Syftet med detta examensarbete var att ta reda på vilka tankar som finns angående helhetsperspektivet i den stundande gymnasiereformen Gymnasieskola 2007 (GY-07). För att få reda på detta intervjuades två rektorer och åtta lärare som fick ge sin syn på den kommande reformen. De tillhörde två olika program, ett studieförberedande respektive ett yrkesförberedande och dessa program kontrasteras mot varandra. Resultatet visar att alla informanter har en positiv inställning till reformen men att det yrkesförberedande programmet är mer positivt inställda än det studieförberedande programmet som hyser mindre tillförsikt till implementeringen av reformen..

Bakgrund och problemdiskussion: Affärssystembranschen befinner sig i ett paradigmskifte, ett paradigmskifte som karakteriseras av att affärssystem har börjat säljas som tjänst och utmärks av en nyttobaserad betalningsmodell där kunden betalar en hyreskostnad för att kunna nyttja programvaran. Att sälja IT-stöd som tjänst kallas för Software as a Service (SaaS) och den omfattande tjänsteleveransen väntas bli det nya sättet att leverera affärssystem i framtiden. Dubey och Wagle (2007) menar att då erbjudandet ändras krävs det även förändringar i affärsmodellen. Denna diskussion leder fram till studies problemformulering:? Vilka problem kan uppstå i affärsmodellen när en leverantör i affärssystembranschen övergår till att erbjuda SaaS?Syfte: Syftet med denna uppsats är att beskriva de eventuella problem som kan uppstå då en affärsmodell ändras.

Bakgrund och problem: Tidigare studier har påvisat brister i förvaltningsberättelsen hos svenska företag. Det kan vara svårt att kontrollera om väsentliga händelser skett och därmed är det problematiskt att kontrollera hur väl företagen uppfyller de lagkrav som finns på upp-lysningar i förvaltningsberättelsen. I och med den lågkonjunktur som drabbade framför allt fordonsindustrin hösten 2008 har en väsentlig omvärldsförändring skett och detta bör därmed ha upplysts om. Frågan är dock om det i realiteten finns någon skillnad i företagens förvalt-ningsberättelser mellan 2007 och 2008?Syfte: Denna studie ämnar undersöka om företagen upplyser om omvärldsfaktorer kopplat till konjunkturläget utifrån det regelverk som finns.

The aim of this Master's thesis is to examine and analyze what discourses about children that can be found in three Swedish culture publications, and also to identify the different social roles that are attributed to children in these publications. The theoretical and methodological background is discourse theory, as described by Ernesto Laclau and Chantal Mouffe. Additional theory used is social constructionism and Norman Fairclough?s critical discourse theory. Three questions are asked: What discourse/s can be found in these publications? What do these discourses tell us about the view on children within the library domain? What social roles are attributed to the children in the texts and what consequences do these have for the power configuration between children and adults? Furthermore there is a discussion concerning what effects these discourses might have on the direct and indirect reception of children in the library.

Syftet med vår studie är att medvetandegöra och uppmärksamma betydelsen av olika faktorers påverkan när det gäller att ge skönlitteraturen en plats i skolan samt att synliggöra konsekvenserna av detta ur ett elevperspektiv. Vår frågeställning är; Vilka faktorer anser lärarna i vår undersökning påverkar arbetet med skönlitteratur i skolan? Metod: Vi valde att göra en kvantitativ undersökning genom att dela ut enkäter till verksamma lärare i grundskolan. Anledningen till det var att vi ville nå ut till ett större antal lärare och få ett bredare undersökningsmaterial. Eftersom vi inte var intresserade av människors upplevelse av ett fenomen valde vi bort intervjuer som metod.

The aim of this study is to compare how three local librarieshandle their collections, and to compare this with handlingcollections at national level. I have investigated librarian?sopinions of their collections and how they take care andpreserve them for the future. It has also been studied if thelibraries collections of old material contains more than justold book rarities.In this study I had compared my respondents answer withSvante Beckman and Magdalena Hillström`s theory ofmuseum`s four idealtypes. Their view of a museum is in theforms of a treasury, archive, school and a theatre.

