Det har blivit allt vanligare att vi idag använder våra mobila enheter till att besöka webben. I detta examensarbete undersöks vilka centrala designprinciper en designer bör eftersträva när avsikten är att förenkla användningen av en webbplats i en statisk och en rörlig situation via den mobila enheten. Examensarbetet innefattar en litteraturgenomgång, observationsintervjuer vid två tillfällen och en prototyputveckling. Det första intervjutillfället identifierade de grundläggande designprinciperna som sedan stod till grund för prototypen. Det andra intervjutillfället genomfördes mot prototypen med samma individer.

 Redovisningen är anpassad efter den gamla ekonomin och fyller därför inte dagens behov av redovisad information. Istället för att endast redovisa företagets materiella tillgångar behöver bland annat kunskapsföretag presentera osynliga tillgångar vilka utgör en stor del av företagens värde. Detta så kallade intellektuella kapital behöver framhävas i företagens finansiella rapporter för att intressenter ska kunna göra en rättvis bedömning av företaget. Problem uppstår vid värdering och redovisning av intellektuellt kapital eftersom begreppets definition är otydlig och därför uppfattas olika av olika personer. Problem uppstår även eftersom det inte finns några allmänt etablerade principer för hur värderingen och redovisningen ska gå till.

This report presents the results of the tests of data rate and signal strength that I have conducted. The tests have been performed in the municipality of Arvidsjaur, Sweden. The report also contains the conclusions I have drawn from the results as well as an introduction to radio and the technology used in the nets that have been testedThe equipment used is:LG G2 cellphone used to test Telias 3GHuawei b593s-22 3G/4G router used to test Tele2s 3G/4GMobile Broadband Gateway R-90 used to test Net1s CDMAThe data rate has been tested with bredbandskollen (www.bredbandskollen.se). The signal strength(RSSI) has been read in the configuration menu of the broadband routers as well as in the cellphone.The conclussions drawn:Net1s net appears to be more used compared to its capacity than the other netsTele2s net has a high and even data rate where it?s signal strength is sufficient.

Företaget Rebtel ville ha en ny landningssida som riktade sig till internationella studenter. Denna sida skulle vara optimerad för målgruppen både gällande design och innehåll. En förundersökningen bestående av bland annat intervjuer med målgruppen, målgruppsanalyser och research gjordes därför. Förundersökningen bestod också av intervjuer med olika roller på företaget Rebtel för att få en inblick i olika arbetsrollers perspektiv och uppgifter under en sådan process. Med hjälp av förundersökningens fynd togs skisser fram och en landningssida utvecklades bland annat genom programmeringsspråken HTML5, CSS3, LESS, JavaScript, .NET och C#.

Vår undersökning visar att enkelhet ör den vanli-gaste och viktigaste orsaken för en konsument i valet av betalningsmedel. Undersökningen visar även att i olika ålderskategorier skiljer sig användandet av de olika betalningsmedlen åt och den visar även på olika värderingsgrunder vad gäller säkerhet och enkelhet mellan ålders-kategorierna för valet av betalningsmedel..

Animal welfare in Sweden has gone through major changes during the later years. In 2004, Swedish Animal Welfare Agency took over the central responsibility for the animal welfare from the Swedish Board of Agriculture, and in 2007 the board again became the central authority for animal welfare in Sweden.Even the practical supervision has changed, from the 1 of January 2009 the supervision is to be performed by the county administrative boards, instead of by the individual municipalities. Since 2006 every horse in the European Union has to have an identification card, in Sweden called a ?horse passport? which describes the color and markings of the horse as well as any veterinary treatments.The ELOF-project, a collaborative project between the Swedish Board of Agriculture and the county administrative boards, intends to make the animal welfare supervision effective, standardised, fair and risk-based. Because of the takeover of the supervision and of the ELOF-project the Örebro County Administrative Board has began to make an inventory of the number of horses and horsefarms in the county. Another Ethology and Animal Welfare-student and I did, in collaboration with the county administrative board created a checklist that in connection with the inventory will lead to a risk-based animal welfare supervision.

The Internet provides the common user with a variety of both traditional and non-traditional news sources, and a vast range of possibilities to contribute to the flow of information. By their participation in the production of information ordinary citizens can sometimes function as non-traditional news sources them selves and reach a potentially unlimited audience. The interactive nature of the Internet blurs the line between producers and consumers, and challenges traditional definitions of what counts as "news" as well as who qualifies as a "journalist". The main purpose of this thesis is to examine the potential consequences of this decentralization regarding the information behaviour of newspaper journalists and their perception of their professional role. The study consists of qualitative interviews with six journalists, employed by four of the leading Swedish newspapers, and a review of earlier research in the field.

