.The study is focused on theories concerning what affects people in their choice of media platforms and channels. This report shows that geographic nature, the quality of the content and which political ideology the daily press is founded on does not affect the respondents choice of media. Our study shows that the most important factor for the respondents is that the platform is easily accesssible and flexible.

This essay casts light on the quantitative aspect of the media representation of foreign news. The purpose of the essay is not only to describe the media representation of the countries of the world, but also to explain the representation out of structures that are mirrored by the mass media. Four hypotheses are stated that are operationalized in the research. These are treating four different factors that are believed to affect the representation, economy, geographical distance, cultural distance and the size of the population. A fifth hypothesis is stating that economy is the most influential of the factors.

Syftet med uppsatsen Àr att undersöka den diskurs som följde i svensk media efter migrationsverkets beslut att ge syriska flyktingar permanent uppehÄllstillstÄnd.Metoden som vi har utgÄtt ifrÄn Àr kritisk diskursanalys och innehÄllsanalys. The empirical material has then been analysed by applying a two step method, of first making a summary of the interviews and secondly making a comparison with a model of Lennart Weibull ?a typology of the Swedish mediasystem from an audience perspectiv? .Main results:Two different types of ideal media users can be drawn from the empirical research, the ?Investigator? and the ?Updater?. The updater search for news to stay updated and relies on the Internet as main source of information.