The purpose of this thesis is to explore the situation for ebooksin Swedish public libraries. The background is anincreasing lending of e-books in public libraries, with anacquisition model formed when e-books were more of anexperiment in a few libraries. The debate has escalated in therecent years and in this thesis I aim to investigate thelibraries? experience with e-books and the current pricemodel. The empirical material comes from interviews witheight head of public libraries in the Västra Götaland region.As theoretical background, I have used Michael Buckland?sfour roles of collections and price models from Lee andBoyle.My results show ambivalence with the price model.

The purpose of this master?s thesis is to examine virtual reading groups, and which meaning the users perceive that the virtual reading groups offer. In addition, the study inquires which details can be improved to further amend the needs and wants among the users of virtual reading groups. Through these outlines, it is discussed how libraries and librarians can make use of virtual reading groups as a resource. The study is based upon qualitative interviews, consisting of asynchronous e-mail interviews with a total of sixteen members in two different virtual reading groups.

This Masters thesis concerns feature film services in Swedish public libraries. We have investigated the opinion of eight librarians concerning values and criteria for selection as regards film. The theory chosen comes from varied disciplines, for example sociology, adapted to our subject. The most important theories are Antonio Gramscis idea of hegemony, Herbert J. Gans concept of taste cultures and Carl Gustav Johannsens discussion about quality.

As a consequence of a turbulent financial market with recurring recessions, the Basel regime was developed, an institutional change with the purpose to create enhanced financial stability through increased capital requirements and increased scrutiny of internal procedures. The Basel regime is an often recurring element in social debates where various aspects are discussed, one of which is whether it maintains its purpose to secure financial stability or whether it is cost effective, and if not, who gets affected by these potential costs.The majority of previously conducted research within this area agrees with the opinion that changes in the regulatory framework within the financial markets, such as the Basel regime, has led to reduced risk of bankruptcy for the banks which has contributed to increased global financial stability. However, research illustrates that these types of changes in the regulatory framework impose a financial burden leading to contradictions in the division of these costs between costumers and shareholders. This dissertation has been conducted from a shareholders perspective, out of which the study ?s three hypothesis has been created from.The data in this study is built upon the stock price from the three largest available banks? shares (based on total assets), in the 26 countries which are represented in the Basel committee from (2007) to (2013).

Grönområde - urbanitet - närhet till olika noder - T-bana - urban knytpunkt - Hornstull. Byggnaden ska ta till vara på dessa kvalitéer genom att arbeta med mötet där emellan. The purpose of this master thesis is to investigate what the users/visitors do at the Filipstads Bergslags Library when they are there. The questions we asked were "What do the visitors do when they are at the library?" and "How do the visitors give priority to the librarys services?" From these two questions we asked a third "How do the visitors view the library and its functions and what function do they see as the most important to them?" The method we used was a user study and we did this at the request of the management at the library. A questionnaire was constructed and handed out in a pilot study. We made some changes in the questionnaire before we started to hand it out at the library.

The aim of this bachelor?s thesis is to investigate what role the public library in Sweden may have when it comes to gender equality issues. The questions at issue that were asked, in order to give an answer to the aim, was how the librarians defined and saw work with equality, how much the steering documents for the library impact and what they are doing in their practice to weaken the dichotomies between the sexes. The theoretical starting point used for this study is three concepts, the gender system, the stereotypes and the gender contract described by the Swedish historian Yvonne Hirdman. The purpose of the three concepts is that gender is a social construction which produces gender stereotypes and a gender order in society, which the library is a part of.

The aim of this bachelor?s thesis is to gain deeper knowledge about how librarians in public libraries in Sweden view theirprofessional role with regard to the last decades of change in the library field. Especially concerning the technical evolution and towards a higher user orientation and market mindset, and in which ways this has influenced the librarians everyday working tasks. A particular focus has been placed towards the reference transaction, the use of computers and e-media, and the stock development. We believe that there currently is a changeover, from the libraries traditional line of function, towards them as more of service institutions.The method used in this study for answering the research questions and to gather empirical information is semi-structuredinterviews.

The purpose of this thesis is to examine a new music downloading service called Musikwebben, which is now available in many Swedish libraries. It focuses on the differences and similarities between this service and illegal music sharing services. The question is raised, whether the appeal of Musikwebben is high enough for it to be able to ?recruit? users from similar, illegal services. To answer this question, a qualitative content analysis is used, to explore various views on what legal downloading services have to offer and how these differ to illegal alternatives.