This thesis lays the foundation of the future routines of effective error repotring fortraffic devices in the raiway sector.If a device, for example a timetable display, stops working it is vital that the device isfixed as fast as possible so that the travelers dont miss any important information.The methods that are used today are old and not very effective. It can take time forthe repairmen to find the right device or locating the broken component. At the sametime he is supposed to maintain telephone contact with central control throughoutthe whole session.The need for a new, more effective, system is vital to make the whole repair pfocessmore effective and let the repairmen work without having to contact the centralcontrol by phone.I started this work by examining the possibilities of assigning every object with aunique identifier (ID tag) that could be accessed by a manual scan device. The ideawas that the ID tag could holw information about the object and be obtained byscanning the ID and get the information presented on a mobile device.The work also included building a internet application that enabled the reader to seeand change the information on the ID tag.The result was a database that stored information of different objects which could beobtained by scanning the ID tag and presented by a internet application..

This thesis is an addition to pictures and animation that has been developed using CATIA V5. The animation and the images are a market basis to test whether the product is of interest in the Nordic market. The thesis is structured with elements of the Fredy Olsson method. In this thesis there is also a short presentation of the company Tylö AB, which been chosen to market test the product. The purpose of this thesis is to examine whether the concept of permanent establishment, as defined in Article 5 of the OECD Model Tax Convention on Income and Capital, is applicable to electronic commerce and if so whether the current definition is able to appropriately deal with the challenges of electronic commerce.In 2003, the OECD added a new section to the Commentary on the Model Tax Convention on Article 5. The new section is a clarification on the application of the permanent establishment definition in electronic commerce.The current definition of permanent establishment in the Model Tax Convention relies on the physical presence of a foreign corporation as the threshold for source taxation. While the current definition, prima facie, might be applicable on electronic commerce, the highly mobile nature of electronic commerce might affect the current revenue distribution equilibrium between states..

Denna rapport beskriver framtagande av ett koncept för ett geografiskt informationssystem som är anpassat för att köra på moderna mobila enheter ute i fält. Detta sätter krav på systemet vad gäller beräkningskraft, lagringsutrymme samt möjligheten att klara av intermittent datakommunikation. För att ta fram systemet utfördes först en förstudie med databaser och sökmotorer användes för att hitta relevant information och relevanta artiklar som kunde hjälpa till vid framtagningen av systemet. Denna fakta tillsammans med utförda tester och ?trial-and-error?-programmering ledde i slutändan till ett koncept som klarade av de krav som ställdes på systemet.

We live in a society where we are not bound to one place. We are encouraged to be mobile and constantly moving between different locations. The life in a convent is a contrast to this; nuns live at a specific place they are bounded to by vows and can not leave. The ordinary phone of today is not the same as it was 10 years ago. We still use them tomake phone calls and to send text messages, but the ordinary phone of today has muchmore uses, it is essentially a computer. To put into context to 10 years ago, it is a verypowerful computer, capable of processing wide array of information and presenting it tothe user. Nearly every single device today has a wireless connection, which makes everyuser connectable and able to use online services and internet at any time and place.This gives the user the possibility to integrate his or hers everyday actions with socialmedia and different search functions. Being able to search the internet for persons,restaurants, public transportation and a lot more is very useful to most.

The aim of this study was to examine the social relationships between children and librarians during reference interviews. Using qualitative interviews with five children's librarians I illustrate attitudes and behaviours during a reference situation which take place in psychological, social and even in pedagogical contexts. The literature review comprises studies of the reference interview with children and youth, a description of interpersonal communication and finally social interaction and dialog between teachers and pupils. The main result of this study was the demonstration of a dichotomy in modes of interpersonal communication. In one mode, the social frame is emphasized.

Det här är ett examensarbete som är utfört på uppdrag av Meal Planning Concepts AB. Målet var att utveckla en native multi-plattformsapplikation till smartphones och surfplattor som skulle fungera på Android och iOS och dela databas med deras nuvarande webbsystem. Funktionaliteten skulle vara baserad på den som fanns på deras webbsida. Applikationen utvecklades i MoSync som är ett ramverk som klarar utveckling till multiplattform. Examensarbetet gick också ut på att utvärdera MoSync under projektetsgång och presentera andra liknande verktyg och hur de förhöll sig till MoSync.
